Xperia Mini/pro :: Discovering And Pairing Bluetooth Devices?
Oct 1, 2012
I´m the owner of a fantastic and great Xperia Mini (ST15i). I´ve been using it for 4 months, and it works and navigates really good. My prior mobile was the old Xperia X10 Mini (ST10i), another fantastic mini mobile phone.
The thing is that with my old ST10i, there was not problem for discovering the Handsfree Bluetooth of my Audi A4 2.0 TDI DPF 143CV (from the 2009), but my current ST17i doesn´t discover it by any means.
is there any Application (Android) for it in order to discover more BT Handsfrees, allowing me to discover and pair it my A4?.
I'm having trouble getting my X10 mini pro to pair with my laptop via bluetooth so thought I'd post here for some help. I've no problem connecting via USB.In 'Settings' -> 'Wireless & Network Settings' -> 'Bluetooth Settings' -> 'Bluetooth Devices' my laptop is visible, and underneath it says 'Pair with this device. When I press that I have a Bluetooth pairing request, which says 'To pair YOUR PC, confirm that it is showing the passkey: 123456' (number changes each time). I choose the 'Pair' option but keep getting back 'Attention - There was a problem pairing with YOUR PC because the pin or passkey is incorrect.' How do I enter this passkey? I get the feeling there's a simple solution to this that I'm missing. I've paired the phone with both the MBS 100 and 200 with no problems at all. The laptop is a Sony Vaio and bluetooth is definitely on - is there a compatibility issue between the two?
I discovered that my curve 8520's bluetooth can find other devices like nokia, samsung, etc that have bluetooth too when they are ON but does not pair with them therefore could not receive or transfer file with other phones. How should I go about it.
I wonder why is it that I can't receive files from other devices thru bluetooth, though I already updated it to 2.1 and my bluetooth is already switched on. What should I do? Is it really like that? Do I need to download other stuffs first before I'll be able to receive datas such as pictures, songs, etc.?
I paired my z3 with the bluetooth device of my Land Rover. The first time, the z3 ask me the security code that I wrote and all was good.
The system of my car didn't ask a code cause for the Land Rover the code is 2121 for each device. But I must write the code each time that I'm getting in my car. Other devices is connecting automatically after a first paring but with my z3 not.
I have been trying out the new Bose Soundlink with my Droid X and they are really cool. Problem is I bought them to go with my Xoom and when I try to connect to Bose SoundLink it fails to find it. Normally I would blame the speaker but since it worked with my Droid X I tend to think that it may be the operating system HoneyComb.
Since I installed the latest build 2.1.A.0.435 I am unable to use my Sony headset MW600 with my X10. I tried calling myself or dialing out to locate the bluetooth button but have been unsuccessful at this moment.
When i try to pair my Desktop and my Xperia Active vÃa Bluetooth, i always get two different pairing codes (i'm using the assistant from windows 7 64bits) on the screen of my Active it shows a code, and my PC shows another completly different, no matter how many times i tried, is always the same, and is imposible for me to connect my smartphone to my PC.
I want to connect my xperia pro to my car audio system. (Bluetooth of my car audio system has a pairing code) when I want to connect, the page of entering pairing code not appear and an error will appear in screen ("wrong pairing code").
Whenever I try to get the files from my other phone I just cant use bluetooth. It just say paired but not connected and when I try to connect it will not work..
When turning on the bluetooth on my Xperia Z3 I get a few devices. When using my Galaxy S II however, I get many more, and it picks up my bluetooth headphones as well. So this seems to be the issue with my Z3. What to do to see all the bluetooth devices?
Up until around a week ago I streamed Spotify to bluetooth devices (speakers, headphones, Ford Sync in my car) with no issues but now I either can't stream Audio at all (with Sync) or it cuts out and stops playing (speakers). Â I use Stamina Mode but have both Spotify & Bluetooth Sharing activated in sleep. Â I have an Xperia Z3 (model D6603)Â on Android v 5.1.1 with no pending software updates. I've run a diagnostic on Bluetooth which passed.
I friend of mine just bought an iPhone 4S unlocked. He doens't have an internet plan yet, so I decided to pair my iPhone 3GS via bluetooth to share my internet connection. But to our surprise, neither of our iPhones could "find" each other. How can that be? I shared my iPhone connection with my Macbook, Mac mini and iPod touch by bluetooth pairing and it always worked.
Have an iPhone 5 with IOS 7.1.2 and MBA with IOS 10.9.4I can not pair them via BTWhen the MBA finds the iPhone it sends the numeric code which is received OK by the iPhone. When I accept it the iPhone is listed as Connected in the BT menu of the MBA. For a couple a seconds. It then shows as not connected. In the phone the MBA is listed as NOT CONNECTED, of course. When I touch the MBA in the list of devices of the Bluetooth screen in the iPhone a pop-up tells me the MBA is not compatible. I have tried with airplane mode, turning BT off and on, and several combinations thereof with no result.
