I have following problem:on my N97mini i have installed MfE and it works. But when I receive an email and i read it in outlook or OWA the "new Mail icon" on my N97mini doesn't disappear. It shows that I have a new email but when I click on it there is no new email.The icon only disappears when i reboot my N97mini.

So I try to add new Windows Live Hotmail account, insert login and password, but after that the system said that I inserted incorrect login or password.
I thought that Mail application can't see special symbols (#,!,...), but I have such problem for password with only small letters and digits.
Every time i go to set an mailbox (i.e gmail) i just enter the password and the device just take me to the screen to choose E-mail (Ovi Mail, Yahoo, Gmail...).. Nothing happens.
I have an iphone and setting an e-mail account was peace of cake. Nokia drives me crazy. I did factory defaults and everything but nothing seems to help. I can access internet by wi-fi and by my operator (successfully browse the WEB).
I have the iPhone 5c and am on IOS 8.1.1. When I get a voice mail, the voice mail icon no longer lights up. This has been since I updated to the latest version of IOS. I have to turn the phone off. When I turn the phone back on, the voice mail icon lights up. Is there a way to correct this?

Very nice phone. took some time to get the messaging to work.But still I only receive the new e-mail sound, but no new e-mail icon is shown.Also I noticed that when I use the messaging screen will my phone is closed the icon's on top (like the sync icon) is not shown. When I open my phone(pull out the keyboard) the icons are shown.Does anybody has the same problem or know how to solve it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedProblem observed by me on any firmware version, I'm using actually v 50.0.005 in my 5800XM.If you have over 200 e-mails in your mailbox on server and you have downloaded them into the phone (even only e-mails headers) then icon in upper right corner (that envelope with @ sign) doesn't want disappear. Only phone turn off then turn on is solution which is not so funny.Any ideas? Magic spells? Wake up developers! This bug? is very irritating.

I would like to be able to open Mail and read an email without it downloading new emails and using up data and battery -I'd rather set it to manually do that. There's a feature to "fetch manually" but either it is not working or I am misunderstanding how it works. Everytime I open Mail it checks the server. I played around with turning on and off Fetch and Push. Seems unfortunate that I might not be able to read an email in my inbox without downloading unknown large emails while traveling where data and battery are sometimes difficult to manage.
