View 4 RepliesI have bought BB Torch 9810 recently. And dowloaded latest version of BB Desktop software. I tried to synchronize the BB contact with Outlook 2007. However, it is taking 5 hours or more to do the same. And even after giving so much of time, it gives errors and only partial contacts are transferred to Outlook. (Previously I was using BB Torch and the sync was just taking 2-3 minutes).
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe contacts in outlook have only my new contact info (1 contact) and the desktop and wireless software want to synchronize with this folder. The sync works between the two devises however it does not recognize the loads of contacts that are on my blackberry devise. I have tried all of the options on the advanced sync option to try toget outlook to download the contact from the Blackberry 9700. How do I get these two to synchronize?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

View 24 Replies View RelatedI just recently changed my phone from Bold 9000 to Bold 9700. Using Desktop Manager 5.0.1.37 and on Vista sp2 and Outlook 2007. I used to be able to sync perfectly ok with my Bold 9000, and since I changed my phone to Bold 9700, it wont sync my calendar - as if it skips the calendar completely. I've tried a number of suggestions from this forum including deleting the intellisync folder and resetting the sync setup, hard resetting the phone, and nothing works. I'm running out of ideas.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
I have a brand new Blackberry Bold 9700 - just started it up. I set up synchronization with Outlook and everything went smoothly. The Device Manager log shows that Memo Pad data was transferred to the device. But I cannot find the Memo Pad Icon (or the Task icon or the Search Icon...). I've looked everywhere. From reading other posts, it appears that I may have to reinstall the device operating system. Is that the case? If so, it's pretty discouraging to have to do this with a brand new BB.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just switched from a Windows Mobile phone to a BB 9000. I live in Cyprus and have subscribed to the local BIS service offered here. So I sync with my PC via USB cable. Everything seems to be working fine, apart from the calendar. It appears to sync, asks me to accept changes, which I do, but the new entries do not appear in my Outlook calendar. Am I missing something simple?

Also my wireless sync is turned on but does not seem to work....
I got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
I have just upgraded from a Curve 8310 to a Curve 9300. The former was set up to sync with Outlook 2007 with no problems using an older version of the Desktop software. I have now installed the Version 6 software. The 9300 has "Outlook" as an option but refuses to accept the settings and will not Sync. Strangely, I can set it to Sync with Yahoo but Yahoo no longer seems to support Blackberry and my Calendar won't now appear at all in Yahoo after attempting to Sync.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI had been able to send/receive email on both my iphone and Outlook accounts until 3 days ago. On Friday, I connected my iphone 4s directly to my computer, synced it and installed an update to my Iphone. (I believe it was 5.1?) After that, I have had problems with my email going to my outlook account. Now I have spokent with my ISP and Microsoft and the problem is still not fixed. I currenly can send/receive email from my iphone but if I set up my email on outlook I can only send emails but not receive them. In addition I cannot receive email on my iphone4s but I can send them. I have followed every written instruction from both Charter and Microsoft that I have been given without a solution to the problem. currently I have email working on my iphone since I removed my email setting from outlook.
