May 29, 2010need some help with this samsung slash sph-m310 phone.I bought the Samsung 20pin data cable, but WinXP won't recognize the phone. Searched for USB drivers for this phone and downloaded some software from Samsung called Samung PC Studio 3, also tried studio 2. They had usb drivers but doesn't look like any of them helped.Then I was looking in the forums here http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1434738
and saw someone said to type ##7678# and enter V-I-R-G-I-N into the phone, that there was a data screen to allow data transfers. I did enter this into my phone, but nothing happened. Wrong code it said. Tried some other numbers eventually the phone just rebooted and then shut off. Was worried i locked the phone, I hit end and the phone works fine now. whew!So please help, what is this screen ##7678# on my phone? And did I screw it up? and is there a usb driver for the m310 phone?

May 26, 2010I have a problem with my BlackBerry BOLD 9000 v5.0.0.509 (Platform 5.2.0.50). The lock is "deleted" not "Hidden" from my menu LOCK PICTURE: and when i keep pressing on A key the telephone will lock but when i press any key after it locks, message appears which says that i have to click on mute key to unlock but when i click on the mute key it doesn't unlock. I deleted the password and I still have the same problem.

Dec 1, 2011This is like the 10nth time this has happened. The sim service menu(one with the sim card icon) does not open when clicked which is annoying as I use it alot.I usually have to do a full restore which deletes all my data to make it work again which really sucks. Then a few weeks later the problem reapears again, and that sucks even more. Im really fatigued at this point. Whats the point of saving stuff when you have to delete it every other week? Is there any other way to fix this without losing my data?

Feb 8, 2010Alright my LG VX8700 carrier is Bell Mobility, the problem is I cannot access the service menu using the methods described for a Verizon 8700 (##PROGRAM8700) DOES NOT work for me. What happens when i type this in is nothing, my phone tries to call the number. I've been researching all day, to get to the service menu on a Bell Mobility phone its supposed to be ##123456 followed by another # key , with the six numbers being your personal msl or unlock code, from Bell. Basically what I need some ideas for what I could do, I've already tried LGDownloader and it doesnt find a model number for my phone. My other idear is more social, being I call Bell and convince one of the cs reps to give me my unlock code that is used to program your phone when you first get it, the problem being they most likely wont just tell you ( need to edit my proxy for WAP that i've purchased hopke.net). I was reading another thread that says to lie and say like, I was in the process of changing my phone number and then my phone restarted or something.

Jul 1, 2010It keeps telling me that the c: memory is full and that i should delete some items, however when i try to, there is hardly anything on the c:. Also the phone only works sporadically for about five minutes after switching on and after that the menu button and the touch screen do not work properly and i am unable to make any calls or texts, but can still recieve calls.
Also it is telling me that the sim memory is full and remains full despite deleting text messages. Has anyone else experienced such problems or know how i can fix these problems?

Sep 8, 2010I had to reprogram my K800i and lost all my settings. I've got it all set up except for the earpiece volume which is typically low in this model. The fix is to set it in the service menu. When I go to the secret service menu to raise the earpiece volume, it allows me to change it, I hit ok. If I go back, it is at the old level, not the one I just set.
So is it really not saving it or just going to a default level? If it is not saving it, what could be wrong? I have updated the service to the latest one and my phone is not a locked version. I would test it but it is midnight here and I don't wake anyone to have them give me a test call. (no land line either)

Made the trade and got $50 back since it was on sale suh-weet!Anyways first thing i did was turn off auto brightness. Normally on my GS2 i would just adjust it myself via the notification bar. Well I decided to go to settings>display then tried to click on brightness. Brightness is greyed out and unclickable. What is up with this? I can change it via the notication bar or the widget to set brightnesses from it, but cant go through settings display to change it.

Sometimes when I start the unit up in the morning no icons appear on my home screen although when I go into my apps they are all there. I would have to restart the phone a couple of times before everything would appear. Now I seem to have a permanent problem the touch sensitive buttons on the bottom of my phone for getting to the settings and the 'back' button do not light any more, but they do function.
