Trying to Sync via PC patch cable the BB Address Book (Contacts) with MS Outlook Contacts. Set-up failing apparently because wireless data sync with the Bold is turned ON. Can't locate referenced setting on the device to turn OFF.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9650 with Verizon and I set everything up to sync with outlook 2007 properly and it only picks up 2 contacts. I am running windows XP with the latest version of desktop manager. It syncs calender, memo pad etc fine but will only do those same two contacts each time. I have played with all the different settings within BB desktop manager but did not want to play with settings in outlook.

Im not paying for Outlook, so thats out of the question...

I upgraded to new Desktop Manager - 6.47 and now I can't sych my organizer data.I always get a message that wireless sychronization is in place but when I check this is not true.There are not even options to synchronize - memo pad, contacts, and tasks on my device.I even shut off all wireless services and still no change.Can't get satisfaction for Blackberry so called support.

View 9 Replies View RelatedHow would I transfer my old phone numbers off my LG phone to my new Blackberry 9650 smartphone? i have the software disc for the Blackberry for the blackberry desktop manager, but I don't know how to or if it is possible to manually input the numbers onto the computer and then transfer them from the computer to the new blackberry phone. I am with the cell phone provider CREEDO and they have been giving me no help at all.

View 14 Replies View Related9650 is my first BB ever. I'm generally happy with it.A few questions. Does anyone know how to get contacts, calender entries, memo's, tasks, etc into the phone through the use of a laptop? The CD-ROM that came with it wasn't recognized by my laptop for some reason so I just downloaded Desktop Manager from the BB website. I thought the manager would have the fields for this and I could just syncronize it with the laptop. To my disappointment this was not the case, apparently D.Manager is just a backup tool.I called Sprint and I was told I could use Gmail to enter contacts which is what I have been slowly doing. Oh yal, I don't have Microsoft Outlook either.Does anyone know of some software or something that can help me get ALL of the above mentioned item information into the phone thru my computer?Also, can anyone tell me why my battery runs out of a full charge rather quickly?? I have to charge it everyday and that's because I hardly make or receive calls. I think I use the phone (browser, messaging, etc) less than the average person. By the way I set my brightness to 50 and the back lighting time to 10 seconds which I think are pretty generous settings to help save battery energy. Yet the phone still needs a charge everyday. Reviews say it will last 4 to 5 days on standby. Not the case for me at all.Lastly, do any 9650 Sprint owners out there notice the end key (red) to be kinda faded?? Wondering if Igot a lemon in that respect, my red keys look faded and the white of the buttons (majority of keypad) lean towards a whitish-orangeish hue instead of what looks like the brighter whitish-blueish hue. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just switched from a PC to Mac Air and downloaded BB Desktop to my Mac so that I can sync contacts, calendar etc. What happens is that it automatically syncs to Apple and not to Outlook and there is nowhere I can change the settings. I lost all my info on the BB so had to sync with my old PC again..

Every time I try to synchronize, I get the error message: During synchronization, some the records were invalid. The following 2 records were skipped: Address Book: Device - 0, Microsoft Outlook - 2 Do you want to view the synchronization log for more detail? View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm done banging my head against a wall and have searched and searched on how to fix this, as although I'm a newbie to this site, I feel like I can generally navigate myself around my BB to fix issues here and there. This one, I cannot, for the life of me! Here's the situation: I had to wipe my entire BB Bold the other day. I did that successful, reloaded all my settings/applications and all was well and good, including syncing my Calendar and Contacts. I realized that my contacts were double, triple and sometimes quadropled during the syncing process, thus having the duplicates on both my device and Outlook. Not to mention, totally reconfigured my "File As" in my Outlook - but that's another topic. Issue at hand, after turning the Wireless Syncronization OFF, checking my Default services and following any advice here on the forums. I now can't get ANY of my contacts to sync from Outlook to my device. Except 2 random contacts. When I go to sync, it registers the address book and asks if I want to delete 8XX contacts from Outlook to Device, which I DON't!Anyway, long winded.

I am also syncing the Calender, which works fine, but when I sync the contacts also, I get the following error message ox80040Fb3
I have the latest software verson of the Blackberry User Tools, and I have tried un-installing and re-installing again, but the same error comes up.
If I only sync the contacts from the phone to Outlook then this works, but I cannot sync both ways or from Outlook to the phone. My last phone was a Blackberry Pearl, which I had no problems syncing with Outlook. The Blackberry User Tools Version for the Pearl was Version 4.3, which I re-installed and tried that, but I still got the same error.
I'm thinking it must be a problem with the software on the phone, as the problem didn't happen with my other Blackberry, and it's happening with both versions of software.
I am using Vista Home Premium, with Office XP. Does anyone have any ideas?
Just had all my contacts transferred from old phone to new phone but when I sync using desktop it doesn't put them in my outlook contacts.

I still have all the contacts on my device. When I synced my device with my laptop it only synced those 11 contacts. I can't get the other 1200+ into Outlook on my computer. Help!
