Dec 29, 2011I'm a 9800 user and I was wondering if I could receive the messages that were sent to me in the time I blocked everybody after disabling the block?

BB Torch :: 9800 Cannot Get Into Text Messages
May 9, 2011I have the black berry torch 9800. I cannot get into text messages. When I click on it it says: Uncaught exception:Java.lang.indexoutofbounds exception.I called att&t, they told me I need to update the OS, I tried to from my device, it takes forever saying preparing to download then I get a message saying Update cannot continue. Update ising blackberry desktop manager on your computer.Version says 6.0 bundle 2342, which I dont see any mention of this anywhere on the web.I tried using Wi-fi only, then att&t network only, then both, it still will not download. I want to get to my text messages.

Aug 15, 2010I had this problem on my prior 9700. What happens is when I open up an unread text message it always doesn't show that text on the screen. Instead it brings me to a random part of the conversation(although it is usually the same part over and over). This is very small, but very annoying indeed. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to fix this issue

The only app i have installed is Facebook and I have over 300 MB of application space and multiple GBs of data storage space. Jan 14, 2010My 9700 recently started not letting me view my new text messages. For example, sometimes I get forwarded chain texts and it won't let me view them, it'll show a random block of text and that's it. And if I try to reply to it, it won't show me my reply, it's only doing this with a few contacts, but it's still extremely annoying.I've tried uninstalling my third party apps and it didn't fix it, is it a setting I have to change or does anyone know anything?

Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Jun 11, 2012I have a Torch 9800. Ever since I got it, I've noticed that, occasionally, messages will not show up in my inbox. My phone will buzz when I receive them, and I'll have the "new messages" icon on the homescreen, but clicking the messages icon brings me to an empty inbox.
I've noticed this behavior impacting email (my gmail account is the only one I have going to the blackberry), text messages, and two different third-party chat clients.
I don't have any messages being filtered to different folders or anything like that. Clicking "View Folder" verifies that my inbox is selected.
But here's where it gets weird: if I compose a new email and send it, when I return to the inbox, all the messages appear. It's almost as if the inbox is having a problem displaying the message list, but once I force a new item to display (the newly sent message), it shocks it back to life.

Issue: BBM Messages are not being delivered or received.I can type out the messages and send, but they are not delivered and I am not receiving any bbm messages. I can send the same message 10-15 times and one may be delivered.Text messages work, and my browser is working, both on data and wireless. Was working fine last night, the issue started today. Have performed both soft and hard reboots, no change.