I have an E71 phone purchased from UAE and was working pretty well till i got the phone updated to the latest 510.21.009. The phone started giving problems thereafter.Initilly i found the phone not responding after installing whatsapp. I removed that program and the phone was fine. It restarts in between without any reason. The latest problem is that the bluetooth pairing menu is missing in the bluetooth option. It used to be a secondary tab on the right hand side of the main menu. Now its missing.
I have an iPhone 3GS running OS4. I recently purchased a Billionton bluetooth audio receiver that is supposed to connect with the iPhone through bluetooth and has RCA line-level outputs to connect into my stereo. The idea was to be able to listen to music on my iPhone wirelessly through my home stereo.
I cannot get the iPhone to "discover" or find the bluetooth receiver. I have connected wireless headsets to my iPhone in the past and all I have had to do was put the device in pairing mode and the iPhone would automatically find it once I entered the bluetooth menu on the iPhone. I tried my wife's Blackberry and it seemed to be able to pair and connect to the receiver without problem.
The receiver is a Bluetooth v1.2 compliant, Class 1 Radio. It supports A2DP. The model of the receiver is a Billionton GMHSBTAR.
I am unable to pair my device to my new Ford vehicle SYNC bluetooth system. When I search for the pin number that SYNC sends me and I enter that number into the block the block directly under the pin number block reads "empty" so I have no way to send back to SYNC the pin they have sent me in order to pair my device to the SYNC system in my vehicle
I got my G3 back in February - within about a week of getting it, Lollipop came through & I never felt the need to do a factory reset since everything was working fine. But being the curious creature that I am, I've been wondering if anything would be different if I did a FDR, so last week I did one.
Tonight when I tried to pair my heart rate monitor again, instead of double-checking what password I needed to re-pair it with my phone, I guessed wrong. It's not coming up with an option to put in the password again, just asks me Yes/No if I want to retry after it fails.
Any way to get the "enter password" option again, without doing another FDR?
I just got my G4 and I'm having trouble with the Bluetooth pairing. I have a 2011 sonata and I can pair it fine but my it won't download my phone book, also when I have it dial a number it drops people. I got a Bluetooth stereo that won't pair with it keep getting a bad passkey or id number. These all worked fine with my G3 and had no trouble.
I purchased an Iogear USB Micro Adapter Model GBU421WM to try and transfer things from my computer to the phone. After updating the Bluetooth software and trying several times to pair my phone with my computer nothing would happen. It would sit with the serial number window up even after I typed the serial number in several times.I have tried making the phone see the computer and vice versa, and nothing has worked yet. Yet it does know the phone is there and the phone talks to the computer. Just pairing will not occur. So my question is: Is it even possible or am I missing something to make my phone/computer talk through Bluetooth.I have a StraightTalk Samsung R451C Phone.
I used to pair my iPad2 with my iPhone 4S (both iOS 5.1) using Bluetooth. Not working anymore.I can pair the iPad to a BT keyboard; 2) The connection was usually started from the iPad; 3) The iPhone doesn`t always find Bluetooth devices around (the other day, a rented car BT recognized my iPhone and I was able to pair them); 3) Both the iPad and iPhone do not find my iPod touch (iOS 5.1; 64 Gb)...
I have a different problem than I've seen here, all of the BT posts seem to be about difficulty pairing or having a phone and a BT device auto-connect.
My issue is that after connection... even after making calls successfully... my phone and my car will to stop communicating. Both devices continue to indicate they are still paired... but calls do not come in through the car, nor can the calls be initiated through the car's controls. Thusly, the stereo remains on (sometimes loudly) and I miss calls when the phone rings. The connection is gone, even though both devices never reported loosing it. This happens about 30% of the time when I'm in my car more than 15 minutes or so.
I have a 4S running iOS 5.1... this is my third iPhone and my last. It is the 2nd iPhone I've used in this car... a 2011 VW CC. I've also had no issues with other BT 4.0 phones, a blackberry and a samsung.
Additionally the genious bar has replaced my phone once already, even though they couldn't find any hardware issues. Subsequently they did a complete reset on the replacement, again finding no hardware issues. It was then set up as a new phone, and not restored from a backup. Volkswagen has tested the car's BT unit against their test iPhone 4 with no issues, even after leaving it connected for the duration of a 20k service.
I just purchased a Zoom 4322 (bluetooth adaptor) for my Canon iP100 printer. My MB pro late 2011 running 10.7.4. MBP saw the printer immediately and connected. However my iphone 4s running 5.1.1 doesn't see the printer with the Zoom 4322.
