Can someone please let me know what the process is for entering the service menus for the above phone? I need to review my wap settings and I cannot find info anywhere on the web on how to do this for this phone.
View 1 RepliesAlright my LG VX8700 carrier is Bell Mobility, the problem is I cannot access the service menu using the methods described for a Verizon 8700 (##PROGRAM8700) DOES NOT work for me. What happens when i type this in is nothing, my phone tries to call the number. I've been researching all day, to get to the service menu on a Bell Mobility phone its supposed to be ##123456 followed by another # key , with the six numbers being your personal msl or unlock code, from Bell. Basically what I need some ideas for what I could do, I've already tried LGDownloader and it doesnt find a model number for my phone. My other idear is more social, being I call Bell and convince one of the cs reps to give me my unlock code that is used to program your phone when you first get it, the problem being they most likely wont just tell you ( need to edit my proxy for WAP that i've purchased hopke.net). I was reading another thread that says to lie and say like, I was in the process of changing my phone number and then my phone restarted or something.

View 15 Replies View Relatedneed some help with this samsung slash sph-m310 phone.I bought the Samsung 20pin data cable, but WinXP won't recognize the phone. Searched for USB drivers for this phone and downloaded some software from Samsung called Samung PC Studio 3, also tried studio 2. They had usb drivers but doesn't look like any of them helped.Then I was looking in the forums here http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1434738
and saw someone said to type ##7678# and enter V-I-R-G-I-N into the phone, that there was a data screen to allow data transfers. I did enter this into my phone, but nothing happened. Wrong code it said. Tried some other numbers eventually the phone just rebooted and then shut off. Was worried i locked the phone, I hit end and the phone works fine now. whew!So please help, what is this screen ##7678# on my phone? And did I screw it up? and is there a usb driver for the m310 phone?

The sim service menu(one with the sim card icon) does not open when clicked which is annoying as I use it alot.I usually have to do a full restore which deletes all my data to make it work again which really sucks. Then a few weeks later the problem reapears again, and that sucks even more. Im really fatigued at this point. Whats the point of saving stuff when you have to delete it every other week? Is there any other way to fix this without losing my data?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased a Curve 8900 locked to t-mobile which i unlocked with a code purchased via a website, everything is okay and working with the orange sim card apart from the MMS message service with appears to be missing from the menu, updating the software via the update service dose not make any difference, also to access the internet the webNwalk from t-mobile application is still there, although this is not a problem i wondered if there was a way to remove that and find out where the MMS option is.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my s3 to a s6. But now im struggling to find the menu buttons in-app.. like on my s-planner app.. i want to update my calender on it but i cant find the menu on it. Normally i pressed my left touch button to open it but now it opens a multi-window.
Ive been googling for an answer but i couldnt find a solution for it. Ive read that there should be some sort of a little 3-dot button to access the menu but i only see that in half of my apps.
I had to reprogram my K800i and lost all my settings. I've got it all set up except for the earpiece volume which is typically low in this model. The fix is to set it in the service menu. When I go to the secret service menu to raise the earpiece volume, it allows me to change it, I hit ok. If I go back, it is at the old level, not the one I just set.
So is it really not saving it or just going to a default level? If it is not saving it, what could be wrong? I have updated the service to the latest one and my phone is not a locked version. I would test it but it is midnight here and I don't wake anyone to have them give me a test call. (no land line either)

I have the Arix 4G running Gingerbread 2.3.4 on AT&T. However, I cannot access the "Settings" menu option on the phone. It is not listed in the "All Apps" list and when on the home screen, pressing the menu button then "Settings" does absolutely nothing. I've factory reset the phone, twice externally.

I just switched to sprint yesterday and picked up the 9650. Today I tried to access the sprint blackberry internet service site to change my signature. When I go to register it tells me I cant access the Blackberry internet service from my pc and I should access it from my phone. I cant find any where on m phone to add a signature, any help?
