Just yesterday my Torh 9800 stopped receiving text messages - I can send them but I just don't receive them. I have tried the usual "take the battery out and restart" but it still won't work! Also, it has stopped telling me when I have voicemail, but the little sign that I have voicemal never goes.

Instead it brings me to a random part of the conversation(although it is usually the same part over and over). This is very small, but very annoying indeed. My S2 is only about four or five months old and I recently started noticing that it is not alerting on text messages anymore. I checked the settings and the obvious stuff such as the volume being on and a ringtone for text notification is set. I just went to unlock my phone and I noticed that the phone did not play the click or pop noise as I hit the keys to unlock the phone. Again, the volume was on....maybe this is a larger issue...

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BBM has stopped sending or recieving messages.Whenever I try to send a message, it makes the sending symbol that looks like ))) but then a big red cross like this X comes up. I've tried re-booting about 10 times, and also updating my version of BBM to the newest possible version, but nothing has worked. It's not a connection issue, because my internet, 3G, Facebook, Twitter, Texts and Emails are all working. I've tried connecting my phone to my wifi instead of the 3G I pay for, but with still no luck. Also, my data usage is fully topped up and nothing wrong with my service provider O2.

View 1 Replies View Related I was on straight talk (at&t) and I stopped receiving MMS messages. I tried every APN configuration I could find and none worked. I installed a different rom and they worked for a while and stopped. I decided to try out project fi so I didn't try a new sim. I also restored to stock for a fresh start. My Fi service started today and I'm still not able to receive MMS messages. Sending them works fine as far as I can tell.
I called Google and none of their solutions worked and they told me the port can take time to fully go through. While I was waiting for the port to complete I used my straight talk sim on my one plus 2 and did receive a picture during that time. Is it possible that the problem is with the phone itself? Dialing some set of symbols and numbers to get into additional phone settings or anything like that?
Its completely stopped sending and receiving messages. Ive tried the battery pull and that worked for a while but now there's a red x beside every message I send. I've also deleted and reinstalled BBM but no luck.

I've checked settings and have spoken to ATT and Godaddy, and both believe the issue rests with BBerry.I do have imap e-mail service with godaddy and POP3 to my computer and the BBerry picked up the change to imap with no problems.
