Nokia Accessories :: Usb Car Charger Not Fully Charge Nokia 5800
Aug 18, 2011
I have a usb car charger with a cable that has a usb plug on one end, and on the other end there is a nokia 2.0mm charger plug. like this one: [URL] But the problem is that it's not fully charge my Nokia 5800, only about 85%-90%. Could this charger can fully charge a nokia 5800? on the charger itself it's written "DC 5V +- 5% Max= 1000mA"
have a car charger for Nokia 701? I mean, is there a car charger for Nokia 701? I'm quite surprised that I can't find a mobile charger for my phone. Some people say that the Nokia DC-4 charger is compatible because it has a 2mm pin, but I don't think that it's so simple. Furthermore, the DC-4 page on Nokia site has a compatibility list and Nokia 701 is not there and I can't find a car charger that clearly is compatible with the Nokia 701.
i'm looking for a car charger for my nokia c7, but in compatibility list i can't find one. In nokia official web site i see dc-6 and dc-10 models, with mirco-usb, but i'm not sure they are rights because my c7 model isn't in the list. is possible nokia havent' one for my cell??? with micro-usb standard (i've read it is the future standard for all devices) are there different ampere-voltage or usb is a standard for all phones?
just wondering is it necessary to get a nokia brand car charger or any other brand would do? If other brands are ok, do I need to watch out for the voltage of the charger? What do I need to look out for and how?
I have a C6-01 and I'd like use the Nokia fast charger AC-50.My battery phone is BL5-CT 1050 mAh and charger is higher than it, 1300 mAh.Can i use this fast charger with my smartphone?Could it damage battery or phone?
I would like to buy car charger for my Nokia N8. I have found these on ebay [URL]
Is it safe to charge mobile over micro USB connector or could it short battery life? And does it charge the same over the USB as when you charge it with normal charger that you connect to bottom of mobile?
I have a CK-100 car kit and trying to find a replacement/upgrade charge cable (CA-134) with a USB micro B connector instead of the 2mm that is fitted. The user/installation guide mentions that an alternative USB cable may be supplied but all searches have failed to find one. The alternative is to make up a cable RJ45 at the CK end, I can buzz it out but does anyone have the pin out for the RJ45? I've tried the CA-146 adapter and to be honest it's naff - it runs hot and the output is reduced to the point that whilst running my satnav app the phone will discharge faster than it can be charged, I've also tried the adapter on a standard car charger with the same results.
I'm wondering what is the charging power output going through the CA-134 cable from the carkit? If the CA-146 adapter was attached, is there a difference then in the output?
I own a Nokia BH111 for about three months. Everything was great until it stopped working while jogging (from the sweat, maybe?) and now it does not charge anymore. It is dead when out of charger, and while the charger is plugged in indicator is flashing red and it emits a low strange noise (similar to radio parasites...) but does not charge.
I have lost my nokia USB, so I bought a micro USB cable, the phone will not connect to nokia suite, but will charge. I have also got other problems with my phone, it wont connect to wifi or the network (3 UK), so is this part of the same problem? I have also tried all the USB connection modes and nothing works, any help would be appreciated, as I have had nothing but bad luck with my phone over the past week.
Using the plug in charger, the N900 charges okay.However...When I used a standard charger (using a Nokia standard to N900 block adaptor), the phone would not charge.I use the same block on the Nokia CK-7W car kit I have and it would not charge.Does this mean that the block is defective or the old chargers. When I connect both, it shows charging and the battery icon goes up and down and the yellow light glows on and off, but it simply doesn't charge.
I have an interesting problem: my Nokia 500 won't charge by using wall charger, even though I charged it day before. Charging by using USB is perfectly fine.
I've had my N8 three weeks now, and the last few days I seem to have a problem charging the phone. When I plug in the wall charger, the phone fails to recognize that I plugged it in. No charging message, no beep, nothing. I also tried plugging the USB cord into an outlet via an USB adapter, and nothing happens.
I tried plugging the phone into my computer via to charge and it seems to be working at the moment..
But this is unacceptable. I will not be around a computer all the time. Why isn't my N8 detecting when I plug it in using the provided wall charger? Is this a hardware issue? Do I need to return/repair it? Is this a software issue and Nokia plans to fix it in an upcoming update?ve had my N8 three weeks now, and the last few days I seem to have a problem charging the phone. When I plug in the wall charger, the phone fails to recognize that I plugged it in. No charging message, no beep, nothing. I have Nokia 5800 phone and I've just bought a BH-108 bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, when I connect the headset to my phone, I encounter a pretty much peculiar problem - the phone doesn't get any sound from the headset microphone. I can clearly hear anything through it, but the phone can't hear me, nor can the people when I call them. When I am calling, I can hear the person otherside, but they can't hear me. When I try to use a voice command the phone just doesn't get my voice and I get "no match found". I am sure that my headset works properly, because I gave it a try with few other Nokia phones and they got my voice normally.
As you know, nokia's usb cable is unable to charge the phone when connected through usb, so i bought the ca-126 cable which has 2 spilt ends, one to connect and one to charge. however, i'm never able to use both functions together. when i plug both ends into my X6, my X6 just goes into the cycle of being connected and disconnected. It feels as if the charging end is using up the power so the data connecting end is having problems syncing with the computer.
I have a 2 amp, iPhone 5 compatable USB adapter in my car. When I use this on my Lumia 920 it is charging very slow, 2-3% over a half hour. It charges an iPhone 5 rather rapidly. I could get by on my iPhone for the week and only charge only need to ever charge on my work commute.
If I run Nokia Drive is running the phone will lose charge while charging. Nokia Drive is no good if the phone cannot maintain power.
Can I use the 'Nokia Dual USB Charger DC-20' to charge my Asha 302 in my car? Also this Nokia Dual USB Charger DC-20 charger fits into a standard cigarette lighter opening in the car, right?
Can anyone give me some tip about charging my nokia 5800.How often should i charge my cell phone? Do i need to wait until the battery runs dry or should i charge it when ever i can? Please give me some tip as i want it to last longer.
In preparation for a long trek I'm looking for a AA-powered emergency charger for my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Nokia offers the DC-8, but the single AA limits the ability to recharge the phone fully. I carry 2,500 mAh NiMH batteries. At a voltage of approx 1.35 volts, that's 1.35 x 2.5 = 3.3 Wh. Not enough to recharge the 4.9 Wh batteries of the 5800.What's the current output of the DC-8?Is this current sufficient to recharge the 5800 when the batteries of the phone is completely flat?
may i know Nokia 5800 XpressMusic can be charge by power bank or not?. I know that this model not allow to charge by USB, but can it be charge through power port with 500mA power bank?
I think that USB charging is really slow. Yesterday, it took more than 6 hours to fully charge my HTC One. Charging via A/C is much faster, but I wouldn't expect that big difference.
