Soo whenever I connect to any Bluetooth device my Xperia will end up blanking out or the wallpaper will stay but no buttons and the phone must reset. Then now that I use headphones the volume is very low to the point I can't hear much. I've done pcc I've reset it done safe mode nothing has worked.

However, I have noticed that whenever I get into my car and pair to my stero via bluetooth the audio is always never at 100% even though it was prior to the connection. I am assuming this is some half-baked health and safety issue with volume limiting but I am wondering if there is a setting somewhere I can disable for this. I use Google Play Music, Spotify and Pandora.

View 2 Replies View RelatedVery odd problem - I have a Bluetooth receiver (Headset+A2DP profiles) in my car which works best with the Bluetooth volume set at ~50-60%. Sometimes my Z3 will remember the previous setting (and I've tried to force it with smart connect) but often, and every time when i fire google now, it will jump back up to 100%.
I can't find anywhere in the setting to lock the bluetooth volume (either for this particular device, or overall) and restarts and clearing the audio settings cache haven't had any effect.
I've tried to connect my Z5 compact with my notebook with Windows 7. There's a bluetooth connection but gives a lot of errors in the device manager. Sony PC Companion 2.1 can't connect it also by bluetooth. I've tried to update my Windows, but that wasn't a solution. I have also updated my phone as well..

At the begining, when I bought the xperia Z3, when pressing the helmet button to make a request to the phone, the "google lady" was asking about if I want to make a call or anything, it worked out, it was working as expected, but since the phone requested me to make some updates in the apps (also the google app), the google thing does not work anymore. It works the music, it works the google maps and navigation but If I want to "talk to the phone" the google lady says (in spanish "espera") "wait", a grey screen appears with the word "initializing" and actually does nothing. In a nutshell, the google thing does not work using blueetooth anymore. Then I have to stop to drive and manually make the call which is not ideal when you are travelling...
I have problem with my bluethoot after update to 5.5.1. Other device is ODB II bluethoit dongle. It seems that phpne see other device, but can not communicate with it. Only show device phisical adress and nothing more. When my phone was with Android 4.4.4 there was no problem to comunicate with this device. My other two phones (Xperia P and Xperia L, both with android JB) has no problems to communicate with device or to each other.

Until I figured out turning off the Bluetooth solves the issue. Anyone experience this? I've got an Xperia Pro.My phone is connected by Bluetooth to all my appartment's handsets thanks to a Siemens Gigaset. It eliminates the need for a landline and of having to carry my phone or to run to it since I have three handsets across the house now to answer the phone, or to make calls. View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an Xperia PLAY R800at with 2.3.3. Whenever I'm using my bluetooth device and reconnect to my wifi network, I lose bluetooth packets for 5-6 seconds. This does not happen when I compare against the Nexus S sitting right next to the Xperia PLAY.
This is a really bad problem, and is probably going to result in me not using my PLAY at all.
Playing my music in my car via bluetooth to the cars head unit has always worked ok until now.
When playing my music, it seems to break up, just like a bad connection to a radio station.
This happens with any kind of music on my phone, regardless if its a album on my phone on streaming a live radio station.
Every other related function seams to be ok.
I use Polar Flow app to synchronize my training sessions from Polar V800 to the web: Polar V800 - bluetooth 4.0 - mobile - [URL] ....
I have upgraded from Z3 compact to Z5 compact. Nothing else changed. Since then the synchronization is almost impossible. The syncing process fails after 30-60 seconds every time. If I am lucky the current training session can be uploaded to the mobile after 5-10 attempts.
Bluetooth HCI snoop log was fine on Z3 compact but not on Z5 compact. Wireshark detected some inconsistencies in the Z5C's bluetooth log: it has been cut short in the middle of a packet. So I think the bluetooth connection drops very often during data transfer.
My E71 used to work fine in car hands free via bluetooth - now it pairs OK but then gives "unable to create bluetooth connection" message. Another E71 works fine.
I did try (twice) to e-mail Nokia care - each time I filled in all details only to get a Gateway timeout message when I tried to send it - and all details wiped out!
I've had problems connecting to any blue tooth aparatus. I've tried with a couple of headsets and then this week I had a problem connecting to the bluetooth in the Sonata I rented. The bluetooth will connect but almost immediately drop the bluetooth connection.

