May 2, 2012So I can receive texts from everyone in my contacts and who I normally text, but this one girl in my contacts has been telling me she receives my texts but then complains when I dont answer her, but I have not been receiving these texts. So I am curious as to what could be the problem with my Iphone 4? Ive updated it to 5.1 today to see if that was the problem but we are still having issues, and I also checked that she is also using verizon.

Dec 8, 2014I bought iphone 6 plus 64G to upgrade from my iPhone 4S. I have not been able to send or receive iMessages to iPhone users in my contacts with my cell number. It always uses my email when I create a new iMessage and is able to send that way. I cannot receive iMessages from iPhones to my cell number. which is a huge problem. I have tried turning iMessages on and off and resetting my network and nothing seems to be working. How can I resolve the problem?

Jun 1, 2010It's not letting me sending messages to any person abroad BUT I'm still able to send it to people in the same country (UK). This has never happened to me before and just happened suddenly this morning. This has happened to someone I know and it eventually worked itself out after quite a long time, he couldn't send message abroad, couldn't recieve them and even couldnt use it through Yahoo Messenger or MSN. He went to the provider and they had no idea either.

There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts.When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.
When I send texts, the loading bar at the top of the page never reaches the end - the same things happens: people receive the texts but when they reply it never reaches me.I have replaced the phone and it did t make a difference. I am with Vodafone and I'm always in full reception when this happens.When I connect to wifi, the text messages (but not missed calls) come through.

Jun 18, 2012I have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times. Please help:/ this is not an issue with location, and everytime I make calls it just says "calling mobile..."

Dec 2, 2014I recently discovered that I am not receiving text messages on my iphone 6. I also found out that the text messages I thought that I was sending are not being received by the recipient. I an however successfully sending and receiving iMessages. I purchased the iPhone 6 in August and didn't have any issues sending or receiving texts until about two weeks ago (early November). I have iOS 8.1.1.Â
So far I have tried the following with no results:
-turned phone off and on
-reset network settings
-Removed and reinserted SIM card
-turned imessage off and tried sending texts
-turned on "Send as SMS" in message settingsÂ
None of these troubleshooting efforts have been effective. Something that works?

Jun 24, 2010I replaced 3 iphone 3g's with 3 new iphone 4's on my family plan. 2 of them are working just fine. The other one is unable to send or receive texts or mms. Anyone else having this problem? Or anyone that can suggest how to fix this? I wonder if I might have misstyped in the ime or SSID info on the at&t page incorrectly on that one unit. This is a non jail broken phone. Just a regular 3g.

Mar 26, 2012I have one problem with my AT&T iPhone 4. I send texts to people and they don't receive it. It sends but the person doesn't receive it. This is multiple people on different networks. Sometimes I don't even receive their texts. I did a little research and I learned that it isn't an issue from Apple but rather AT&T. And this has been going on for a few weeks. Should I contact AT&T about this?
