2 email accounts; Gmail n Blueyonder Virgin em most often used. Am aware 1 fix is to delete my BY account and set up not clicking on the Premium box. works & em stay in Inbox but email thing is slowed down and not sure I'm "losing" by not clicking Premium setup. Is this problem with disappearing email gonna b a problem for while? Do I contact Virgin Media?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had several occasions on turning on my AT&T Galaxy S2 phone where all 7 of my screens were blank except for the 4 icons at the bottom. In fact, every screen had a message in the middle saying to drag items to add them to the screen, like it was *supposed* to be blank. Before today, turning the phone off and on again resolved this.In fact, when I clicked on the Applications icon at the bottom, got nothing but a spinning circle. After a minute or two, I pulled the battery, returned it, and powered up again. This time, everything is again normal. But I am concerned. This phone is just 5 weeks old.

When entering an pattern to unlock the phone, and you accidentally enter it wrong, you have to wait 30 second each try.
I've searched through the manual and online, but I can't seem to find a way to disable or extend this feature to 3 try's.
Is it possible to get the wording of pushmails to flash up on the otherwise-on-standby screen for say 10 seconds. If not a setting, is there a widget or something that will do this perhaps?

I tried to import them from Mac and PC, but a message said "An error occurred while importing. The item ‘IMG_3810.JPG” was not imported."
Can si the size and the name, but can't do anything. I tried to recover the backups with some programs, couldn´t fpund those photos. I think the photos could be damage.

I have a samsung s6 and am on a pop server using an email address from go daddy. I only have that one account going to my mailbox. I am able to read the email in the recycle bin but am unable to forward, reply or save the email. There seems to be no option to move it to the in box folder...
View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't know why this happened, I woke up this morning and it was like this. Whenever I try to open my email inbox the SMS inbox opens. Even if I go directly to my individual accounts on my BB (yahoo and gmail) and try to open them directly, it still opens my SMS inbox. I can't figure this out and can't find an answer. I have to check all my emails my going onto a computer. I still get notifications of new emails on my BB, but can't view them because only the SMS inbox will come up. I need my email inbox to show when I click on my email inbox.

I cannot get the phone to show me the correct number of messages. Apart from this problem all email related things are working correctly.

I have a galaxy s6 edge. A weird thing is happening to my email. i would like to use conversation mode to display my messages. Initially all good. But when I press on the sent folder (to see the messages I sent), the Inbox goes crazy.
It displays all my sent messages in my inbox! Not just the ones from within a conversation, but all my sent messages... This is extremely strange. did not have that problem with my Samsung Alpha... I am at lost to understand Probably some simple setting I am missing?

You can click and open existing emails, but new emails are not listed and you cannot select which email box to view. Killing widget service or email won't help. You have to add the widget again or reboot the phone.

I keep getting "setup could not finish" with both the automatic and manual setup using IMAP, POP and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync when setting up through the email icon on the S2. View 1 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich on my Galaxy S2 yesterday and now I've lost visibility of my Exchange sub-folders within the default Email app. If I open up Email it defaults to my Inbox, but when I hit the menu key and select folders the only ones I can see are the main root folders, Inbox, Drafts, Outbox, Sent, Deleted etc. I have a load of sub-folders underneath my Inbox that I need to be able to get to on my phone as I use it for work. This all worked fine on Gingerbread.I've removed my Exchange account from the phone and re-added it, but this made no difference. Interestingly on re-adding the account and going into the folders section I saw all my sub-folders and then as the initial sync was occurring they were removed one by one until it left me with the same default folders as I mentioned above.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI updated my SG2 to ICS v4.0.3 last night, and everything went smoothly with no problems to report. Apart from the fact the install seemed to delete 2 of my 3 email accounts that were set up 1 Hotmail account and 1 AOL account.I've set up the Hotmail account no problem, but for some reason I just cannot get the AOL one set up. I input my email address and password and it progresses to the 'retrieving information' screen but then I keep getting the error message Sign in incorrect - The attempt to sign in failed due to an invalid User Name, Password or incorrect settings. Please check blah blah blah....try again blah blah blah Now I've sucessfully logged in to the email account via the internet (just in case I was been a numpty and entering the incorrect password) and the details are all correct. I've even tried changing my password on-line then logging in again on my phone with the new one, but I still get the smae error message. I never had this problem at all with Gingerbread.
