Apr 6, 2012I've been using yahoo messenger on my blackberry torch 9800 since June 2011 and so far have not encountered problem. But yesterday I had difficulty logging in to my ym account. It would say invalid username or password. But after several attempts I managed to log in. However today I can no longer log in. I tried logging in to my iPad and laptop and I can. But if I would log in at my blackberry I cannot access. Invalid username and password was always the answer. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it again and again but to no avail. I also downloaded yahoo messenger using blackberry browser and it's also no use. I also tried changing the password on the laptop but it did not work either.

Aug 16, 2012i bought a new unlocked blackberry torch 9800 from ebay yesterday and i inserted my sim card but i could not access the internet. i called my service provider to help me. After all instructions such as going to advanced setting to set up everything, it still did not connect. I put my sim to my former blackberry curve and i could access the internet.

Jun 13, 2012i sign up with ACN yesterday but unable to get blackberry messenger service. although, the other blackberry messenger service is on my old phone using crazy johns simcard is still on. talk on the phone with ACN specialist and they say all the service's still on.
anyone ever have the same problem as me? do i have to kill the messenger service on the other simcard first in order for me to get the messenger service?

Aug 22, 2010Just typed a whole msge, then think I deleted it by pressing the back button by mistake, so apologies if this has gone out twice! I've had my 'curve 8900', 4 over a yr now & never had any major probs until now. I updated my phone about 3 mths ago, but as I had bn using my (dare I say) iTouch, I hadn't used my web browser. anyhow, whilst out one day, I had 2 use my BB as my itouch doesn't have 3G & my phone froze after clicking on the browser button & a strange msge came up which said "Uncaught exception: java.lang.illegalArgumentException" . I then had 2 do a battery pull 4 my phone 2 work again. I tried again at home, but same problem occurred. I backed up & updated my phone less than a wk ago, hoping this would fix it, but the same problem keeps re-occurring. I've searched the forums 4 about 90 mins, but haven't come across this same msge with any other user.

Jul 24, 2012Since about the early of July12, I cannot access yahoo messenger on my blackberry 9700 anymore so far. I have tried many ways to solve but it always say "invalid password or user" or "unable to contact the server, error " something like that.
Even I uninstalled/reinstalled, changed version of yahoo messenger, also wipe my bb and installed new os... all everything I have done doesnt work at all.
What can I do ? I really wanna use yahoo messenger. It works in everywhere except on blackberry.

Apr 18, 2011I can't even highlight or gain access to my bb messenger. I don't get alerts when a message comes in and can only read it through the general message box. I've tried everything including removing my battery and replacing it it re-installing my messenger but all to no avail.

Even I press the power button for a long time (more than a couple of minutes) , nothing happened. The only thing I got, is when the device is plugged on usb charger : the nexus boot on the google logo then switch off and boot again on the google logo then switch off again and again and again....
I can't access bootloader or recovery... If the device is bricked, I just want to recover my. Is the flash memory could be recovered?
Google Nexus 5 :: Android 6.0.1 - Messenger Can't Access Photos Online?
Jan 4, 2016I'm new to android and just got a Nexus 5 and have a question about Google Messenger/Google Photos.
I'm saving all my photos on Google backup in order to preserve storage on my device. And in some apps (like Line), I am able to send pics directly from the online storage, but with Messenger it can't access any photos unless they are saved to the device (local storage).
Is there a way to get around this? Or do I have to manually "download" any photos I want to send prior to sending a mms?
I'm running Android 6.0.1. The phone was used, but it had a factory reset when I bought it, so I don't think there's anything funky going on with 3rd party apps.

Aug 18, 2010I got my torch 9800 on launch day. i loved this device and definately felt like i was upgrading from my old device (iphone 3g). as much as i love the capabilities of the device i have run into a few issues, specifically network issues. it all started on sunday when all of a sudden i lost connection to the blackberry servers(the little logo in the corner was gone..) i went to at&t on monday and they could not figure it out. apparently my service book for the blackberry internet service got deleted(i didnt even know what a servicebook was lol) so i went home later that night and downnloaded the at&t software and reinstalled the os and this worked. then all of a sudden today, my fb was acting up, so i deleted the app. then i lost the connection again... do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? im currently reinstalling the os as i write this.

Feb 8, 2010Alright my LG VX8700 carrier is Bell Mobility, the problem is I cannot access the service menu using the methods described for a Verizon 8700 (##PROGRAM8700) DOES NOT work for me. What happens when i type this in is nothing, my phone tries to call the number. I've been researching all day, to get to the service menu on a Bell Mobility phone its supposed to be ##123456 followed by another # key , with the six numbers being your personal msl or unlock code, from Bell. Basically what I need some ideas for what I could do, I've already tried LGDownloader and it doesnt find a model number for my phone. My other idear is more social, being I call Bell and convince one of the cs reps to give me my unlock code that is used to program your phone when you first get it, the problem being they most likely wont just tell you ( need to edit my proxy for WAP that i've purchased hopke.net). I was reading another thread that says to lie and say like, I was in the process of changing my phone number and then my phone restarted or something.
