Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Can't Receive Files Coming From Other Devices Using Bluetooth?
May 9, 2011
I wonder why is it that I can't receive files from other devices thru bluetooth, though I already updated it to 2.1 and my bluetooth is already switched on. What should I do? Is it really like that? Do I need to download other stuffs first before I'll be able to receive datas such as pictures, songs, etc.?
I am able to send files via Bluetooth but cannot receive, when I try to search for my phone using my friends phone it doesnt detect my phone. I am using all the right settings i have set the phone to visible nothing seems to work.
After going through the update where it said that we could go now directly send and receive files using bluetooth but then I still can't seem to be able to use it. I have the options to send the files but whenever I do so it would say file transfer failed to the other phone I"m sending the file to. At bluetooth settings, it says 'paired but not connected'. Prior to update I was able to receive files but after so I can do neither.
I´m the owner of a fantastic and great Xperia Mini (ST15i). I´ve been using it for 4 months, and it works and navigates really good. My prior mobile was the old Xperia X10 Mini (ST10i), another fantastic mini mobile phone.
The thing is that with my old ST10i, there was not problem for discovering the Handsfree Bluetooth of my Audi A4 2.0 TDI DPF 143CV (from the 2009), but my current ST17i doesn´t discover it by any means.
is there any Application (Android) for it in order to discover more BT Handsfrees, allowing me to discover and pair it my A4?.
1) Camera is not working, i am not able to capture any pics....when i open the camera it is showing out of memory error.(I am having enoungh space in memory card) even though i am getting this error.

I got a problem with the bluetooth. I can send files with it but I can't receive them. My phone can be seen by everyone when bluetooth are active, I accept the file that other people want to share and then a message such as "connection failed" or similar, appear on the phone of the other people. Someone told me that I should reset the phone, is it the right solution? Is a backup necessary before the reset? I need to transfer some job files.
I am not able to recieve any files via Bluetooth from other mobiles..though I am pairing each of the devices. It throws the error message in other mobiles that 'Connection failed'. I am able to send to other devices via bluetooth but am unable to recieve from them, neither I am able to pair with my personal laptop for bluetooth transfer. My bluetooth version is 1.1.
I have a Curve 9360. I paired my phone to my PC, and have done so several times in an attempt to solve this problem, but to no avail. The problem is that while I can send files from my phone to my PC via bluetooth, I can't do vice versa. Everytime I try to send a file from my PC to my phone, the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard says,"The file transfer failed because the receiving Bluetooth computer or device did not respond. If you sent the file to another computer, that computer must be running the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard. f you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed.'m pretty sure that everything's enabled (Bluetooth discoverable on the phone, on the computer, etc). So what could possibly be the problem, and how can I fix it (if I even can)?
i am not able to send and receive files on my nokia 701 through Bluetooth...except one of my another nokia c5-03 on which i am only able to send the files but cannot receive from that also.
sent an off market file to my phone via bluetooth which did not install because i had not unchecked the 'install off market' applications.after that i now cant find the files location to install it.
Whenever I try to get the files from my other phone I just cant use bluetooth. It just say paired but not connected and when I try to connect it will not work..
When turning on the bluetooth on my Xperia Z3 I get a few devices. When using my Galaxy S II however, I get many more, and it picks up my bluetooth headphones as well. So this seems to be the issue with my Z3. What to do to see all the bluetooth devices?
My cousin (she has a Samsung Gravity) was saying we can share files through bluetooth? I remember doing it on my Sidekick, but now I can only receive files, not send?