What is that screen blackout? This happens on short calls as well.
Since the blackout I cannot receive or send MMS messages! I have rebooted my BB but not sure what else to try

When I turn it on from the Camera button or Software button, doesnt matter I get, black screen and the settings marks of camera view on the screen. When shoot the picture from the button or the screen button, it does take the picture but it is very dark picture, even under a strong light and no colors but blue everything in the picture like a horror movie! When I insist taking photo during this condition, it all gets frozen and I hardly go back to phone and the phone requires a start up to be stabilized again. I get a frozen camera working behind and slows down everything. I have tryed reloading the symbian update, (Doesnt work) I have tryed to format MicroSD (even making it FAT32)

View 2 Replies View RelatedWell been a few hours with my new 950, I'm coming from a lumia 920 I had for 3 years and one major issue which is probably a WP10 bug is in several apps when you get an area that requires you to type in something the keyboard comes up and then the area you need to type in goes black like the entire background of the screen goes black so you can';t type anything in, sometimes the app out right crashes after that. This is making it difficult to do things.
One example is the loyalty card app, press to add a new card and try and type in a name and it does this, found this with several other apps to.
It seems that firmware "leaks" and posts from Devs on XDA are the only way of getting any information as there's precious little official information coming from Moto itself.I know a lot of people are eagerly awaiting ICS, but in the meantime its frustrating to know that Moto ARE working on updated (Gingerbread) firmware for the Razr given the fact that the leaked files DO exist.. many people, myself included, however.. are reluctant to flash leaked firmware even if it does appear to be very stable (from what I've read), and would rather wait for something "official" from Moto...The last "official" EN.EU firmware released was gratefully received late December with very little notification (651.73.30 I believe), but as I'm sure many of you have read there's also a 651.167.20 firmware floating around.. again, with a complete info blackout from Moto to their customers that there's even anything going on..
View 10 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I both have the m8. Her volume keeps changing whenever she engages her bluetooth. She turns on her bluetooth to listen to her music and it will beep and display, for a few seconds, headset plugged, volume adjusting and then lowers the volume. Then about 10 to 20 seconds later it will display the same thing and raise the volume. 10 to 20 seconds later same display, lowers volume, etc. without stopping until you turn off bluetooth. BTW, does not happen on my phone.

Also at random times the screen will go dark and will not come back on for a while but when somebody calls me it will ring but I can't answer it. View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is my second Triumph, while 1/2 of my issues were resolved because I got a replacement, the following are issues that are happening with both phones and I'm not sure if these issues will be fixed, or if there is something I can do on my end.
Phone volume - No matter what, the volume is low.... the other phone was way lower, on this one I can hear people, but its like my volume at 50% on my intercept. When the phone is being used as a phone, it sounds like the speaker is blown, on top of it being low. Speakerphone sounds ok, but still volume is low.
Bluetooth - I have tried this with 3 headsets, so its not the headset. When I connect, it will disconnect on its own sometimes reconnecting, but most of the time it doesn't. It will show the icon that it has a connection, but it doesn't (even if I turn the headset off, it still shows the icon is connected). And of course, volume, if its down to 50%, I can't hear anything.
Phone Dialer - If I try to use this to dial the phone, it sticks. So I have to press a 5, then wait for 10 seconds, then press a 2, then wait for 10 seconds, etc. Using speed dial.
WiFi - I have a strong wi-fi connection. It's a cable modem. But when I select my wi-fi, it says its connected, but I get connection errors when I try to get e-mail, go on you tube, etc. I have to restart my phone and then connect to get it to work.
I don't have much installed on the phone, and I have 893 mb remaining. I don't like my battery life getting killed, so I turn off my 3g and everything when I'm not using it and don't have apps running in the background. Battery life is lasting around 36 hours on a charge.
I have a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 Navigation DVD in my car and the bluetooth with my new iPhone 4 does not allow the volume to be adjusted, like I could do with the 3G iPhone.
So, the caller's voice is really loud and the echo is very bad. On the 3G I could use the volume buttons on the iPhone to turn down the caller's voice which made the echo mostly go away. Now, the volume buttons do nothing.
Anyone having problems with their jawbone or other headsets? I was thinking I may have to switch to one of those instead...?
So i have been having issues with the volume on spotify and maps. For example, if i have spotify playing in my car as well as google maps...i will hear the music perfectly but maps volume will be very low which i have raised the volume but it continues to return to low volume automatically. Yesterday i set directions in google maps but kept spotify off this time and i was able to hear the directions perfectly and the volume would remain at high level. This issue only occurs when both spotify and google maps are being used at the same time.

I have thoroughly tested the phone and am happy with its features except for an issue with low volume while using bluetooth with a hands free car kit. I know it is a basic phone but the ability to use a bluetooth hands free car kit was one of my mandatory requirements The issue seems to only be the output volume through the cars' speakers. I do not have this issue with any other phone, including Nokia C2-01 and Nokia E71, and other non-Nokia devices. When making calls the other party seems to hear me fine, indicating that the microphone volume is OK, but it is very hard for me to hear the other party even at maximum volume. Due to the road noise I have even had to pull over and stop the car so that I can have a conversation, which totally defeats the purpose of having a bluetooth hands free car kit.
