I am not able to recieve any files via Bluetooth from other mobiles..though I am pairing each of the devices. It throws the error message in other mobiles that 'Connection failed'. I have a Curve 9360. I paired my phone to my PC, and have done so several times in an attempt to solve this problem, but to no avail. The problem is that while I can send files from my phone to my PC via bluetooth, I can't do vice versa. Everytime I try to send a file from my PC to my phone, the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard says,"The file transfer failed because the receiving Bluetooth computer or device did not respond. If you sent the file to another computer, that computer must be running the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard. f you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed.'m pretty sure that everything's enabled (Bluetooth discoverable on the phone, on the computer, etc). So what could possibly be the problem, and how can I fix it (if I even can)?
I am unable to either receive or send any file via Bluetooth, When a another device sees me and tries to send, It asks for passcode, which i create a 4 digit, in matter of seconds it times out and looses connection. Similarly when i trie to send a file from my device strom 2, i can never select other devices at all.

I am using curve 9300 3g OS 6.0 and having difficulties in receiving pictures from my friends andriod phone. I tried to look around for a solution but couldn't find. i am aware on how to activate bluetooth/pairing/encryption etc. also couldn't find any option " like receive media via bluetooth " in oS 6.0 which i see others have suggested.

I am unable to receive videos via Bluetooth because when I go Media >>>> Media Type >>>> Options, I don't see the "Receive via Bluetooth option. My Bluetooth is turned on and our phones are paired, but the menu option is missing on my phone. What could be wrong, and how can I fix it, will doing a factory reset to reset the phone back to v5 and then reinstalling 6 OS fix this problem.

I have a Nokia 5800 XM. I am not able to receive any file via Bluetooth if that file is not openable by Nokia. ie., if I receive a jpg or mp3 file, it receives fine, and when I open it from Messages, it tries to open it, and then I save it from the Message to the Gallery. But when I try to receive some other type of files which is not supported by the mobile, it receives the message, but it fails to open the bluetooth message and as a result, I am not able to save it to the Mass Memory. It says Un supported files. Say for instance, I am trying to receive a docx (Microsoft Word) file, then I face this problem. Is there any way to save the file directly to any folder in memory without trying to open the received message?Had it been some protected files like .SIS or .SISX then I would agree, but It's bad if I am not able to receive general files.
I have the Blackberry curve 8520 and version 4.6. Is installed.Whenever I have installed themes I wasn't able to read SMS anymore. Actually the red light gets on (which shows all notifications) and a SMS symbol can be seen on the display, but when I look for the SMS it doesn't appear. The only way I can read new SMS are that I write a SMS on my own to be able to read the SMS I just got before! Besides I have to click twice on it until it really opens the SMS.I've even uninstalled these Themes, but nothing changed.
For the last couple of hours I have not been able to send or receive emails on my device. I have rebooted without any success. When I go into Message Options, Email Account Management, It checks for updates, Connecting to email settings ... I then get the message Your device had a problem connecting to the server
I am also trouble using some apps as I get the Local connection timout out after ~ 120000
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can solve this issue
I have the Curve 3G and am unable to send/receive MMS.I figure it's because of the default settings but I cannot find the MMS settings anywhere. Normally it is right under the options menu but when I go to my options, all it has are: Sounds and Ring Tones, Networks and Connections, Display, Typing and Input, Device, Call Management, Security, Accessibility, and Third Party Applications.I have tried to find the MMS settings under these but cannot.
