ok im wonder i have a new 9650 with no camera i got myself a camera and installed it in the uif board now im trying to launch the application in order to use it but i have no luck i tried everything on the desktop manager for me to be able to install or activate the camera and went trough the phone options
View 4 RepliesSo Verizon replaced my 3 week old 9650 because 9 out of 10 times that I went to launch the camera, the device would go into a soft reboot! Guess what - my 3-day old replacement 9650 is doing the same thing! And yes, I'm just using the new 2GB SD card that it came with.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI deleted the camera icon because on my Blackberry tour, you could access the camera option by going to media, and then going to pictures. For whatever reason, in this newest version, you cannot.
So my accident, I did delete the icon. And now, i have no idea how to get it back. I tried a couple backup features on the desktop manager, and have tried to do a couple other things and to no avail.
Every single time I open my phone after a 24 hour period, the phone shuts down and resets. EVERY, SINGLE, TIME & this problem only began with the last OS update!
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I take a pic with my 9650 camera, the pic does not immediately go to my memory card. I have to do a soft reset or a battery pull before the pix will show up on my card with all my other pics.
Is anyone else having this problem? I have already had TWO bolds and both of them did the same thing. I have looked at different settings i could change, but had no luck.

While all the features are good.. the problem is with camera when i start the camera it displays a black screen ..all the camera functions work though and it can take photos..only the display becomes black..when we rotate the device the black screen disappears for a moment and then reappears...

And in the movie they are making a call to another party, and during that called, the other party are showing live video from their back camera.. I mean a real live video.. So.. I'm wondering.. If that feature could possibly apply to my new 9700?Meanwhile,I had try it.. But it won't work.. N there is no sign of any video call on the menu list.. Am I being cheated by the movie? Or just because needed a new application to go with it 2 support that kind of situation?Is anybody here could help me with my confusion here? A friend is having troubles with his Z3 : He used to take pictures with the quick camera launch button, but since a recent camera or system update, when he use this button, the camera is set to automatic mode instead of manual, with poor resolution and quality settings. If he launches the camera with the standard button from the phone menu, everything is fine and perfectly set up.
When the camera is used from the quick button and set back to the correct quality settings and manual mode, after closing it, it goes back to auto mode with bad settings. Same thing when he slides the camera icon from the locked screen. The only way to get the proper settings when launching the camera is to use the icon from the phone's menu.
He tried a lot of things, from uninstalling the camera updates to searching everywhere on the internet, there is no information or messages about this problem.
I used my Droid Turbo a month ago to shoot some outdoor pictures and the camera worked great. Today, however I attempted to use the camera and the app froze and the phone rebooted. I uninstalled the built-in camera updates and reinstalled them and the result was the same - load the app and the phone reboots. I tried installing another camera app and the result was the same as the built-in camera app.

Next is when you take picture. When u go to photo albums. You see a link below saying open in Nokia camera. How come pics have that link and others don't? I took some smartcam pics too look at later and can't open it up and do the action shots and other stuff.
When I doube tap the home button to use the camera from the home screen, it sort of 'hops' up about 1/2 a cm, but then bounces back down without opening the camera app, this is only since the upgrade to 5.1. I tried a hard reset, but no joy (and no shortcut to the camera either!!)

It flickers like an old television, a fade of black. Most of the time it works fine but there are random times it flickers, does this happen to anyone other than me? or my iPhone is defective, Anyone perhaps have an idea what causes this flickering* I facetime and skype video alot, also the iPhone gets warm very close to hot point while using facetime or skype videocalls.
