BlackBerry :: Receive/send Text Messages With Mobile Network OFF?
Oct 16, 2012
I was just wondering. Can i receive/send txt messages with my mobile network OFF? How can I set it up? Cause now I'm having it on all the time and it eats my battery pretty bad.. have to charge it every 12 hours, really annoying.
1.X2/Aspen can't send and receive mobile phone text messages Is there phone menu settings? 2.With WLAN-enabled mobile phone, open the WLAN if the way to access the Internet, then browse the web or other access, GPRS/EDGE/3G network traffic would not be taking it? 3.X2/Aspen how to Android series of mobile phones in the mobile terminal as the temporary closure of access to GPRS and MMS.
I can send text messages but can't receive any text messages (sms). Ideed, i have a message like that : "message memory full" i delete a lot of messages, i don't have any video or pictures, my memory is not full, so i don't understand why it's like that. I have this probleme for 4 days ant it becomes very annoying. delete any message cause i delete three-quarters of messages..
I can't really receive any messages. It's all delayed. I'm from Philippines. my iPhone had been unlocked since my mom bought it in USA. I can't receive any messages here in our province but when I'm in Metro Manila, it's working.
I have been able to send text messages, but cannot receive them. I've taken the battery out twice and still nothing has come through. I can receive emails though.
I have a 3.1 Firmware JailBroken by Blackra1n since it was released.2 weeks ago I lost the ability to send and receive text messages, I'll send them and no error shows but the person never receives them and I never receive theirs, NOT a network problem as far as a can tell. I want to restore it but am afraid of losing 3.1 and having to upgrade. THE REASON I want a jailbroken iphone IS for MYWI, sharing my internet connection with others.
My husband gave me his Blackberry for a day so I could send emails from his phone. We switched our sim cards since we have the same carrier. While I had his phone and when we switched back, the phone would not send or recieve text messages
I recently discovered that I am not receiving text messages on my iphone 6. I also found out that the text messages I thought that I was sending are not being received by the recipient. I an however successfully sending and receiving iMessages. I purchased the iPhone 6 in August and didn't have any issues sending or receiving texts until about two weeks ago (early November). I have iOS 8.1.1.Â
So far I have tried the following with no results:
-turned phone off and on
-reset network settings
-Removed and reinserted SIM card
-turned imessage off and tried sending texts
-turned on "Send as SMS" in message settingsÂ
None of these troubleshooting efforts have been effective. Something that works?
I have a hand-me-down blackberry 9700 which I got unlocked because I live in china, and have a china mobile sim card is place. It is able to make and receive calls as well as receive all text messages. However, certain people do not receive my text messages, even when I reply directly to their message. Others do receive them. Is it because of their provider?
Every time I try to send one, it goes to pending for a short time (occasionally flashing the "sending" symbol but only for about half a second) and then shows the big "X" along with "Retries exceeded" or something like that.
I replaced 3 iphone 3g's with 3 new iphone 4's on my family plan. 2 of them are working just fine. The other one is unable to send or receive texts or mms. Anyone else having this problem? Or anyone that can suggest how to fix this? I wonder if I might have misstyped in the ime or SSID info on the at&t page incorrectly on that one unit. This is a non jail broken phone. Just a regular 3g.
I recently purchased a Blackberry Curve 8300 from my friend the phone is unlocked to any network, in which i have an o2 UK sim inside, it loads up and the o2-UK logo comes up with a full signal GPRS (in capital letters) but i cannot send texts or make calls and i cannot receive them either.I have tried numerous battery pulls and soft soft resets to no avail, i have update to 4.5 software also, i really like the phone and don't want to have to throw it in the bin:I have registered through the Host Routing Table and received the confirmation email.I have the radio on the phone switched on.I can access the internet and receive e-mails.I can access BB Messenger.
I have been trying to text and receive texts from a friend in Norway. I know that we can both receive and send international texts because we text a mutual friend in Australia. I checked the participating carriers in Norway. His carrier, Netcom, is on that list. Now I have a Blackberry Storm 9530 and he has a Nokia. I'm not sure of the model.
I have one problem with my AT&T iPhone 4. I send texts to people and they don't receive it. It sends but the person doesn't receive it. This is multiple people on different networks. Sometimes I don't even receive their texts. I did a little research and I learned that it isn't an issue from Apple but rather AT&T. And this has been going on for a few weeks. Should I contact AT&T about this?
I am not able to send message but i am able to recieve messages and i can even send imessage but cant send normal text message. i removed the sim and used it in an other phone and i am able to send message. so its not the problem with the carrier. i also used different sim and i was not able to send message from my iphone with that also. i reset the to factory settings and i still have the problem
I've got a Blackberry Curve 8520 and I can't send or receive picture text messages. Also I'm unable to upload pictures to Facebook. I have done in the past, but now, nothing!
Using iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.1. recently, I am not able to sent text messages with a photo attached. I get NOT DELIVERED. I cannot rec photos as a text either. I have deleted text msgs especially those containing photos, but I still can't send a text with a picture.
I have a strange issue,if my phone hasn't sent or received a text for a few hours I am unable to send or receive text messages, turning on and then off aeroplane mode fixes it instantly. Its like my phone has "forgot" my network.
So I just recently upgraded from the curve 8310 to the new bold 9700 on att literally two days ago and i love it! But one problem i'am having trouble with sending and receiving text messages. I have called att customer care numerous times and powered cycled my phone as many times as I can count but still nothing, I have also checked to see if the "service center" number is correct and it is, I still have no clue what it could be. When i send an sms text message and scroll up to the message it says "sent" and the date and time but i ask the recipient if he/she has received the text but still nothing.
