BB Bold 9650 :: New Desktop Manager Will Not Allow Synchronization With Outlook Organizer

I upgraded to new Desktop Manager - 6.47 and now I can't sych my organizer data.I always get a message that wireless sychronization is in place but when I check this is not true.There are not even options to synchronize - memo pad, contacts, and tasks on my device.I even shut off all wireless services and still no change.Can't get satisfaction for Blackberry so called support.

BB Bold 9650 :: Limits Of Contact Synchronization With Outlook

I have a Bold 9650 with Verizon and I set everything up to sync with outlook 2007 properly and it only picks up 2 contacts. I am running windows XP with the latest version of desktop manager. It syncs calender, memo pad etc fine but will only do those same two contacts each time. I have played with all the different settings within BB desktop manager but did not want to play with settings in outlook.

Hopefully someone can help I'm trying to add apps with DM. When I click the App button I get a popup screen that says I need the latest version of DM and click to update. The link takes me to the BB site for software, but it directs me to the same version of DM I already have. I've even uninstalled and installed again hoping that would help.I read in the BB troubleshooting forum that the most current is 1.0.3 build 23, but the one I'm using is build 19. Which is also the one that is linked to on the site I'm just lost how do I get to build 23?I also posted this in the Mac section a couple days ago, but no response.

When I am trying to add/remove applications using Desktop Manager, I get the error message:Validation failed because a module marked for update (net_rim_bb_qm_api) is not available on local disk.How do I fix this?

I have a Storm 2...My carrier is Verizon.I work on a PC..I put most of my calendar items first on the device.I would like to put calendar items on both device and outlook to have them sync.I have reconfigured synchronization on Desktop Manager a bunch of times.I am not able to migrate existing calendar items on my device to outlook on my desktop.I also have a problem with double items appearing on my device from time to time.

I have a person who when I make the connection between their BB Desktop Manager and their Outlook Profile all of a sudden outlook sends all incoming email to the Junk E-mail folder.Another behavior is that if I add the sender to the Safe Sender List, the next email from that person will show up in both the outlook Inbox and the Junk-Email folder.Any help would be great as I think I have everything setup correctly.If I break just the email outlook profile connection the problem goes away. AKA, Outlook doesn't put emails into the junk folder that shouldn't go there.

I have a Blackberry 8520 curve which does the job perfectly apart from one little problem im having. I sync my calender with Outlook few times a week which works fine when I sync one way. Phones > Outlook. unplug, replug, Outlook to Phone.If I try and sync both ways, it just doesnt happen and gives me some error message. I'm using windows 7 and have the latest Desktop Manager software.

So why does Desktop Manager force me to use it? I despise Outlook and have for years. I've always used Thunderbird for email. If Blackberry wants to squirrel away my data in Outlook, I guess I can't do anything about that. At least it is somewhere. But why is Desktop Manager incapable of locating Outlook unless it is set as default email? I'm about tired of setting it just to sync my calendar and then resetting it when I am done.

I have recently purchased a new laptop that uses the Windows 7 operating system. I downloaded Desktop Manager for this new PC and when I try to configure the synchronization with my Blackberry to Outlook 2007 I keep getting a runtime error.

I spoke with technical support at Verizon and they told me that I was not able to sync my Blackberry to Outlook because it is not yet compatible with Windows 7.

Can anyone verify if that is true and know if Blackberry will soon be able to use all sync options - email, contacts, etc. - with Windows 7? I know have to continue to sync with another PC.

There is an internet connection, but i do not have the password to go online (we have a Token because it is the notebook of the company i am working for). If the Desktop Software tries to get online, it does not find the connection. (Proxy) Is there a possibility to sync with outlook, without going online first. When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).

The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.

I have tried to locate File Manager under Organiser on my C903, but I have had no success. I have reinstaled the software twice now but it has made no difference on the results. It might well be a problem with the software and in the manual it says go to Menu then Organiser and then File Manager.

Bold 9650 with Verizon will not allow me to reload BB Device Software. It displays the dreaded Error 513 -failed to install device driver, an Unspecified Error [hex code]. Popped battery, fully charged, retried 3+ times, upgraded BB Desktop software to Ver.7.1.0.32 (Bundle 33). Rebooted PC too, all to no avail.All started with trying to log into BB to get sync working again. Then hit max password attempts and some erroneous post on BB said you must allow Password File to reset and it won't delete all your files...WRONG. It sure does delete all and still no chance to reset the PW. So now I have a little brick.

I've unistalled Destop Manager, reverted back to 5.0.0 and I still have the same issue. This was and is currently setup with my Outlook 2003 (SP3) exchange server to forward my work emails, and it worked up until I updated to 5.0.1 last week.

Purchased the new Bold 9650 from Verizon the other day and am having trouble with the device switch wizard when I try to switch from my Storm to the Bold. When I get to the Device Selection Screen at the bottom it says "The device does not have enough space for your selections. Select fewer applications." The only things selected are default things. I've tried deselecting everything possible and I still get this message.

When I try to sync my contacts the desktop manager reads all the contacts on the blackberry and on Outlook but when it finally comes to syncing up it says 'unable to access local folders. If your outlook profile uses a hotmail connector, you much create a local data store.' I do not use a hotmail connector so I don't know what to do to make this work.

I have been going through this forum for a while and have tried all of the fixes that I can find to no avail. I have a brand new Windows 7 64-bit machine, that never had the Desktop Manager installed. I have installed version 5.01 off of the web site. Windows is able to see the Blackberry in the Device Manager just fine and I can also see the internal storage available under My Computer and I can access all folders. The Virtual Ports (COM3 and COM4) are also available in Device Manager.

I went through and followed the clean uninstall and reinstall instructions and various other suggestions that I have already seen. For whatever reason, the Desktop Manager still won't see the BB. When going into Options in the Desktop Manager, it shows that USB is selected but still nothing under PIN.I am connected to the straight USB port on the back of the computer and have tried several there.

I am with T-mobile with a Blackberry 9700 v5.0.0.330 (Platform 5.1.0.91)

I am having difficulty syncing my device to my computer.

I am running Vista 32 bit on a Dell Inspiron 1525.

I have downloaded Desktop Manager 5.0.1 B49 MultiLanguage - Without Media Manager successfully and downloaded the latest version (I have seen elsewhere that this version is suggested for the bold 9700).

My computer recognizes the device but from the Found New Hardware prompt as a RIM Composite Device but In the desktop manager it says that there is no device plugged in.

I have also turned on media card support and mass storeage mode.

I cannot find the appropriate driver through the device manager either.

I did a couple battery pulls and connection re-tries in different usb ports.
