For some reason my playbook is not connecting to my stereo Bluetooth headset(SonyEricsson MW600). Manage to add it to my playbook but its not connecting.
I've experimented with the Apple bluetooth keyboard that came out with the iPads and it seems to work well with limitations on certain keys (ie. some keys like the volume and function keys just don't work). I'm still deciding whether it is really worth the investment...the keyboard is almost full size and is easy to type quickly on.
I have a Motorola S10 bluetooth headset. I am able to pair it with the Playbook. But it never connects to the headset. I see the following message "No services"
I recently acquired several bluetooth stereo gateways which work awesome, however they all have the same name and it can take forever to connect to the right one.
Is there any way to set a custom name like you can for pretty much every smartphone out there?
I am looking for a tablet that will support Autocrat or dwg review. I am loyal Blackberry customer. I need to have capability to review dwgs and mark them up in field. Would like to buy playbook.
I am trying to listen to my music thru my car stereo on my nexus 5 it shows on the stereo auxiliary but the phone call or music dosnt come thru. I have tried on three stereos
I'm having issues pairing my device (9320) with my new Blackberry Playbook. The software on my phone is 7.1 Bundle 2039. I can pair both devices together through Blackberry Bridge but it shows that I've recieved new emails but doesnt let me open them.
I paired the Playbook with a friends phone (9360) which operates on a different system 7.1 Bundle 1133. And this works fine and we can access the emails and the device and playbook work fine.
The BlackBerry Presenter [URL] does not list the PlayBook as one of the devices with which it will operate. Does this mean that it doesn't work with the PlayBook?
I forgot my password for my playbook and so looked myself out and had to start again but to do this it keeps asking for a password. How do i find it to unlock the Wi-Fi.
we play music out of the speakers all the time, and to be honest the speakers are really good for this type of device. But is there any speaker docks available? Would be great to have one that charges to. I'm in UK btw.Or does the rapid charger dock have a speaker/connection out to connect to some do speaker's ? If not what do people use?
I have wireless Bluetooth DELL BH200 Headset. When I paired this headset with playbook, it says No Services available and can not play audio on headset.
Is it the case that Playbook is not compatible with buetooth headset?
I intended to use my Playbook as a presentation tool (instead of carting around a laptop meeting room to meeting room), but I cannot find a reliable means of connecting the mini HDMI output to a standard VGA projector. In my experience meeting rooms usually have an installed projector and a VGA cable ready to be plugged into a laptop. What I need is a cable to converts Mini HDMI to VGA (probably not a likely scenario), or Mini HDMI to HDMI (easy to find) then and adapter that converts the HDMI to a female VGA (just like the one on your computer)...has anyone seen or used such a set up?I don't need HD quality so I'm not worried about signal loss.
I bought the official Blackberry Playbook mini keyboard a few months ago. It worked once. Failed second time ( I assumed I hadn't charged it enough). Tried again recently, and it definitely isn't charging. No lights; no syncing; no pairing; no nothing. I've tried different chargers and different outlets, and the darned thing is dead. And, I am very certain it is not due to any product abuse, etc. It has just died. I either have a defective product, or is there some trick or reset button or some trick I need to know to charge this device? Or, have I just thrown away $120 on a piece of junk?
I bought this from Crackberry Canada last October. It stopped charging a while after (I think it's a known issue). It's been sitting in my closet since. Is there still warranty or some way of getting it repaired?
My Playbook is on but screen is totally blank, as in black.Did the screen screen settings get messed up or do I need to start looking for someone to repair it?
where do i find a cable to connect my playbook to a normal projector? i am not sure if this can be done but would like to be able to show work presentations this way.
I have asked this a couplr of tyimes but have not received a reply that works. Can anyone tell me how to it it please?Transferring to my Curve required additional software from syncamatic , apparently theu don't have it for the Playbook and the desktop software doesn't do it, you can see contacts using BlCVKBERRY bRIDGE BUT HAVING TO CONNEcT EVERYTIME just to send emails to contacts is rediculous, there must be a way to do it...Please help. ( the manual is wrong there is no button to transfer contacts!
i just bought myself the blackberry-branded mini keyboard for the playbook. i know i could've gone with many aftermarket ones, but i didn't want the hassle of partial incompatibility. now this keyboard has a touchpad included too. i'm starting to get the gist of how to use one finger for left-click and two fingers for right-click, etc. but what i can't seem to get is how to text using the mini keyboard's touchpad. i've looked at several Internet videos, but i see it being used in a few of those videos but no idea how they do it. i suppose i could just bring my fingers upto the screen itself and just do it that way, but that sort of defeats the purpose of having a keyboard/pad.
