I got a new phone (Nokia 2630) a few months ago. About 4 weeks the menu button stop working. When I push it the menu doesn't open but if I use the navigation keys to open, for example the Camera, when I push the menu button, the menu button works to take the picture.I didn't made any moditications into hardware e/or firmware on the phone.I don't want to take it to Nokia Care now.
View 5 RepliesI am a writer: There are about 3000 messages saved in my Nokia 2630. It seems that PC SUit or OVI can not handle or transfer this amount of messages.For example, when attempt to read messages of the phone, OVI writes: Reading failed. Fail to read message from this device.
Does anybody know a solution to this problem, besides copying by hand 3000 messages? Is there another way around?
I can't find currency converter in nokia 2630...I search in organizer and other menu and I even check calculator's options

Its RAM remains 80mb full even when no application running only 40-45mb is available. Sometimes its headphones' player buttons stop working and start working after restart.

Now I have a really annoying bug: the menu key, sometimes, stops working and won't bring up the menu if pressed briefly, and won't bring up the task list either (when pressed long). Anyone experiencing this bug? The only way I found to make it work again is turn off and on again my phone... And the task list can't be found in menus, AFAIK. I could do that with my old 5800XM...

This is like the 10nth time this has happened. The sim service menu(one with the sim card icon) does not open when clicked which is annoying as I use it alot.I usually have to do a full restore which deletes all my data to make it work again which really sucks. Then a few weeks later the problem reapears again, and that sucks even more. Im really fatigued at this point. Whats the point of saving stuff when you have to delete it every other week? Is there any other way to fix this without losing my data?

I click on the Ovi store app button and it pops up the symbol(Nokia Ovi) and sits there for eternity. I have reset the phone 3 times and to no avail, it continues. I have uninstalled the application 4-5 times and even tried to download the earlier version. I still can't get into the Ovi store.
I am not sure what happened. I contacted Nokia and they say that my phone doesnt support the Ovi store. My question is HOW was i downloading apps for a week and all of a sudden it just doesnt work. Why would ONE phone not be supported by nokia when clearly on the box, in the instructions, etc., it states that the Ovi store is accessable? I have had this phone for a week and a half and it already has these problems? What kind of smart phone CANT support or download applications, themes, and games.
I am experiencing since yesterday a rather annoying thing on my HTC ONE 4.3 (unbranded). In some Sense apps (Gallery, Mail, Music, People) some on screen buttons have become unresponsive.
The "three dots" menu button on the top right side of the screen does not react, as well as the "share" icon in the Gallery app. Same problem with the three dots menu button on Mail, Music and People (these are the apps I tested so far).
Its started happening yesterday but I've been running 4.3 for a couple of weeks now. I have the feeling it might be a Sense 5.5 issue rather than a 4.3 bug, because it. only affects the original Sense apps, not any other app that I have downloaded.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with the menu/BlackBerry button (whatever it's called) The button seems to be stuck. So when I push it the menu will come up but it will automatically do what is highlighted, which is often close or open the tray if on the home screen. If I lock the phone it will darken but then lighten up as if I have pressed the button, but I haven't. It will say screen locked but will continously darken and lighten back up.
I was having this issue a little while ago and even took my phone apart to clean as I thought that was the issue but it did not help. Then I needed to charge it, which I normally do by plug in, but this time I used usb to computer. There seemed to be a substantial update for my phone which once completed fixed the issue with the button. Which was a huge relief as I was thinking I would have to pay somebody to fix and I don't want to do that. It is very pricey.
Well today it started back up. I connected it to the computer but it said there were no updates and did not fix the button problem. And yes I have tried battery pull.
This is my first time posting on here. My BB Bold's trackpad does not work on the main menu nor in Facebook or many of the apps (including the Market). I have to type in the app I want to go to then hit enter and the track pad works for that. My camera button (right side convenience key) is not working but I am still able to hit both buttons on it (meaning the focus button and snapping-the-picture button that is within the camera button)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI fell in love with my 8310 when I first got it about 2 years ago. It has everything I could need. I am not a internet person but it has the memo pad for my fireman stuff, the right size buttons for texting since I have pretty large hands, and I liked the applications I had. Well my phone has taken the falls and the other day it fell face first into a rain puddle. I grabbed it up fast. The cell has dried and it still works except for the trackball and the menu button. Basically the 2 most important buttons. I took it to the store and the phones strip was still white and never turned red. They told me I am do for a upgrade. I love the 8310, its been great to me. So the question: is there a fix of the keypad I can just get off ebay or the other options were 2 cells I found. Not wanting to do the whole data plan deal and not all stoked about a 3g. The guy was trying to press the torch on me and I told him no thanks.
The cells that interest me are.
1) The 8520. I like this one cause it seems like its not far from what I had maybe a few new bells and whistles. I see it has wifi.
2) HTC Tilt 2
I've had my bold for just over 4 months now and in the last few days my menu key and track key aren't working properly. When I press the menu key it brings up my switch app window (I'm literally just pressing it, not holding it down for a few secs) and will do this 4 or 5 times before it brings up the options. Now my track key is going. I press it and it'll bring my options up. I can do this 3 or 4 times before it'll actually go into the icon or link that I'm wanting . I've tried the whole reboot with the phone on and it does nothing.
My last bold I had 19 months and did not once have a problem with it (other than the deep scratch I put in the screen!), 4 months with this and I can't even use the basic and most important keys on the bloody phone!
