BB Bold :: Email Icon Disappeared After Update?
Apr 30, 20121. I updated my phone yesterday and one of my email icons has disappeared. I have deleted it and reinstalled but still not there even though i can still recieve emails.
2. I am self employed and use the mobile for work. i have just set up a website and email address with uk-cheapest and get get the email to load onto my blackberry. it says invalid email or password even though these are correct.

May 27, 2011One of my email icons are not showing up on my home screen nor on my menu screen when i press "show all" applications. I've tried taking the battery out for 30 seconds, finding service books (it won't let me send), and i've tried checking if it was hidden, but i didn't know how to check that on the 9780. I've tried looking it up and every post says "from the home screen, press menu and then show all" but there is no regular menu option nor is there a show all.

Before to get it back, i go to email setup and delete it then add it back, then AOL icon returns. Aug 24, 2011On my first Photon and my wife's Photon the email icon is a bright red icon looking like an envelope.
When I updated my Photon I now have a gray borig @ sign icon. Where is the other icon? That seems to come if you set up email with another provider (I was initially using comcast). I tried creating comcast account again but it did not change the icon.
Is there a way to get that notifiacation icon back? Obviusly it can be done without being root.

Dec 12, 2011Last week I noticed that all my emails before Nov 28th have disappeared? In addition all the text messages before that date appear with only the persons number and a green "draft" message icon. If I access it the original text is not there it is simply blank as if it were a draft message waiting to be sent.
I have a 9700 (v6.0.0546, Platform 6.6.0.207). My carrier is Vodafone. Mail settings have been checked and messages are set to store "forever".

Feb 20, 2012Problem: My 3 email account icons disappeared on the phone First happened last week I believe on 2/14 and again this morning. The 3 accounts are a BlackBerry, Hotmail and a company account (Outlook) with Microsoft Exchange I was able to get the BlackBerry and the Hotmail account to work again by entering the passwords but not the Outlook account, the error message is: [URL] password is invalid. Please try again Last night I was able to get my Outlook email account to work again however I lost it again this morning with same error message, p.s. also lost the other 2 accounts this morning but got them going again easily.

Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
BB (RIM) :: EMail Icon On Top Shows 1 Email But No EMail
Jun 25, 2010Something weird happened with my Blackberry Bold 9700 yesterday.
There is an e-mail icon on the top with a "1" next to it but there is no e-mail within my centralized message box or my individual mail account icons.
I tried removing the battery and putting it back in and this didn't fix the problem.
I also scrolled through all the messages within my centralized message box and there aren't any unread messages (past or current).
I also tried to fix it by sending myself an e-mail message and opening it but this didn't work. The icon on the top of my screen shows "2" when the new message arrives and when I open this e-mail message, the number next to the icon goes back to "1".

I had to adjust the settings of the e-mail icon to also show SMS'es, but having both showing in one list is not convenient. It looks as if the properties of the SMS icon are completely taken over by the e-mail icon, as changing a setting under the e-mail icon also changes that same setting under the SMS icon...
