The email icon on my BB Torch 9800 just disappeared. If I type email in the search button it shows me the greyed out email icon but I can't get the icon back on to my homescreen. How do I get my email icon back?

My camera icon disappeared from all my screens.If I use the search function, I can locate it and use it.Why can't I highlight the camera Icon, hit my bb button, and have an option to 'add to home screen'?I think "resetting all my icons" may fix the problem, but will leave me with a bunch of re-customizing fun.

I've tried taking the battery out for 30 seconds, finding service books (it won't let me send), and i've tried checking if it was hidden, but i didn't know how to check that on the 9780. View 5 Replies View RelatedEach time my phone has to restart or reboot, my email icon which is AOL(green envelope w/ a blue AOL/logo @ bottom of envelope) disappears and the standard icon appears in home screen. Before to get it back, i go to email setup and delete it then add it back, then AOL icon returns. When I updated my Photon I now have a gray borig @ sign icon. Where is the other icon? That seems to come if you set up email with another provider (I was initially using comcast). I tried creating comcast account again but it did not change the icon.
