I have a 9630. I check my emails on a daily on a basis on the computer, but the icon still shows them as unread on my BlackBerry, which in turn leaves the yellow envelope/red asterisk on my home screen. I'm sure others have had this question before, but I did a few searches on CB and google to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Since last week messages I send from the web gmail interface appear on my BB but when I view a message online it doesn't show as read on my BB. Has anyone with Verizon and the Tour gotten this to work properly?

My wife got one for work and I fell in love with it and needed to get one. She has the Curve 8530??? (not sure on model the second one.) Anyway I was wondering if there was anyway to set my read text message how the curve display them. With blue and white bars, and it groups them all to the same person instead of by most recent. I would to go to my messages and just have them group all by person with the ongoing conversation like the cure, does where as my tour just puts last sent/received at top. Any ideas?

I don't remember where I did that and don't know how to get the notifications back.Can anyone help me get it back? I clicked on "restore defaults" in the options section on the FB app but still nothing. I did a battery pull as well.How do I get it back?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI'm using CrunchSMS and I really like it. The only thing that sucks is when I receive a text message, i have my regular SMS notification plus the Crunch SMS notification. If I read the text using Crunch, the notification for Crunch disappears but the regular sms notification stays there until i check the message in my regular sms box. Is there a way to shut the regular sms notification?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have my sound on "Loud (Active)" as I always do and then all of the sudden it stops making any sounds or chimes when I receive calls, emails, texts or facebook notifications.My calls and ect.are still coming thru, but just completely silent.I have to look at my screen to see I have a call coming thru and wait for the little red light at the top to see if I have any text messages and whatnot.Does anyone know why this could be happening?Now during the workday I will probably end up missing important phone calls and playing phone tag with people.Any help would be appreciated

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't turn off my alarm on my blackberry. I don't think i turned it on, the alarm symbol just showed up next to my clock. I don't used it, so i was confused. This is a picture of what the alarm looks like:
Ive never seen that symbol before. I turn on the daily alarm, it doesn't turn on it just stays the same. Turn it to off, it won't go away. I tried everything i could think of including taking out the battery. it will NOT go away! its going to drive me crazy if my phone goes off at 3 pm every day!
My friend somehow set this alarm on her BB so it goes off ever day but I can't seem to find where to turn it off. It shows up on the screen when in the clock and it looks like a phone (on the bottom right side when in clock mode). Its not the same as the usual clock alarm which looks like a clock . Can't figure out where to turn this thing off at and its driving us nuts!

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Tour will not turn on after about 2 weeks of inactivity. The battery was stored in it at appx 40% (I realize this was probably a mistake...). When plugged into the charger, the red light goes on for appx 10 secs, then turns off (whether battery is in or out). Several battery pulls have not made a difference. Phone has been plugged in for over an hour now, with no result. Tried putting the battery in with the phone plugged/unplugged. Plugging phone into PC USB tries to install the drivers (so it's def not fried)

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe small clock kept showing up in the middle of the screen on my blackberry. A vzw rep told me sometimes I need to reboot my blackberry because its like a computer. So, I took the battery out and put it back in to reboot it and it won't come on. A white blank background will show up with the small clock in the middle. Then the screen will go black with the small clock in the middle and the red light blinking.

Delete On: Prompt
Wireless Reconcile: On
On Conflicts: Mailbox Wins
Any help would be really appreciated. I know other people have reported this problem w. different OS's on different phones.
Just did a battery pull with OS 5.0.0.419 and for the first time since the upgrade there was no email about registering with the network after the unit booted up!! Maybe it stops after a while.
