I've got BuzzMe Pro.Had it on my Bold 9000.Not sure if it's part of my problem but I can't get the LED notifications to turn off after I read an e-mail.I open the mail and the little symbol for new mail goes away, but the LED keeps blinking.Sometimes, if I click on "mark prior opened", it goes away.Sometimes not.

I check my emails on a daily on a basis on the computer, but the icon still shows them as unread on my BlackBerry, which in turn leaves the yellow envelope/red asterisk on my home screen. I'm sure others have had this question before, but I did a few searches on CB and google to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently added my company email on Blackberry Torch 9800. Whenever I get any mail on my BB and I read it, while Outlook is not open on my laptop, the mail is not delivered on my laptop at all. I have already ticked the "leave a copy of messages on Server" in accounts settings.
Further, I receive mails on my BB in bunches after a gap varying from 20 mins to 1 hour after the sender has sent the mail to me. I receive from 4 - 10 mails at one single time, but not as and when they are posted. After facing these problems, I upgraded the OS to 6.0.0 bundle 2647, however the behavior has not changed.
I configure my corp mail using BIS in my blackberry. I am getting around 100+ mails in hours of time. Even I read in my corp outlook, still blackberry shows "UNREAD".When I configure I have a open to sync my delete mail with my corp outlook not for inbox .I am totally tiring of go and open all the unread mail to make as read.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm on my 2nd Torch - the 1st one had a defect when I tried to use the GPS feature that I subscribe to AT&T. When I did the even exchange, they were not able to transfer my info but luckily I backed up my old phone prior to going in.Now my problem is with my email accounts.No matter what ring tone/notification sound I pick - it doesn't notify me when I receive emails to my yahoo email account or my work email account.I've rebooted, deleted ALL apps...selected different ring tones but nothing.I receive the emails in my message list, but it never notifies me, which means I'll have to continuously check to see if I received work/personal emails throughout the day.And to top it off, I just discovered that I can't reply to my emails ANY emails from either account.I Menu click to 'Reply', but then when I menu click again to send, there is no 'Send' option. Only Save as Draft, etc.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have my email going to my torch, and when a message comes in, a yellow envelope shows up. The problem is that the yellow envelope wont go away. I tried clicking the envelope, tried going into the mail folder, and I even deleted all the messages in the folder. Still there!
I powered off and on, nothing
took the battery out, nothing
took the cards out, nothing
any thoughts? my next try will be re-establishing my email accounts

View 10 Replies View RelatedFor the past 4-5 days I have only been receiving some of the emails that are on Yahoo Mail when checked online. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. Two emails from same sender - sometimes only one will be on BB inbox. There are not any filters set up on the BB.I have tried resetting to factory default and restoring to a backup from BB Desktop. I can send emails fine from the BB - sometimes the auto BCC works sometimes not. The Torch is about 11 months old and worked perfectly prior to this.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI was using Facebook app on my phone when I noticed it froze on the screen which I assumed was the phone lagging since I had a couple other apps open but then I also noticed my LED light come on in a still abnormal red, a dark red and then immediately my phone shut off completely. I did a battery pull thinking I just needed to reboot it but that didn't even work since even after multiple battery pulls the reboot screen won't even show up, no loading bar, no LED either. Just nothing at all. Tried leaving it alone for a few hours, put the battery back in and still nothing. Left the battery in while charging in and still nothing.

I woke up to charge it and there was no response besides a red light when plugged in then it went out and then no light eventually. I ordered a new battery and got it today. It charged for 10 seconds then tried turning itself on and died and kept repeating this process and now im back to the red light when I plug it in and thats all..The light keeps going out then no response.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently acquired a torch 9800. I started enjoying the ph. when I registered it with my internet provider for some reason the ph. went crazy. It send me the message saying welcome to bb but when the battery died i havent been able to get it charge again. When I connect it to the charger the light comes on but stays on only for like 10 seconds and thats it. When I connected to the computer the same the light stays on for like 10 seconds and it goes off. I haven't been able to even turn it on.

I took it into my carrier today and they hooked it up to the computer and said that I just needed to update the software. This was fine, but by the time I got home my phone had shut off and I cannot get it to turn back on to do the updates.I have been searching these forums for hours and the only solution I can find is to wipe the phone clean and put a new OS on it. I have downloaded a new OS and I have tried several times to put in onto the phone but I can't get it to work. I have opened the application loader, but when it gets to the device application selection screen, there are no options for me to select. I tried to go into my files and choose the OS that I just downloaded but an error pops up (XML syntax error on line1) to be specific.

Anyway i plugged it in to a wall charger and after maybe forty minutes it flashed on and all was working fine for about an hour and a half. charge was half done and i was about to leave the house when....again it went dead! this is now 6 hours ago! its been on charge since and still i have had nothing..

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm really surprised to not see more posts with questions or information about turning off the tilt function of the 9800. The most annoying thing is that I like showing 3 rows of icons on the home screen, but if you tilt it, it changes to 2 rows, tilt it back to portrait and it stays at 2. This happens every time. Not to mention, on a reboot, it reverts back to 1 row! Unlike the Storm, you cannot set a default number of rows. Regardless, I would ONLY use the landscape option while watching videos....so the tilt is very annoying. Anybody know of any way to turn off the tilt function? Maybe in the programming?
When I had my Storm, there were plenty of applications out there to stop the tilt, but ALL BUT ONE did not retain the settings after a reboot. This was very annoying. Even the one that did retain after a reboot, sometimes failed to work properly.
How do I turn off the bluetooth light? I use a earbud 80% of the time and the flashing blue annoys the heck out of me.

It is not because of the bluetooth (I leave it off and do not use.) if the message indicator is on it is purple (blue + red). The other colors still work but end up blended with the blue. I have pulled the battery. (obviously it didn't help or I wouldn't be posting this.) I have contacted my carrier for support. No help. They will just replace the phone. My warranty is void and can't afford to buy a new torch. I have turned off everything I can and checked all options. Check the cpu and can not find anything running that shouldn't be.
