Can I use the 'Nokia Dual USB Charger DC-20' to charge my Asha 302 in my car? Also this Nokia Dual USB Charger DC-20 charger fits into a standard cigarette lighter opening in the car, right?
View 1 RepliesAbout 5 years ago I got 2 "free" Nokia 6102i phones with their chargers. Yes, I know, time to update, but I can't afford to. So, one of the chargers has failed. The other works, which is why I know it's the charger, not the phone. Is it possible to buy another one? I doubt it's reparable but maybe--- it wasn't damaged in any way, just stopped charging.
BTW, if I do someday update to another phone- Nokia or otherwise, I presume I'd lose all the info on the phone- and I'd have to start all over again with phone numbers, etc.?
If I have a dual SIM phone, is it possible to switch one SIM off and keep the other one on?

I want a charger that will charger both of my parents phones (Moto Q and a Razr) so that they dont have to carry 2 chargers. All of our phones are usb B and I have lots of data cables but I cannot find a charger that will charge them. I have a Q9c and mine shows unaauthorized charger when plugged into a car driven usb port. In the PC they all charge just fine.Does anyone know of a good charger that will charge these phones?? I am assuming that it is the same problem that iPhone users have but I am not sure, and I am sick of buying USB chargers that dont work.

When I plug in the wall charger, the phone fails to recognize that I plugged it in. No charging message, no beep, nothing. I also tried plugging the USB cord into an outlet via an USB adapter, and nothing happens.
I tried plugging the phone into my computer via to charge and it seems to be working at the moment..
But this is unacceptable. I will not be around a computer all the time. Why isn't my N8 detecting when I plug it in using the provided wall charger? Is this a hardware issue? Do I need to return/repair it? My usage isn't that much, yes I do chat on whtsapp and I know it does take up some of ur battery usage but then I have to keep it for charging twice a day. It charges an iPhone 5 rather rapidly. I could get by on my iPhone for the week and only charge only need to ever charge on my work commute.
If I run Nokia Drive is running the phone will lose charge while charging. Nokia Drive is no good if the phone cannot maintain power.
know if the Asha 302 auto keylock feature have the option to ask for a security code to unlock?( I am considering the Asha 302 to replace the C3-00 which does not have this option. My old ( low cost) 1616 has this security feature.)
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI discovered the other day I still have messages on my old Nokia 1100 phone. At first I thought ok, just put in a sim and copy them across. But the 1100 doesn't have this option. Since this handset is locked, I can't put in a sim and forward them either. It's odd the phone has internal memory but won't let you copy/move or do anything with the messages.
I've looked online for a data cable for the 1100. Maybe if I connect it to a computer I can extract or copy them then? I want to get these messages on my new phone with all the original details (dates, numbers etc.) intact. My googling so far for a data cable only brings up other nokia cables where the seller has just added the 1100 model number, but it clearly isn't the right cable for this phone.
