I have tried multiple times to sync my contacts from outlook to my BB Bold. It shows complete on my BB Desktop but the phone has been stuck on the sync screen for about an hour and a half now.

I'll try to explain as much as I can. I have the Blackberry Bold through AT&T. I am a single user, not through a business, just me. While at home, my email (through at&t) comes to my BB. Once I arrive at work in the morning, I open up my Outlook (version 2003) and my email downloads from my BB. I have the option checked to NOT leave a copy on the server so it is now gone from my BB and housed in my Outlook. I like this setup. This is how I want it to work.
About 4 days ago the problem started. The emails still download to Outlook but won't disappear from my BB as before. I have to go in and delete it a second time on the BB. I don't use any type of sync with my email, it's just always been an automatic thing. I double checked and in my Outlook account it's still set to NOT leave a copy on the server.
Did something get corrupted? It's annoying to see that red LED light flashing only for an email I've already read on Outlook. Hate having to delete the same email twice.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just switched from a PC to Mac Air and downloaded BB Desktop to my Mac so that I can sync contacts, calendar etc. What happens is that it automatically syncs to Apple and not to Outlook and there is nowhere I can change the settings. I lost all my info on the BB so had to sync with my old PC again..

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm done banging my head against a wall and have searched and searched on how to fix this, as although I'm a newbie to this site, I feel like I can generally navigate myself around my BB to fix issues here and there. This one, I cannot, for the life of me! Here's the situation: I had to wipe my entire BB Bold the other day. I did that successful, reloaded all my settings/applications and all was well and good, including syncing my Calendar and Contacts. I realized that my contacts were double, triple and sometimes quadropled during the syncing process, thus having the duplicates on both my device and Outlook. Not to mention, totally reconfigured my "File As" in my Outlook - but that's another topic. Issue at hand, after turning the Wireless Syncronization OFF, checking my Default services and following any advice here on the forums. I now can't get ANY of my contacts to sync from Outlook to my device. Except 2 random contacts. When I go to sync, it registers the address book and asks if I want to delete 8XX contacts from Outlook to Device, which I DON't!Anyway, long winded.

I am also syncing the Calender, which works fine, but when I sync the contacts also, I get the following error message ox80040Fb3
I have the latest software verson of the Blackberry User Tools, and I have tried un-installing and re-installing again, but the same error comes up.
If I only sync the contacts from the phone to Outlook then this works, but I cannot sync both ways or from Outlook to the phone. My last phone was a Blackberry Pearl, which I had no problems syncing with Outlook. The Blackberry User Tools Version for the Pearl was Version 4.3, which I re-installed and tried that, but I still got the same error.
I'm thinking it must be a problem with the software on the phone, as the problem didn't happen with my other Blackberry, and it's happening with both versions of software.
I am using Vista Home Premium, with Office XP. Does anyone have any ideas?
Just had all my contacts transferred from old phone to new phone but when I sync using desktop it doesn't put them in my outlook contacts.

I still have all the contacts on my device. When I synced my device with my laptop it only synced those 11 contacts. I can't get the other 1200+ into Outlook on my computer. Help!

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
The contacts in outlook have only my new contact info (1 contact) and the desktop and wireless software want to synchronize with this folder. The sync works between the two devises however it does not recognize the loads of contacts that are on my blackberry devise. I have tried all of the options on the advanced sync option to try toget outlook to download the contact from the Blackberry 9700. How do I get these two to synchronize?

I would like to sync my contacts but currently have that setting turned to "off" because I want to add my Outlook contacts but not lose my contacts on my phone. I have Curve 8310. In the past when I opened Outlook and my emails downloaded, they disappeared from from Blackberry and I like that. My computer recently crashed and I had to download the latest BB Desktop. Now the emails will only delete from my Blackberry manually.

Just got a 950XL. New to Windows Phone. My old Note 3's Android Gmail client was able to automatically download picture attachments. I think I checked off all the right boxes in my Outlook's settings but pics don't download until I click on the icon.
Is there a trick I'm missing?
It's very annoying to get multiple pictures in a message but need to click each picture icon and wait for it to download. In my Android Gmail client, if I wait long enough (not long), the picture would all be there and waiting by the time I open the message.
