BB Bold 9700 :: MS Office Synchronization
Jan 27, 2010Just got a BlackBerry bold 9700 smatphone (on O2 UK). (nice phone!) I'm tryng to syncronise my phone with my work PC so that I can access my Outlook calender at home + put my Outlook contacts on my phone. I have instaled BlackBerry Desktop manager then I went to "syncronize" on the main menu. On the left had side there is a tab that says "syncronizatin" (i cliked on it). I then hit Synchronization. I have selected ALL the device applications i.e. calender, memo pad, address book and tasks then hit OK. I then get an error measage as follows:
"Synchronization is currently unavailable for: Address Book because the application(s) is (are) configured for wireless synchronization. Desktop synchronization for the above application(s) will be disabled. Please click on "Help" for information on how to disable wireless synchronization on your device."

Nov 23, 2011The synchronization between my computer and my Bold 9700 say "progressing"... for the last 30 minutes...I really start to believe that Blackberry is a bad product... if is not a problem with synchronization is my tablet or my phone...I had installed version OS 6... Please let me know if you have any suggestion or a fix... I need to have my information on both sides...(computer and phone Bold) ASAP....

Jul 20, 2010When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.

Feb 15, 2012I just bought a 9930 Bold an am trying to sync my contacts from Microsoft Outlook using Blackberry Desktop Software. I can only sync about half of them and then I get a message " Synchronization Error - An error has occurred during an attempt to access a file on the computer". The sync was working perfectly with my old 9650 Bold. I am able to sync calendar, notes and tasks O.K. but just have this problem with the contacts.

There is an internet connection, but i do not have the password to go online (we have a Token because it is the notebook of the company i am working for). Jun 11, 2012Did a software update this morning on my Bold 9900. When I went to Sync, I received a Synchronization Error message as it was synching the calendar. There was no number only an appointment date and event which does not exist in either Outlook 2010 or the Blackberry calendar. Upon receiving the error message, the synch stops. I did a replace all calendar events from the computer to the device, which went fine. But the problem was not resolved. I deleted all calendar events from the device, then did a replace all calendar events from the computer to the device, but that did not solve the problem.

Jan 8, 2010I installed the OVI, and I found i can't synchronize the outlook calendars, which i get the error code 8xxxxxx. I remove all Nokia software as one post indicated.
I removed pc suite, ovi suite, pc connection, cable software etc.

Oct 16, 2010i'm having some issues syncing my music files. When I try and synchronize on BlackBerry Desktop Software I get the error; "Some files were not synchronized. There was insufficient space or the BlackBerry device was disconnected." I've checked the memory on my media card and it has 1.4GB free, and yet even if i try to copy 3 or 4 music files I get this error. I have also synced video files on to the phone with no problems, but it still wont copy the music files. In options, under 'Store media on' I have my media card selected, so I have no idea why it will not sync the music.

May 4, 2010I have a brand new Blackberry Bold 9700 - just started it up. I set up synchronization with Outlook and everything went smoothly. The Device Manager log shows that Memo Pad data was transferred to the device. But I cannot find the Memo Pad Icon (or the Task icon or the Search Icon...). I've looked everywhere. From reading other posts, it appears that I may have to reinstall the device operating system. Is that the case? If so, it's pretty discouraging to have to do this with a brand new BB.
