BB Storm :: The Internet Does Not Always Work And Unable To Send Or Receive?
May 7, 2011
I have a BB Storm 2 (BB9550) it is unlocked and I am using it with AT&T. I do have a problem the internet does not always work and I am not able to send or receive any BBMS. ow can I fix that?
I have been trying to text and receive texts from a friend in Norway. I know that we can both receive and send international texts because we text a mutual friend in Australia. I checked the participating carriers in Norway. His carrier, Netcom, is on that list. Now I have a Blackberry Storm 9530 and he has a Nokia. I'm not sure of the model.
I am unable to either receive or send any file via Bluetooth, When a another device sees me and tries to send, It asks for passcode, which i create a 4 digit, in matter of seconds it times out and looses connection. Similarly when i trie to send a file from my device strom 2, i can never select other devices at all.
I can no longer send/recieve emails on my blackberry storm, however, i can make phone calls, send texts and talk to contacts on my bbm.I cannot connect to the email settings page and I am registered with the wireless network.Any suggestions would be helpful.
I own an unlocked BB Storm (9530) and have been unable to send and receive MMS messages. Its now on AT&Ts Network and I talked to them about it they made it out to be that I needed a data plan. So they signed me up and I thought all was fixed. But I soon realized that was not the case. I cant even select to compose MMS text. I now have unlimited messaging and am on their BB data plan.
I have looked up on a lot of forums on what could be the problem and have d/l the service books and registered the HRTs and did a battery pull without any luck. I have noticed that I do not the MMS service books (MMS Client and MMS Transport). I was curious as to why I don't have them and if I could get them. Also during my last update (V5.0.0.328 Platform 4.2.0.128) I noticed I lost my browser icon. Was that supposed to happen or did I mess something up?
my BB 9550 verizon until now can't send or received email. XL axiata (BIS). OS v5.0.0.1082. Try to complain in XL center and costumer service says the BlackBerry device is having trouble, what is true? In service book notice is CMIME disallowed. several times i try to send service book from device, erase from DM and send service book again, but until now is SAME.

I am using a Storm1. As you know this weekend BIS did an upgrade. At the same time Verizon dropped Yahoo as their e-mail server.I went into BIS and made the incoming and outgoing changes. It took and I resent a service book.I haven't been able to receive e-mail since. I can send e-mail but not receive.I've done a wipe and everything else I can think of. Any ideas?
I bought an unlocked Storm 9550 series last week and it was working fine until yesterday. It will not let me make or receive calls but yet I can still text. When I do try and call it says "congestion".
I have a storm2 9550 unlocked and am using Tmobile Pay as you go. I have tried several times to disable the password, mostly by wiping the phone. Now i cannot make a call or receive a call or send or receive a text. On the phone calls I get a busy signal and an error message SMS error 97 message ID 40.
I can't seem to send text messages (but I can receive them). I'm told by my carrier that I need to change my service center number (and they provided it). I've been looking all over the phone for this option, and can't seem to find it. I keep seeing posts saying "On your device: Options > SMS > Service Center." But "service center" does not appear when I go to options>SMS text. I see the following; screen options conversation style: show names: message options priority: callback number: disable autotext: so my question is;, where do I find this?
I have an issue with my Gmail. I recently updated to 5.0.0.328. I can receive emails just fine. However, I can only send emails to contacts with a saved email address or reply to emails that have come to my inbox. for example, I receive an email from a friend, I can reply just fine. If I type that email in the "To" field, the envelope icon to send the message is grayed out. I resent service books, per another thread, but to no avail.
Yesterday my phone was working perfectly, it turned off because the battery died. This morning I couldn't receive or send any emails, check my twitter or connect to the internet. My carrier is simple mobile, I called them and they said my phone had been locked by "itself" and there's nothing they could do. I have a blackberry curve 9300?
This errors came to my phone suddenly and now i'm unable to take or receive calls . I'm pretty sure that i didn't add or update any software within last 3 months. But there was a problem with my charger ( my phone always get stuck or freeze after I connect it to the charger so I always have to remove the battery and restart the phone after a charging. After I press "ok" to the error message I can use any software in my phone other than making calls also I'm unable to go to dialing screen I have attached the images of the errors.
As of this morning, my Storm2 has been unable to receive e-mail. I am able to send with no problem. I am running Blackberry Professional Software connected with our exchange server. No other user is having an issue. I have pulled the battery for a reset, but still no luck.
While on a telephone call to tech support I needed to read an email that was to be sent to me by the tech. The email was sent but it did not show up on my blackberry until I ended the telephone call. Is this normal? While on the phone call I checked email online and the email message was there but did not show up on the phone.
I have the Curve 3G and am unable to send/receive MMS.I figure it's because of the default settings but I cannot find the MMS settings anywhere. Normally it is right under the options menu but when I go to my options, all it has are: Sounds and Ring Tones, Networks and Connections, Display, Typing and Input, Device, Call Management, Security, Accessibility, and Third Party Applications.I have tried to find the MMS settings under these but cannot.
I am unable to send/recieve MMS from my xperia X10. Now problem is if I make a following profile by going to Settings >> Wireless & networks >> Mobile Networks >> Acess Point Names.
[code[....
neither my GPRS work nor MMS. If I remove APN type = mms than my GPRS start to work again normally. Even if I put APN = mms still MMS would not work.
I just spoke with those from verizone wireless and they said that a verizon device is unable to connect to the internet outside of USA. My blackberyy 9530 storm bought from ebay is unlocked and works fine on gsm network here in Spain, but i have no internet... i wonder if is because what they said or just my blackberry is mesed up?
BB is v5.0.0.328?I bought a "used" Blackberry Storm 9530 off of someone for $100. The phone wasn't unlocked, so I went ahead and got it unlocked. Now that I have my vodafone SIM in there, I am able to call my friends, receive calls, and receive texts. However when I send texts they are never received by my friends even though they show a check. Before I upgraded to v5.0, I would get a red x next to the message as soon as I tried to click send, and next to the persons name/number it would say "unidentified subscriber".I tried calling Verizon Customer Service, but they said as soon as I had unlocked the phone they have nothing to do with it anymore.
Whenever I try to call someone/send a text it either doesn't send or I get call failed after about 5-10 seconds. Last night it kept saying SOS in the top corner, even when I had signal. I tried rebooting it but it would say vodafone UK for about 30 seconds after a reboot and the go to SOS. My bbm is working fine, so im not quite sure what the problem is. today it worked for a bit and within the last hour it has reverted back to doing it agai, but it doesnt say SOS.
I have problem sending or receiving both videos and songs. At first it starts going but it takes a very long time to reach half way then it stops and says expires.
I received a message from Blackberry saying emails not being delivered & to validate my password but when i try to log into my email account or settings i keep being told my username & or password are wrong! Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to resolve it
