View 1 Replieshave a car charger for Nokia 701? I mean, is there a car charger for Nokia 701? I'm quite surprised that I can't find a mobile charger for my phone. Some people say that the Nokia DC-4 charger is compatible because it has a 2mm pin, but I don't think that it's so simple. Furthermore, the DC-4 page on Nokia site has a compatibility list and Nokia 701 is not there and I can't find a car charger that clearly is compatible with the Nokia 701.

In nokia official web site i see dc-6 and dc-10 models, with mirco-usb, but i'm not sure they are rights because my c7 model isn't in the list. is possible nokia havent' one for my cell??? with micro-usb standard (i've read it is the future standard for all devices) are there different ampere-voltage or usb is a standard for all phones?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a CK-100 car kit and trying to find a replacement/upgrade charge cable (CA-134) with a USB micro B connector instead of the 2mm that is fitted. The user/installation guide mentions that an alternative USB cable may be supplied but all searches have failed to find one. The alternative is to make up a cable RJ45 at the CK end, I can buzz it out but does anyone have the pin out for the RJ45? I've tried the CA-146 adapter and to be honest it's naff - it runs hot and the output is reduced to the point that whilst running my satnav app the phone will discharge faster than it can be charged, I've also tried the adapter on a standard car charger with the same results.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering what is the charging power output going through the CA-134 cable from the carkit? If the CA-146 adapter was attached, is there a difference then in the output?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a 3rd party charger, that charges fine my phone, Kindle etc. It's able to do 2,5A (5V) on output. But when I connect it to PB nothing happens, the screen lights up, but the battery is not charging. I think the problem is not because of not enough amps, it's more than original wall charger. But I have no idea what's the problem... Is it too much amps and PB, instead of using just what's needed, will just disconnect the charger at all?

View 7 Replies View Relatedi do not have an electrical engineering background and in fact know very little about amps, watts, etc. however to understand my power and charging needs for the playbook, i googled. anyone who knows this better feel to correct me.-the included outlet to micro-usb charger provides 1.8amps at 5volts.-the typical pc to micro-usb cable provides around 0.5amps at 5volts.-the typical power usage of a playbook while active and running is 2-3 watts (which is about 0.5amps to 0.75amps at around 4 volts (depending on battery state). So if the above is true, the pc to micro-usb charger will pretty much cover the usage amps or maybe even less but wont actually increase the amount of stored energy (breaks even). The included charger will provide about 1amp of juice to store after subtracting the 0.5 to 0.75amps of usage.but what is the maximum charger amps or voltage which can charge the playbook the fastest via outlet to micro-usb?is 5v the maximum and amps are the limiting factor? or can any amount of voltage and amps be used? i need it to be microusb not the magnetic post cable because my stand uses microusb. the reason i mention usage while active instead of standby mode is because i plan to run a night table clockapp which will draw 2watts but still want to charge the device quickly.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia CR-115 car holder, which I use with my 5530. It's a very good, compact and safe car holder, I like it a lot.I intend to buy a C6-01 and accordingly to Nokia's site, the recommended car holder for this phone is the CR-114, not the CR-115..The only difference between CR-114 and CR-115 is the thickness of the phones they support. CR-114 is for phones with 8-18 mm and CR-115 is for phones with 8-13.That said, I don't think there wil be any trouble if I use the C6-01 on a CR-115 car holder. C6-01 has 13.9 mm thickness, only 0.9 mm more than the theorical maximum of the CR-114 holder. I mean, since the CR-115 holder will grip most part of C6-01 thickness, I think it'll be OK.Has anybody already used a CR-115 car holder with a phone with more then 13.0 mm thickness?

I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe adaptive fast charger that came with my phone works well with my galaxy s6. Fast charging works well and I can get up to 50% charge in about 25 mins. But the problem is it doesn't charge any other phone apart from galaxy s6. If I plug my htc one or lg g3 or any other phone (even blackberry), it will indicate its charging but won't add any juice. I've tried charging other phones for up to 30 mins, rather than charging the battery % will either stay where it is or sometimes drain. It can't even charge simple things like a modem or even a ps4 controller. I once plugged a ps4 controller and the charging light indicated, but to my surprise after 1 hour of charging it still was not able to add one bar to the battery. In fact if I plug a phone with 2% battery , after 20 mins of charging the phone dies.
