When turning on the bluetooth on my Xperia Z3 I get a few devices. When using my Galaxy S II however, I get many more, and it picks up my bluetooth headphones as well. So this seems to be the issue with my Z3. What to do to see all the bluetooth devices?

Does anybody have a solution on how to pair the Lumia with other devices via bluetooth ? I understand from reading other listings on this discussions pages that windows mobile does not work with bluetooth? I have tried my MacBook Pro, E72 as well as my cars built in satnav system and keep on getting a message that they are not compatible..There is nothing in the brochure stating that bluetooth does not function as it should & I told by the sales staff that all Nokia devices were compatible regarding bluetooth.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI´m the owner of a fantastic and great Xperia Mini (ST15i). I´ve been using it for 4 months, and it works and navigates really good. My prior mobile was the old Xperia X10 Mini (ST10i), another fantastic mini mobile phone.
The thing is that with my old ST10i, there was not problem for discovering the Handsfree Bluetooth of my Audi A4 2.0 TDI DPF 143CV (from the 2009), but my current ST17i doesn´t discover it by any means.
is there any Application (Android) for it in order to discover more BT Handsfrees, allowing me to discover and pair it my A4?.
Up until around a week ago I streamed Spotify to bluetooth devices (speakers, headphones, Ford Sync in my car) with no issues but now I either can't stream Audio at all (with Sync) or it cuts out and stops playing (speakers).

I have an Xperia Z3 (model D6603)Â on Android v 5.1.1 with no pending software updates. I've run a diagnostic on Bluetooth which passed.
Is that I have a pair of Wireless Beats headphones. When I scan for Bluetooth devices on my N5 It can't find my headset. I used my Ipad to search for the headset and that picked it up fine. I could even pick up my Ipad Bluetooth using my N5.. (Also note; I have never connected my headset to N5 before)
What I have tried to fix the problem.
-Reset Bluetooth settings
-Factory restore headset
-Connected headset to another device perfectly
-Changed the N5 Bluetooth name
-Reboot on both devices
-Changed WiFi off
-Changed WiFi frequency
-Tried various "Bluetooth Routing" apps
I wonder why is it that I can't receive files from other devices thru bluetooth,though I already updated it to 2.1 and my bluetooth is already switched on. What should I do? Is it really like that? Do I need to download other stuffs first before I'll be able to receive datas such as pictures, songs, etc.?

It's happened to me before when pairing with a new device then once disconnecting the device the Bluetooth won't turn back on again. Some how in the past I was able to get it working again but not this time.

Have had brand new phone purchased through retail store for 1 week and WIFI tethering does not work. Â Other devices can connect to the phone but cannot get access to internet. Until about 2 months ago the phone started intermittedly turning off, I would press the power button to switch back on which wouldnt work for about 5 minutes. Battery was fully charged, software was all up to date. After advice from customer support I performed a factory reset and the same problems occured

Since then I have put the phone in for repair and it came back after a couple of days with the fix notes of "software reset"

The phone worked again for a couple of weeks but recently has started to do the exact same thing. I've just put it in for repair again after going over all of the same questions and scenario's as I did the first time around
When I set my alarm in the evening and turn off my phone, the phone is not able to ring the alarm in the morning. This is a problem as I use my xperia x8 as my alarm clock which in turn means that I can never turn my phone off and that I have to trust that the phone does not turn off by itself in the night (which it sometimes does) to be sure to get up in the morning if I have important meetings etc. This seems R&D wise a step back as my old sony ericsson w880i could do exactly this

Almost every morning when I check my phone it has turned of the "phone feature" by it self, and by phone feature I mean the way to be able to make or recieve a phone call. I tried extending the sleep time but regardless of the time chosen it turns off the screen within 3 seconds. I then turned off Stamina mode and it seems to be fine now. But now my battery will die faster without stamina mode. The long lasting battery is why I chose an Xperia Z3.
