Jul 12, 2011my received emails randomly disappear from the inbox from my Torch. I have the settings set to "forever" on the archive. Sometimes one or two go or the whole lot.

Apr 29, 2012Up to this weekend everything worked just fine. All my mails appeared in my Outlook 2010 as well as on my iPhone 4S, at home as well as on the go. Since Friday my mails started disappearing from my iPhone after having been displayed without any traces. If I wasn't aware of the mails they even disappeared before I could open them. I was not aware of any changes I might have made.

Oct 30, 2010I have a new, unused E5-00 which does not display any other e-mails than today's unread messages. Once you read them and send-receive to sync the inbox they also disappear from the phone. I could not find the option of "Retrieval amount" like the S60 3rd edition had.

Feb 13, 2010Whenever I send an email using my gmail account whether from my phone or my computer, the sent message shows up in the inbox as a new incoming message, I have my Messaging already set to hide sent emails/SMS/MMS/etc. So how do I get my phone to stop adding messages i sent as new messages in my inbox?

Jun 8, 2010When I sent emails, the sent mails show up in my BB 8900 "inbox". So, if I send an email to myself, both the mail (received) and the sent mail show up in the handheld "inbox". I could not find a set up option so that the send mail will not be listed in the inbox. Any idea? Thanks.

Messages > Option > General Options > Email Reconciliation > Delete on : Mailbox and handhel. Wireles Reconcile : On On Conflict: Handhel Wins
The delete works fine.
BB Bold :: Gmail Inbox Populated By Archived Mails?
Dec 31, 2011Many of my gmail messages like ads are automatically archived. Since I have my new bold 9900, these mails are not deleted from my inbox folder. My inbox Is polluated by many messages that are already archived. Consequence : I don't use anymore m bby for gmail, I use m iPad. If I open an already archived message, this one desapeare from my inbox as soon as I close it. I did not have the pb on my old devices (9000, 9800, 9700).

Aug 3, 2011I have my Yahoo e-mail account tied into the universal inbox. Certain received messages show up with no subject and with the timestamp as 0 UTC (1/1/1970) but adjusted for timezone. The problem e-mails look perfectly fine when viewed on a computer. Jan 27, 2012I have experienced delays of up to 6 hours between the time an e-mail hits my comuter and my BBerry. I've checked settings and have spoken to ATT and Godaddy, and both believe the issue rests with BBerry.I do have imap e-mail service with godaddy and POP3 to my computer and the BBerry picked up the change to imap with no problems.

Jan 2, 2011The text message icon normally disappears once I review the notification or read the text message itself. Same for any type of notification. The trouble is that sometimes the notification icon remains. I receive the notification, activate the icon but the icon remains in the notification area. Reactivating it opens a reply screen with the onscreen keboard. Hitting return does not eliminate the notification.
Cannot tell why it happens some times but it appears to only happen with text messsages. The sole solution is to reboot. A nuisance with corrupt icons. Whose problem, the carrier (Rogers) or BB ?

Apr 18, 2011I have a BB Torch. When a message comes in on my phone, it is displayed at the center beneath the clock. I click to open. Then just below where the box shows there a new message that had just come in, a "text message box appears". Now, then the message would be opened on clicking. It will then disappears to the inbox once read. If I go click "Text Messages", I will find that message in the inbox which is fine. I can therefore delete any message in the inbox.
The Problem Some of the messages will not be diverted into the inbox for some reasons I don't seem to gather. These though, when opened, will just show a symbol (smiley, etc.) but without any text. The symbol will appear at the extreme right.
