BB Bold 9000 :: Phone Won't Charge And Start
Apr 24, 2010Im desperately need your help over this matter, i have sent to couples of repair shop, but still, they cant rectify my bb bold problem.My bb wont charge as the result, it wont open and load to the homepage. even if it did, it will repeatedly load the OS.Can someone give me some leads on this problem? something to do with technical errors. Btw, my battery is fine, tried switching it with my friend's bold, and it works. .so no problem with the battery. .

Sep 4, 2010I've noticed during a conversation if I say "yes" or "uh-uh" (or make any comment) it cuts out the other person, almost like when call waiting clicks in or you get the notification that a text came in. It's long enough that I miss a word or two. It's not like the other folks where their fingers were over the mic. It's like you can't come close to saying a word unless the other person is completely silent for a few seconds.

Jun 5, 2010Im using nokia 5530 and usually it goes slow and some of its apps stop working like music player hangs but remain playing. it slows down while sending or receiving messages even when messages are in outbox. Its RAM remains 80mb full even when no application running only 40-45mb is available. Sometimes its headphones' player buttons stop working and start working after restart.

Jan 3, 2010I come with an interesting problem regarding my N73. It is a bit long. Here is a bit of back story:
I have(or had) two Nokia N73 one was a North American model and the other from Japan (called Softbank 705NK). About 2 weeks ago, I gave the North American one to my brother because he was without working phone. Last Thursday the battery in that phone took a dump and needed to be replaced. He turned the phone off to go into a meeting and when he went to turn it back on it would not turn on(It had a full charge on it when shut off). Putting it on a charger did not work. I tried charging the phone up with the other Nokia charger I had and it did not work. Then I tested the battery by putting it into the Japan Market N73 and the battery still did not work. I then put the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) N73’s battery into his phone and the phone turned on. I also checked both chargers on this phone and both worked on his phone with the JDM N73’s battery. I concluded his battery was dead and gave him my battery and promptly ordered a new battery from Nokia for the JDM N73. (I was not using it anyway at that time)
Here is where it gets interesting, on this past Saturday I decided to try the “dead” N73 battery one last time before I tossed it out and I put it in the JDM N73 and it worked and it charged and performed well under heavy use (i.e. picture taking and surfing the web). Today I put it down and it shuts off (with a full battery). I figure I must have pushed the off button on it and turn it back on. All is well until I slide the camera cover open and it shuts off again. I turn it on a third time and tap the left side (the non side button side) absent minded while pondering something and it turns off a third time. So this time I power it up and tap the spot above the IRDA (on the side without side buttons) and sure enough it shut off. I duplicated this a third time with the same results. I then took the battery cover off and discovered the battery does have some side to side play but looks secure. I was able to get it to shut off with a really hard wiggle but it does not seem to break contact under normal duress.
The shutting off when opening the camera lens cover and the tapping of the side of the phone lead me to think it is a lose battery. This phone never gave me an ounce of trouble with the original OEM battery that came with it and likewise the North American N73 never gave me trouble with the battery(until it died). So why did it start now? Would a battery that is on its last legs be more susceptible to vibration/movement? I will be trying it with the new OEM battery arriving from Nokia (should arrive ether Mon or Tues) to see. Should it turn out to be a loose battery, how does one fix it? Would wrapping a strand or two of electrical tape around the sides of the battery to thicken out the battery fix it or will the old paper on top of the battery help?

Do not know how this happened, no damage to the phone at all, all of a sudden anything that plays of the speakerphone is not working, ie) music, alerts, ringtones.. NOTHING. Not even speakerphone during calls.The handset speaker works perfectly fine. I went thru allmy options, looked at all the sound profiles, nothing is working. Videos aren't playing sounds either. But if played through the handset or earphones it works....

Aug 1, 2012I have had my blackberry bold 9900 for about 6 months now. IN the last 2 months i will go to call someone and the phone is silent(No ringing or voice from the other person). So i started pushing keys on my phone to see if i could hear that and i have come to notice that if i hit "#" all of the sudden it starts ringing or the persons voice is there on the other end. They can hear me the whole time but I cannot hear them. When it starts doing this silent thing I am able to hit the # key for about the 1st 2 phone calls then it does not work what so ever. The other person can hear me but I can hear nothing. I then have to take my battery out and restart my phone and it will work for a few hours or maybe a day but then does the same thing again.

May 6, 2012About a week or so ago, the handset stopped working on phone calls on my Verizon 9930. I would have to put the phone on speaker in order to hear the person on the other end. I just updated to the latest OS that was released yesterday (7.1.0.580) and the problem is still there. Can't remember what triggered the handset to stop working, as I didn't do anything different to the phone, or drop it, etc. I should add whether receiving or making the call, it doesn't work either way. Also I've tried soft pulls (alt + upper case + del) but not a battery pull. Figured the OS update worked the same as a battery pull.

1) The middle button (used for menu and selection) is not working. But when I turn the phone off for about 5 or 6 minutes and then turn it back on it magically works again for about.5 or 6 minutes.What is the problem and how can this be fixed?

Aug 14, 2010My bold stopped working a few weeks ago, At first i thought it was the battery, Bought a new battery nothing happened. Next i thought it was the Charger, Bought a new one still nothing happened . Someone told me that the USB port was probably broken, And i can't get it fixed by tmobile cause the bold is a AT&T Phone . So a friend of mine told me to buy a charger dock on Amazon/Ebay , And the Phone will charge i just won't be able to put stuff on my phone through my Computer . Can anyone clarify that if i buy the dock it will work?, Also if it doesnt work at this point what should i do?

Aug 17, 2013Currently, when I want to take a picture with my phone and I touch to open the camera app, the screen would turn black, with no image. The only thing that would show is the camera button and the option to go into the camera settings. There's not much within camera settings -- either switch the main or front camera and the photo capture mode (scene, night, HDR, etc.), restore to default, etc.
If I t back out of the camera app and go to the home screen and try to get back into the camera app, it would pause for a bit (about 5 seconds) before popping up the imageless (black) screen. Then, a message would pop up saying, "Sorry! Camera is not responding. Would you like to send an error report to HTC?" I would be given the option to "Don't send; Wait; Send Report". If I go back to the home screen a third time and then try to open the camera app again, it would say "unable to start camera".
