I can't even highlight or gain access to my bb messenger. I don't get alerts when a message comes in and can only read it through the general message box. I've tried everything including removing my battery and replacing it it re-installing my messenger but all to no avail.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince about the early of July12, I cannot access yahoo messenger on my blackberry 9700 anymore so far. I have tried many ways to solve but it always say "invalid password or user" or "unable to contact the server, error " something like that.
Even I uninstalled/reinstalled, changed version of yahoo messenger, also wipe my bb and installed new os... all everything I have done doesnt work at all.
What can I do ? I really wanna use yahoo messenger. It works in everywhere except on blackberry.
Strictly for bb messenger use how many MB or KB would I be approximately using a month if I were to use it everyday...just a number so I can have an idea.

View 4 Replies View Relatedok so here goes. as my profile states , i have an 9520 on Orange , i have BIS activated and normal data plan. for some weird reason , yahoo messenger DEDICATED APP ( the one from blackberry , or blackberry yahoo messenger how others call it) will not work. it launches , i write my user & pass , i tap on sign in and then it says "signing in as xxxxxxxxxxxx..." for a very long time after which it gives me an "Internal error" error and after i click ok on that it gives me an "Could not connect to server" error. yes , i deleted the cache , cookies , etc , yes it does work to sign in from the browser/opera and yes i did reinstall it a thousand times and yes i did asked for my service books to be resent and i replaced them.

But yesterday I had difficulty logging in to my ym account. It would say invalid username or password. But after several attempts I managed to log in. However today I can no longer log in. I tried logging in to my iPad and laptop and I can. But if I would log in at my blackberry I cannot access. Invalid username and password was always the answer. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it again and again but to no avail. I also downloaded yahoo messenger using blackberry browser and it's also no use. I also tried changing the password on the laptop but it did not work either.

I am unable to access my BBM. As my cell got off , I got my cell's battery Charge and try it. Still it didn't open .later I open my battery while my cell was on and restart it atleast 4 times. View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got a new blackberry im very new with it, I'm told I'm not allowed to access my instant messenger's unless i get a contract... which i dumb because im prepaid, and last time i checked they sale blackberrys for prepaid so why cant prepaid customers cant get prepaid data plans... anyways... im trying to sign into my instant messenger for yahoo and msn that i downloaded from the blackberry site.... at first it told me when i tried to sign in i needed a activation code, to speak to a representative... so i did and... they told me different stories and a bunch of crap... then concluded that i wasnt able to access messengers unless i had a contract i was able to download and access with pantech duo smart phone and any other phone but black berry this is a big issue my 2nd phone i had to buy because of this issue

Why would SMS messages sent directly from a BB Curve on the Verizon network to my Storm 2 be delivered to my BB Messenger IM client as a Chat immediately, and then a number of minutes later the same SMS (from Curve) is sent to my SMS client (Storm 2).
I'm new to android and just got a Nexus 5 and have a question about Google Messenger/Google Photos.
I'm saving all my photos on Google backup in order to preserve storage on my device. And in some apps (like Line), I am able to send pics directly from the online storage, but with Messenger it can't access any photos unless they are saved to the device (local storage).
Is there a way to get around this? Or do I have to manually "download" any photos I want to send prior to sending a mms?
I'm running Android 6.0.1. The phone was used, but it had a factory reset when I bought it, so I don't think there's anything funky going on with 3rd party apps.
In my world, whatsApp Messenger says its installed and an upgrade is available. 24 MB are free it shows.when i hit upgrade from 2.0.1826.424 to 2.1.1955.124, i get an error:'WhatsApp Messenger is not available for download from App World'.
What does this error mean?I downloaded this app a few weeks ago, using appworld & paypal was used. it has been working fine ...why cant i upgrade?I contaced WhatsApp support, and they said that its an AppWorld / PayPal issue.
I have blackberry 9530 with OS 5.0.0.328. When I tried to login to yahoo messenger with my yahoo id. it say "Invalid Yahoo! ID or Password" then I try on my computer and I can log in, so there's nothing wrong with my ID and Password. Then I try another Messenger application like Windows Live and Google Talk but they said similar sentences. After all of that I try to add my email at setup/email settings but still I can't add my email too using my blackberry. oh ya! i try to log in with my browser on my blackberry too but I still can't login. Then I ask my friend and try to log in using my friend e-mail, my friend can login without any problem. After that I have initiative to make a new email and I did but when I log in using my blackberry I can't.

Now when I click on the sms icon I receive that java error message. I can send sms messages using the address book, but cannot view any incoming sms messages. A battery pull did not help.

I tried to find a highlight setting I would have disactivated by mistake but there is no highlight set up. At this point, i'm not sure if it's a software or hardware problem, or if the phone just doesn't have highlight function.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWith my phone locked, when I receive a text message and swipe it, to automatically go to it, my phone gets stuck at the message screen (where all my conversations are at) and highlights the new message. It is like it is confused because the top left back arrow will say the persons name in it, when i click it to go back it will keep going back to messages but i will never leave the conversations screen, i either have to click on someone elses name or hit home button and come back to it. I know this is very hard to follow so I am going to make a video of it and post soon.

The add said it was easy to do but I am having difficulty locating where the touch screen wire connects to. When I took the old screen off, the wires just came right up and I didn't see where they connect to. I think I have to take the phone apart even futher, but am afraid I might break something since I don't know how it is supposed to come apart.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got recently Verizon BB Storm 9530 and I unlocked it. I have my unlocked BB Storm 9530. But I am trying to connect to my storm browser it says some error. It says I shuld contact to my service provider or something like that so I cant use network on my storm.I contaced my service provider in Estonia also (Tele2 Estonia) and they said they can't do nothing because they dont have experiences with Blackberry. So I dont know what I should do to use network on my phone?Also my browser is lost in menu.. only in "switch application" mode I can use browser but it doesnt work.
