View 1 RepliesFor the last couple of hours I have not been able to send or receive emails on my device. I have rebooted without any success. When I go into Message Options, Email Account Management, It checks for updates, Connecting to email settings ... I then get the message Your device had a problem connecting to the server
I am also trouble using some apps as I get the Local connection timout out after ~ 120000
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can solve this issue
I am not receiving emails on my Blackberry Curve.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI stopped receiving emails on my 8530 and after a complete restore, I started receiving emails for only one email addresses, but not the other two I use. Since I've done a complete restore, I'm not sure what else I can do.

I'm told the account is invalid.All of a sudden.For no reason.I ', told I have to come here and reset my email account.Why?Nothing's changed.I haven't downloaded anything new to my phone.When I go the SET UP option and click on email account to try and fiox it, the phone freezes and I have to reboot.

However, at this time I am able to send emails, just not receive.I have tried several battery reboots. I have tried to go under options to "Host Routing Table" and then "Register Now." I went back and forth several times with my carrier, but the latter was unable to help. I have not been able to send OR receive emails for the past month. .. I am able to make and receive phone calls and SMSs, but I primarily use my BB to send and receive emails...
Yesterday, a friend tried something: he deleted my account and created a new one. I can now SEND emails from my BB, but I cannot RECEIVE emails. N.B. My BB and Outlook mail are fully synchronized.
I seem to have lost all internet connection and the letters GSM keep appearing in the top right hand corner
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have set up two e-mail accounts on my new Blackberry 8520 Curve. A Gmail account which works fine and a Demon account. I can send e-mails on the Demon account but not receive e-mails. During the set up procedure I had to add the mail server details (pop3.demon.co.uk) and password.I have also received an e-mail from Orange (my carrier) asking me to update my password as messages from my e-mail address are not being delivered to the Blackberry device. When I do this nothing happens and it reverts to the email accounts screen which now shows the demon account as invalid. I have also tried to validate it by entering the password but again it reverts to the e-mail accounts screen.

I was able to send and receive emails for about 3 days, then I suddenly stopped receving emails.I can send email from my outlook address, my Sent Items appear and my Outlook calendar items appear on the blackberry calendar.I'm just not receiving emails through the Inbox.I've contacted my carrier and my IT department at work, but no one can figure out why I'm not getting emails on the Curve.The usual fixes aren't working.

I have had the activation notice saying they will start in a about 20mins, that was 12 hrs ago. The IT dept where I work has checked everything out but their only solution is to wipe the whole blackberry and start over. I would love to avoid this. They checked my settings and tried them in another device and it worked fine.

I spent 4 hours on the phone today with Verizon trying to figure out why only certain emails come to my device. I've updated the service books, tables, deleted my email account, created a new one, books and tables again, pulled the battery, everything. Nothing seems to work.I was getting all my emails last week and over the weekend I've just started to get only a few (call it 2/7 on average). Can anyone help me with what is going on?! This is very frustrating and the Verizon guys are about as helpful as rocks.

i updated my Iphone and IPAD2 to IOS 5.1 and my Godaddy IMAP email is not recieving emails on my apple devices or syncing with the Godaddy server. I've spent hours with Apple and Godaddy tech support and they point the finger at each other. Anyone else having a problem after this update? We've tried resetting the network, deleting and adding the email accounts, etc. This same problem occurs on the IPAD3 when I tested setting up the email account in the store today. Something is wrong with IOS 5.1.Godaddy tech emailed me saying that they're hearing the same problems with Yahoo and other users now.

I'm having issues with my 4s email.I can receive but not send emails.I've already checked with my network provider who told me to contact my email providers.I then double checked with them what was the outgoing smtp server address which were correct.Still have issues though.Could this be an Icloud issue or does anyone know what to do, before I thow this phone in the bin!!!

I hope there is some one on here who can point me in the right direction.I have not been able to receive emails on my hand set since November last year via the BB application, I was using my Google, but this has now stopped, so I'm using my HTC for mail. When I go to email setup I am asked for a user name & password, I have tried my email details & my blackberry details, but none work.
