The button for the browser randomly dissappreared from my phone a few weeks ago. I can still access the net by typing in generic words it allows me to search through google and then I can type in the web address I want to go however I cant access the browser any other way.
View 4 RepliesIm not 100% sure what happened to it, today I got a brand new 9300 and I connected it to my wi-fi connection and I visited a few pages, after that I put my sim card into it topped my phone up and connected my phone to the BIS as I only set up the BIS today I have to wait for upto 24 hours for it to work, in this space of time my browser icon has dissapeared completely it still appears in Core Applications but I have looked in every folder i have and cannot find it or how I could get it back?

My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! When I had my 8310 curve there were a crapload of options in the brower settings and one of them was to select which type of brower it viewed the webpage as, (blackberry, IE, etc.)
anyways, I'd like to know if this option still exists, because I'm trying to access a mobile website but its coming up as the full website. When I tried putting an m. in front of the website it didnt work so I'm not sure how to access it.
