Oct 22, 2011I have problem sending or receiving both videos and songs. At first it starts going but it takes a very long time to reach half way then it stops and says expires.

View 1 RepliesEven on a strong wifi connection, I'm not able to. Everyone else that has an iPhone I've asked about this hasn't had this problem at all.

A few times I've had the send/receive data arrows show up in the corner except the arrow is only one sided (pointing upward). Anyways I was just wondering what it could mean cuz the arrow stays there for hours and nothing comes in like an sms, mms, phone call, etc. I've done battery pulls to get rid of the arrow.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to call someone/send a text it either doesn't send or I get call failed after about 5-10 seconds. Last night it kept saying SOS in the top corner, even when I had signal. I tried rebooting it but it would say vodafone UK for about 30 seconds after a reboot and the go to SOS. My bbm is working fine, so im not quite sure what the problem is. today it worked for a bit and within the last hour it has reverted back to doing it agai, but it doesnt say SOS.

View 6 Replies View RelatedOn my Blackberry bold 9000 since last night (approximately) I have not been receiving e-mails however I am still able to send e-mails.On the diagnostics check everything came back as yes apart from connected to e-mail, however this is the first time this has happened and I have confirmed that I have entered the correct log in details. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening as I would have thought that if I wasn't connected to my e-mail account that I would not have been able to send e-mails? Any help would be appreciated, I am a UK Vodafone user.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I just recently upgraded from the curve 8310 to the new bold 9700 on att literally two days ago and i love it! But one problem i'am having trouble with sending and receiving text messages. I have called att customer care numerous times and powered cycled my phone as many times as I can count but still nothing, I have also checked to see if the "service center" number is correct and it is, I still have no clue what it could be. When i send an sms text message and scroll up to the message it says "sent" and the date and time but i ask the recipient if he/she has received the text but still nothing.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy 4 month old Blackberry Bold 9700 bought through Bell Mobility stopped working 2-3 weeks ago; was unable to send/receive calls or text even with the signal strength indicator showing full strength and the 3G symbol showing. Returned the phone to Bell Mobility for repairs and the phone was returned after about 2 weeks, but still not working. We could not find any scratch at all on the glass that covers the LCD display, and phone does not work, so have to wonder if they looked at the right phone. I Called the Bell Mobility service center, and they had the tech at the store reload the software again, third time this was done, still not working. Also reloading software on my phone apparently takes much longer than normal, about one hour.
Tech support at Bell finally told me the phone was not fixable, and gave me a ticket number to get a replacement phone through the Bell Mobility premium plan warranty I had purchased. Called thinking I would finally get a phone that works, but the insurance company that deals with the Bell Mobility warranty said that because the phone is under the one year manufacturers warranty they would not cover it, and it would cost me $150 if they were to replace the phone.
The customer service lady would not tell me what revisit means, but it seems to mean I will not be getting a working Blackberry any time soon. RIM also does not seem to offer or honor a warranty? I find it hard to believe that RIM offers no customer support or warranty on their Blackberry products, but could not find any information on a warranty in the booklets that came with the phone. Either way, the service rep at RIM told me they do not offer warranty repair services for their products and I would have to deal with the company that sold me the phone, Bell Mobility. These Blackberry phones are not cheap, so I cant really afford to buy a few of them for back up.
I'm having two issues with texting on my Blackberry Bold 9700.
1-I can't send or receive texts from certain contacts (right now it only seems to be from my boyfriend, we're both on At&t).
2-My text threads lock-up. A new text comes in, but I can't actually open the message. I can open all the previous messages, but any message at the top won't open.
I Cannot send pictures or receive them via iMessage cella data ,data roaming and 3G all switched on

The Problem:
Sometime in the past couple of days I stopped receiving SMS text messages properly. Though I was able to send and receive text messages as recently as Monday (the 1st, and this writing is on the 3rd of February) I find I am unable to receive them at present. This problem is complicated by a few tests I have done. With my phone right in front of me and another phone in my hand, I have sent a text message to my phone (from the other phone) and witnessed my phone make the loading sign in the upper right-hand corner (the little double-arrow that pops up when one is receiving data). No new message appears in my joint inbox and no "new message" icon pops up on my home screen. When I try to select the SMS inbox folder in the 'Select Folder' option in the menu in my messaging application, absolutely nothing happens.
I am also encountering oddities when I send SMS messages - though I am able to send them. When I complete an SMS text message and select 'Send', the message, though it is sending, may sometimes stay up on the screen as though I did not send it. When I select 'Send' again, it does disappear from the screen but does not display it sending in my inbox (it normally shows the message as sending, it receives a checkmark when sent, and then it disappears; as I set it up to). I can, however, access the SMS Outbox folder.
Finally, though I think this is unrelated, when my phone starts up from having the battery removed - which I did try - I receive a message stating "Uncaught exception:java.lang.NullPointerException". The first time I received this message was upon waking up one morning, as though it had occurred sometime during the night, and I dismissed it as unimportant as it did not seem to mess with the functioning of my Blackberry.
I do not have any backups to restore my phone to, as I just updated my computer to Windows 7 and cleared the majority of the hard drive in doing so. Also, I just, today, updated my phone to the latest version of all my applications.
I have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.
In Manage Connections >> Services Status, it says:

I have the Curve 3G and am unable to send/receive MMS.I figure it's because of the default settings but I cannot find the MMS settings anywhere. Normally it is right under the options menu but when I go to my options, all it has are: Sounds and Ring Tones, Networks and Connections, Display, Typing and Input, Device, Call Management, Security, Accessibility, and Third Party Applications.I have tried to find the MMS settings under these but cannot.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have been unable to receive email on my phone now for days. I initially did a batttery pull and this was unsuccessful. I have done everything possible, that I know of, to fix it on my own. I ended up doing a security wipe and now I cannot send emails either. When I try to send an email i get this message "no message services configured. You will be directed to the setup wizard to setup your email account". However, my email is already set up and I have deleted and readded it, with no luck. I have gone to my service provider- Bell- and they were unable to help me and said that I woudl have to contact Blackberry directly. I have no landline so I would have to go somewhere else in order to call so I can look at my phone at the same time.

I'm having issues with my 4s email.I can receive but not send emails.I've already checked with my network provider who told me to contact my email providers.I then double checked with them what was the outgoing smtp server address which were correct.Still have issues though.Could this be an Icloud issue or does anyone know what to do, before I thow this phone in the bin!!!
