BB Software :: Unable To Receive Emails But Can Send Them
Jan 26, 2012
My emails suddenly stopped arriving overnight. I have tried the two fixes previously suggested via the community - reboot and send service books, but with no joy despite receiving a message from the activation server that I would begin to receive new messages in apporx 20 minutes.
I received a message from Blackberry saying emails not being delivered & to validate my password but when i try to log into my email account or settings i keep being told my username & or password are wrong! Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to resolve it
I'm suddenly unable to receive or send emails on my stupid BB. I'm told the account is invalid. All of a sudden. For no reason.I ', told I have to come here and reset my email account. Why?Nothing's changed.I haven't downloaded anything new to my phone. When I go the SET UP option and click on email account to try and fiox it, the phone freezes and I have to reboot.
The issue is i am not able to Send & Receive email to my domain from my BlackBerry. When we try to send email to [url].. using BlackBerry email doesnt come to my email server, at the same time if i send email to Yahoo/Gmail or any other server its goes.Similarly while receiving emails i am able to receive emails from other domains on BlackBerry but not from my domain. But i am able to receive same email on my Webmail or Outlook or Any Other email client.
I'm having issues with my 4s email.I can receive but not send emails.I've already checked with my network provider who told me to contact my email providers.I then double checked with them what was the outgoing smtp server address which were correct.Still have issues though.Could this be an Icloud issue or does anyone know what to do, before I thow this phone in the bin!!!
My Blackberry Torch 9800 is unable to access or send emails nor can i access email settings. The problem started 3-days ago. Rebooting makes no difference. Why would this suddenly start happening?
Let the guy in the store "sync" with Desktop Manager. No link through enterprise server until I can get to office computer but that's ok. I am trying to work through MSN account. But it won't receive emails, it won't send emails and it won't let me change the set up. When I go into setup, it asks for the user name and password. I use my msn user name (inclusive of the @msn.com) and it says it is too short and must be 4 characters! It is! If I leave off the @msn.com, it says my info is wrong.
And I can't figure out how to remove the email account so I can try setting it up again.I did try to set up my gmail account - same issue.
I did a software upgrade and on completion it wiped out my email account so I can't send or receive emails on my BB but I can send and receive from my desktop. When I try to log on from my BB it won't recognize my email or password. Do I need to re-set some settings?
My blackbery will send emails but will not receive them. It worked fine for about 6 months, but now there are problems. Have tried setting up email account again, pulling battery, and sending service books.
So I've had my Curve 9300 for about a week, and until now it has been able to receive emails (at least those sent to me gmail account) absolutely fine. As of yesterday 1am, the 30 or so emails sent to my gmail haven't appeared on my Blackberry. If I try to send a message I get the standard 'packet error' message. I've googled for various solutions, but they all seem directed at users with older blackberries, so I haven't been able to use them.
I just bought a blackberry Curve, 8530. I had my email set up at the store and even got my blackberry registration email. However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured". That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry. I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up. But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done.
I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone. I am a bit of an electrical gimp.
My Iphone 4 is new, and I have been able to send and receive texts, but cannot send nor receive emails. I get the message that I need to input my password for my yahoo account which I've done many times. When I type messagefor outgoing it only allows me to save as a draft.
I can receive e mails but cant send. I am using freeuk.com. I have looked at all support articles and confirmed my settings are correct but any attempt to send a message is being diverted straight to out box
Just set up my 4s last night - works fine at home but can't get or send email at the office.Wi-fi connection working and signal is good and telephone and Internet functions working. Manually set to my company's wi-fi.
I can send emails but not receive them and it would appear that all my settings are correct. I have been in contact with Virgin Mobile technical department on numerous occasions and although the latest advice was to do a security wipe I was reluctant to do so hoping that there would be a more simple way to rectify the problem.
I recently replaced my blackberry 8250 with a blackberry 9350. Before doing so I transferred all my emails onto my new phone. But now when I try to send a message theres a red X and it says 'Transaction error-failure at service'...I haven't received anything either since I switched phones
Last night my battery went dead on my phone. I charged it overnight and this morning I can not send or receive emails. I can send and receive text but not email. Can't go online for anything. Manage connections shows a check in Mobile Network and a green check after my provider name. It also shows a check and WI Fi on and in the box at the end of that is a dash. Bluetooth is off. When I click services statuses under Blackberry internet Services it shows NOT Connected. I'm not sure how to turn this on.
Is anyone else still having problems sending and receiving emails? I know there was a problem earlier today, but I still can't send or receive emails. Does anyone have any idea when this will be resolved
Since some days ago a circle with a crossed line is shown in my Nokia E71 phone, just at a side of the battery logo, and since that I cannot send or receive emails. My questions are: What does that circle with the crossed line means? and How to do for receiving and sending emails again?
I cant send or receive emails on my Blackberry. I use gmail. I have tried messing with the settings, but I can't even access the web2go right now when I attempt to go into my email settings. It gives me an error message that says, "The site cannot be accessed in this manner. use the URL or link provided to you by your service provider." I have no idea what link they are talking about. I have tried a soft and hard reset to no avail, and can't find a solution online. Admittedly anything more than a reset is beyond my current knowledge.
Here are details about my setup: Blackberry Curve 8520 Carrier: T-Mobile with data plan OS v4.6.1.259 (Platform 4.2.0.116) email: gmail
I stopped receiving emails from my hotmail accont to my phone yesterday and then had a message from blackberry saying I needed to validate my email, which I did fine and also registered my blackberry ID. However, I still cannot send or receive my emais and when I try to send it comes up with an error message: 'User account is in INVALID mode'. I did change my hotmail password the other day; don't know if this is of importance. In addition, I have tried to modify the email account set up on my blackberry but it will not allow me to access the current account settings or allow me to add a new account, the option just doesn't exist or appear, which had not been an issue up until now. I could, however, set up an enterprise account if wanted. I am not sure who to contact about this so thought I'd post here first...
I can no longer send/recieve emails on my blackberry storm, however, i can make phone calls, send texts and talk to contacts on my bbm.I cannot connect to the email settings page and I am registered with the wireless network.Any suggestions would be helpful.
