BB Bold :: 9650 Resets Every-time When Open The Camera?
Jun 17, 2011Every single time I open my phone after a 24 hour period, the phone shuts down and resets. EVERY, SINGLE, TIME & this problem only began with the last OS update!

IPhone 5s :: Camera Crashes Every Time Open It
Aug 21, 2014Everytime i try and open the camera app it just crashes, it doesnt show anything on the screen it just goes straight back to the home screen. I'm not able to use the camera in any application either. I've tried pressing on the rear camera and that hasn't worked yet. i have factory reset it and restored it many times. I took it to my verizon store.

Aug 18, 2011My camera cannot be open. I am always getting a message saying that the camera is being used by another application,but there seems no other applications running. The firmware version was 2.1 -update1 at first and after updating it with the same version, the problem still exists with very short standby time.

My wife loves to read so I went to the Blackberry App World and downloaded the app FREEBOOKS on her phone, the app itself installed just fine but every time I try to download a book for her, and even sometimes just SEARCHING for a book, it will give me an error message that reads

Can someone PLEASE possibly help with this problem OR direct me to the correct section that can assist me. I have been to my Verizon store and they were absolutely NO help after waiting for over an hour.

Jul 2, 2010I have a Bold 9650 through Verizon, first time Blackberry user.I'm curious if there is a way to limit the refresh rate for Facebook or e-mail. I've heard of other users of Blackberry phones controlling this. Is it possible? I've heard that it can help a little with battery life. My phone is constantly blowing up with Facebook notifications and its a little annoying now.

Jul 20, 2010I have a new 9650 running on Verizon, OS 5.0.0.732. Lately there has been an issue with the lock screen not updating the time and some of the message alerts don't appear, until I unlock the phone. This is not the keyboard lock, but the lock that requires a password (corporate IT policy).Is there a way to fix this? The time is set to auto-update from the network. This started a few weeks ago and is very annoying. Sometimes it will update while locked if I activate the screen and let it sit for a minute but other times it won't at all while locked.Anyone else having this issue?

I've just now experienced this in the course of fixing another issue.
Normally in spite of how much i change ROMS whenever I set time manually and uncheck network derived time the date/ time maintains across restarts, now it doesnt.
What I did so far:
clean ROM not dirty flashed
switching between stock OMNI and Minux OMNI
all combinations of option in date/ time settings while
Each and everytime after reset the date time is 13 Aug 1970. Even if is set to automatic that date briefly appears before a connection to the net is made.

Jul 11, 2010So Verizon replaced my 3 week old 9650 because 9 out of 10 times that I went to launch the camera, the device would go into a soft reboot! Guess what - my 3-day old replacement 9650 is doing the same thing! And yes, I'm just using the new 2GB SD card that it came with.

Jul 18, 2010I deleted the camera icon because on my Blackberry tour, you could access the camera option by going to media, and then going to pictures. For whatever reason, in this newest version, you cannot.
So my accident, I did delete the icon. And now, i have no idea how to get it back. I tried a couple backup features on the desktop manager, and have tried to do a couple other things and to no avail.

Jun 25, 2014I got a Nokia Lumia 1520 last week. Coming from an HTC One (M7), I am still impressed with the smoothness of Windows Phone OS -rarely I get any loading for an app. Moreover Metro has come a long way since the days of ZuneHD.
However I got a slight problem with the date/ time. Both the date and time gets reset back to 20 July 2013, 03:00 after the battery runs out or I try a soft reset.I already tried:
1) Setting the time on manual; it will reset back to manual time and the date/time above.
2) Setting the time on automatic, will still get reset back to manual and the wrong date/time.
3) Instead of setting the phone on 4G, I used the 3G and automatic. Same as above.
4) Setting the date manually and then to automatic, keeps the date/time I setup manually.
5) Turning the device off and on again (not soft reset with the volume key) will keep the date/ time regardless if it was set manually or manually and then automatically.

However recently this no longer work, which is really annoying.I don't know how it used to remember it, but is it a capacitor and could this be broken? Jul 2, 2010no matter what settings I use on the 9650 "Memory" settings. I cann't get any computer (Windows 7 or XP Pro) to recognize the device as "mass storage device" so I can access the memory card. There is plenty of items on the card, and I can access them fro mthe decive, but the computer won't "find" it. This is with DM 5.0 and 4.7, on windows XP Pro and Windows 7.

Jul 8, 2010I purchased the 9650 bold a few weeks ago. I do not do a lot of texting, but when I do, the texts are pretty long. On my old BB I hit the back arrow key and it saved to draft, (i would often have 4-5 texts in draft before I sent all out) If im not mistaken you cant do this on the new 9650?? Do I need to get an application to assist with this? ANy suggestions? Sorry if this is a rookie question but...Im a rookie when it comes to these phones.

Jun 21, 2010When I upgraded my 9630 to my new bold 9650 I had a 16gb micro sd card in the 9630. I copied all of the files from my card to my computer, put the 16gb card in my 9650 and formatted the card. I then copied all of the files from my computer back to the sd card and put the card back in the 9650. All seems to be ok, I have my pictures etc. When I go to connect my BB 9650 to my computer I get a message on the BB that says: "Content rights do not match this device. Please insert the media card back to the right device." this only happens if I have the memory option set to "Auto enable mass storage mode storage set to NO" Any ideas?

Jun 8, 2010Is anyone else having trouble using the "Vibrate in Holster" setting? My 8330 would automatically switch to vibrate when I put it in my holster that has the magnetic closure. My 9650 fits in the same holster but doesn't seem to switch to vibrate even though I have that setting chosen under my sounds profiles.
