Xperia Z3 :: Bluetooth Not Turning On
May 22, 2015My Bluetooth turned off the other night and will not turn on at all for anything, even after a full wipe and install with Sony companion. It's happened to me before when pairing with a new device then once disconnecting the device the Bluetooth won't turn back on again. Some how in the past I was able to get it working again but not this time.

Apr 17, 2015I am using my xperia Z3 to connect with my helmet using the bluetooth connection.
At the begining, when I bought the xperia Z3, when pressing the helmet button to make a request to the phone, the "google lady" was asking about if I want to make a call or anything, it worked out, it was working as expected, but since the phone requested me to make some updates in the apps (also the google app), the google thing does not work anymore. It works the music, it works the google maps and navigation but If I want to "talk to the phone" the google lady says (in spanish "espera") "wait", a grey screen appears with the word "initializing" and actually does nothing. In a nutshell, the google thing does not work using blueetooth anymore. Then I have to stop to drive and manually make the call which is not ideal when you are travelling...

Only show device phisical adress and nothing more. When my phone was with Android 4.4.4 there was no problem to comunicate with this device. My other two phones (Xperia P and Xperia L, both with android JB) has no problems to communicate with device or to each other.

Jul 5, 2012I have an Xperia PLAY R800at with 2.3.3. Whenever I'm using my bluetooth device and reconnect to my wifi network, I lose bluetooth packets for 5-6 seconds. This does not happen when I compare against the Nexus S sitting right next to the Xperia PLAY.
This is a really bad problem, and is probably going to result in me not using my PLAY at all.

Oct 3, 2014Playing my music in my car via bluetooth to the cars head unit has always worked ok until now.
When playing my music, it seems to break up, just like a bad connection to a radio station.
This happens with any kind of music on my phone, regardless if its a album on my phone on streaming a live radio station.
Every other related function seams to be ok.

However, I have noticed that whenever I get into my car and pair to my stero via bluetooth the audio is always never at 100% even though it was prior to the connection. I am assuming this is some half-baked health and safety issue with volume limiting but I am wondering if there is a setting somewhere I can disable for this. I have upgraded from Z3 compact to Z5 compact. Nothing else changed. Since then the synchronization is almost impossible. The syncing process fails after 30-60 seconds every time. If I am lucky the current training session can be uploaded to the mobile after 5-10 attempts.
Bluetooth HCI snoop log was fine on Z3 compact but not on Z5 compact. Wireshark detected some inconsistencies in the Z5C's bluetooth log: it has been cut short in the middle of a packet. So I think the bluetooth connection drops very often during data transfer.

"Plane mode" is unfortunately not an option as it doesn't allow listening to the radio... Simply, when I send MMS phone automatically turn on data connection. Same, when somebody send MMS to me, Wildfire S automatically turn on data connection and retrieve MMS. Now I am using Samsung Galaxy S2. I have to keep data connection always on if I want to send and receive MMS. I don't want data connection to be always on because I haven't flat data plan. I tried Quick Setting app. It change APN for internet and keeps data connection always on (do not modify MMS settings). At this way I can use MMS normally, but my battery drain for just 8 hours!

Oct 27, 2015So bluetooth has been turning it's self off randomly. When I try to connect my ps4 controller via bluetooth I connect and move around for 5 seconds then bluetooth turns off. It's not the controller because I can turn it on and sit at the bluetooth screen and wait abit, then it turns off for 1/2 seconds, says "turning on bluetooth" then repeats the cycle. I just updated to lollipop hoping it would fix it but no luck. I even did a factory reset. The BLE app didn't fix it either.
