Apr 9, 2012use the camera button to give it life and have to wait till the auto screen will take effect to shut it downsomebody else had or is having the same problem?

Jul 16, 2011the power button in my CK-200 does not work at all. Which is a shame as I have external mic that I cannot not activate now. The button use to work, also now the device is generally working really unstable, so I updated the software to latest, but no change to the power button functionality.

Dec 1, 2012I have a very peculiar issue with my 920. The phone sometimes does not lock when I press the power button. That time, it does not even get locked automatically. I always reboot when it does that; was even about to return the fone coz of this but no device is perfect.

Aug 4, 2015Yesterday the volume down button and power button started not working. This has happened before and usually if I turn it off and on again the problem is fixed. That's not working this time. The power button works about 2/3rds of the time and the down volume button won't work at all, it sometimes even lowers the volume by itself. Because of this problem, whenever I turn the phone off and on again it brings me to the fastboot page and puts my phone on safemode, which I can't get out of. I've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, doing a factory data reset, and using recovery mode.

Apr 6, 2012This afternoon my Iphone 3gs started to vibrate continously for about 2/3 minsutes whilst having a black screen. I then tried to bring the home screen up and none of the buttons would work. The power button hasn't worked for sometime so the remedy of holding the power and home button together won't work.
Is there anything I can do or is it completely dead with no chance of survival?

Apr 7, 2015Use double tap to wake up phone (enable in settings, touch menu) and install Touch and Lock and pin to your start screen to tap and auto lock. I pin mine on the right hand side right near where the power button is located. Easy to tap quickly. Touch and Lock | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States).There are other touch lock apps but some have a pause or splash screen before locking. Touch and Lock is instantaneous.

Dec 19, 2014Just started happening today. I go to lock my phone and it does nothing. Still powers off if I hold it down, but won't lock screen.
Also all of my quick toggles disappeared from my notification center. Just left blank grey spaces. Tried setting them up again, but no go, still blank spaces. Restarted phone and that didn't work. Hard reset is completely out of the question.
AT&T 1520 with dev preview, cyan.
Just as soon as this posted the toggles were back. Not sure what happened there.

I don't have the chive app installed which was supposed to cause this issue sometime ago. Also, I can do a soft reset - which means the power button works in some situations, just not with normal on/off operation.

Aug 27, 2014There is a lag when trying to wake the phone up. I will press the power button and it will take almost 4 seconds for the phone to wake up. This doesn't happen often, but often enough that I have to do a soft reset several times to correct the problem. Even then, it's still not 100% responsive. I'm on the latest DP and still having this issue.

Jan 30, 2010Anyone have this problem?I got this phone about 1 week ago from HK.I've encountered glitches here and there, and sometimes using hard-reset gets rid of the problem.But... just yesterday night I was typing an SMS then suddently it decide to reboot.
Okay, so no big deal I can retype but then it freezes on the White & Blue Nokia screen (no handshake).I tried shut it down, didn't respond. I took out the battery as the last resort.I put the battery back and tried to restart again. This time it vibrated but nothing else.I tried again... and all went dead.Now my phone is like a brick to me.I can't do hard-reset if the power button cannot work!

Unfortunately now I can't turn it back on. Pressing POWER button triggers vibra, but the screen remains dark and nothing happens after that.
I tried removing the batteries, plugged it in the wall, removed SIM card, I also tried hard reset key combination suggested in in this thread (Volume Down + Camera Key + Menu Key and press power button).
