I would like to check why does my BB blackout during phone calls. I had this handphone cover over the receiver or if i cover the 'Blackberry' word on top it will black out during the call. May I know why and does this happen to all the other users as well?
View 1 RepliesMy phone (Motorola droid turbo) randomly restarts for no reason and takes forever to boot back up. Also at random times the screen will go dark and will not come back on for a while but when somebody calls me it will ring but I can't answer it. This phone has never been damaged and I've already tried clearing my cache.

I've tried turning it on and off as well as taking the battery out after it's off to reset it. I've tried deleteing all my old conversations in the phone as well
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I am on a call and I have to Press Four To Get Absolutely Nowhere, my screen goes black when I remove the phone from my ear. I tap the screen to wake it up and usually end up pushing a wrong button.
What is that screen blackout? This happens on short calls as well.
Since the blackout I cannot receive or send MMS messages! I have rebooted my BB but not sure what else to try
View 1 Replies View RelatedNow for passed a couple of days after making the latest Symbian update, the Camera blacked out. When I turn it on from the Camera button or Software button, doesnt matter I get, black screen and the settings marks of camera view on the screen. When shoot the picture from the button or the screen button, it does take the picture but it is very dark picture, even under a strong light and no colors but blue everything in the picture like a horror movie! When I insist taking photo during this condition, it all gets frozen and I hardly go back to phone and the phone requires a start up to be stabilized again. I get a frozen camera working behind and slows down everything. I have tryed reloading the symbian update, (Doesnt work) I have tryed to format MicroSD (even making it FAT32)

It's my first touchscreen phone, so I'm sorry if this has been discussed before.While I'm on a phone call, the following buttons automatically appear on the touchscreen: Mute, Hold, Speaker Phone, and Add Recipient. I have yet to complete a phone conversation without hitting one of these buttons with my cheek. I cannot for the life of me find a way in Options to stop these buttons from appearing during phone calls.I am actually considering returning the phone over this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWell been a few hours with my new 950, I'm coming from a lumia 920 I had for 3 years and one major issue which is probably a WP10 bug is in several apps when you get an area that requires you to type in something the keyboard comes up and then the area you need to type in goes black like the entire background of the screen goes black so you can';t type anything in, sometimes the app out right crashes after that. This is making it difficult to do things.
One example is the loyalty card app, press to add a new card and try and type in a name and it does this, found this with several other apps to.
It seems that firmware "leaks" and posts from Devs on XDA are the only way of getting any information as there's precious little official information coming from Moto itself.I know a lot of people are eagerly awaiting ICS, but in the meantime its frustrating to know that Moto ARE working on updated (Gingerbread) firmware for the Razr given the fact that the leaked files DO exist.. many people, myself included, however.. are reluctant to flash leaked firmware even if it does appear to be very stable (from what I've read), and would rather wait for something "official" from Moto...The last "official" EN.EU firmware released was gratefully received late December with very little notification (651.73.30 I believe), but as I'm sure many of you have read there's also a 651.167.20 firmware floating around.. again, with a complete info blackout from Moto to their customers that there's even anything going on..

View 2 Replies View RelatedNever had problems with Nokia in the past, and after happily purchasing a Nokia X6-00 16GB in the month of March of this year, my thoughts on Nokia only reinforced WHY i've always gone with Nokia.
Now, i purchased the phone when i was living in England, i moved back to Cyprus in April shortly after the purchase and got the phone unlocked, put in a Cypriot Sim card with CytaMobile. Everything was just great.
This past month as been slightly less of a joy though, out of no fault of my own, the phone seems to stop recieving and making calls, all calls get diverted to my answer phone, and to solve this problem i have had to turn the phone off, then back on again. Problem solved.
That was until this morning. I can still recieve texts but if someone attempts to call me, they are greeted with a 'beep' and then the phone call ends on their end.
For me i am greeted with deadly silence, then a little notification saying 'No Answer'.
I have restarted the phone;
Restored Factory Settings'
Upgraded to the latest firmware it will let me, being v20;
Still no luck, i am hoping it is not an internal problem with the phone, as in Cyprus as far as 'Offical' nokia care points are non-existant. The SIM card is on a contract, so if my phone had been cut off, so would my messaging and my internet which are all still in-use, and work just fine without problems.
On another note, if you are unable to find a cause for that problem, maybe you can give me a quick reasoning on why the phone shuts itself off when i choose the facebook application on occasions. Again only over the past month has this been happening.
My G3 Lollipop can't switch calls when someone calls me during a phone conversation. Is it something needs changing in settings?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI live in Downtown Los Angeles, so reception isn't a problem. I usually always get full bars. However, when talking on long phone calls 20+ minutes with full bars, my phone will just cut off and say call failed. Then I have no reception, then it just comes back.
Is this a iPhone issue or a ATT issue? I have an odd suspicion it's my phone because it occurs so frequently, but Ive had difficulty asking the apple bar to replace my phone just because of reception issues.
I Lost my phone yesterday I tracked it through the find my iphone app. It pops up but says offline. phone is still receiving calls it rings 4 times then goes to voicemail, so I know its on.

View 1 Replies View RelatedNew to the Windows mobile phone... I use my Windows phone for business and do a lot of conference calls. With my iPhone I used to be able to put the phone number with three commas and then the passcode to the conference call in the meeting request (format = 555-555-5555,,,12121212#). By using this format my customers could just click the link in their iPhone and it would auto-dial the conference number along with the passcode so that they did not have to remember the passcode while driving.
Example: 555-555-5555,,,12121212#. (autohyperlink for iOS)
VS
555-555-5555 Passcode 12121212 then press # (caller can hyperlink the phone number but has to remember the passcode and dial it while driving...)
By using this format you could just click the number and it would dial the number pause then auto add the passcode and # to enter the conference call. I think Blackberry used to use a similar format to achieve the same thing.
Can calls to the 4S be automatically diverted to a land-line phone if mobile phone switched off or out of a signal area?

When someone calls me and I want to answer the call by swiping the green button I got nothing even I can't end the call by swiping the red button or even by pressing the lock key. I have to wait until the caller ends the call and then I call him back.

I started having this strange bug: for no apparent reason, suddenly every phone call i try to make ends after 1-2 seconds, before even reaching the recipient. Only way to resolve it is restarting the phone. After a while the problem can repeat itself randomly.

My torch won't allow incoming calls, and I am missing out on all my work calls. I've contacted my service provider who says there is no issue on their side, and even managed to get it to work once - but since then it seems that my phone is not accepting incoming calls. I can call out, send and recieve text's, emails etc..
