I am unable to either receive or send any file via Bluetooth, When a another device sees me and tries to send, It asks for passcode, which i create a 4 digit, in matter of seconds it times out and looses connection. Similarly when i trie to send a file from my device strom 2, i can never select other devices at all.

I have a Nokia 5800 XM. I am not able to receive any file via Bluetooth if that file is not openable by Nokia. ie., if I receive a jpg or mp3 file, it receives fine, and when I open it from Messages, it tries to open it, and then I save it from the Message to the Gallery.But when I try to receive some other type of files which is not supported by the mobile, it receives the message, but it fails to open the bluetooth message and as a result, I am not able to save it to the Mass Memory. It says Un supported files.
Say for instance, I am trying to receive a docx (Microsoft Word) file, then I face this problem.Is there any way to save the file directly to any folder in memory without trying to open the received message?Had it been some protected files like .SIS or .SISX then I would agree, but It's bad if I am not able to receive general files.
I purchased Xperia Mini Pro (Black colour) on 15th March 2012. Am not able to receive files transferred from other mobile phones using Bluetooth.
I go to Settings-->Wireless and Network-->Bluetooth. I switched on Bluetooth and device visibility. I accept the passcode and I am able to pair with other mobile phone.
But while the file is getting transferred from othe mobile phone, my Xperia mini pro suddenly stops transfer and says, "failed to receive file".
The mobile has simcard and 2GB memory card. how to make file fransfers from other mobile working using bluetooth.
I cant send any files though Bluetooth but i can receive any !! why is it so ???? i've been a regular user of Nokia and recently i just switched on to Sony but its so weird...it aint that user friendly, we cant handle any folders, cant manage any, conclusion will be as, we are meant to use the phone as the way it is..but compairing nokia actually Nokia let the user customise the phone ! I called up service centre and the explanation what they're giving is, my version is andriod 1. something and they says because if that only am not able to send any. Now i have to update my version too...its not fair. it was said it got bluetooth but no one said we can't send any through it.

I know that we can both receive and send international texts because we text a mutual friend in Australia. I checked the participating carriers in Norway. His carrier, Netcom, is on that list. I have looked up on a lot of forums on what could be the problem and have d/l the service books and registered the HRTs and did a battery pull without any luck. I have noticed that I do not the MMS service books (MMS Client and MMS Transport). I was curious as to why I don't have them and if I could get them. Also during my last update (V5.0.0.328 Platform 4.2.0.128) I noticed I lost my browser icon. Was that supposed to happen or did I mess something up?

At the same time Verizon dropped Yahoo as their e-mail server.I went into BIS and made the incoming and outgoing changes. I have the options to send the files but whenever I do so it would say file transfer failed to the other phone I"m sending the file to. At bluetooth settings, it says 'paired but not connected'.
