Mar 21, 2010I joined Nokia Messaging service, downloaded the last version software using my Nokia E71 phone. When I signed for the service it asked me for my email account details, so I could not put the settings manually. The hotmail account works fine, but the other account cannot send messages. I cannot change the outgoing settings using my phone and I cannot edit the information on the nokia messaging website.
The incoming server seems to be ok (mail1.doctors.org.uk) but I cannot change the server details : smtp2.realmail-asp.co.uk. My provider is Tmobile (they gave me this: smtp.t-email.co.uk) they were not helpful and told me that they mainly support blackberry. My email accounts were working fine until I installed Nokia Messaging. I find Nokia Messaging very professional for messaging, but unsure if I will be able to make it work.

Aug 30, 2012I have set up a number of e-mail accounts on my Milestone 2 in the UK. G-Mail and btinternet work perfectly (and set up automatically). However, I am trying to set up a couple of business accounts (.co.uk and .eu domains), and althought they work ok in most respects (they pick up all incoming e-mails, and also copies of outbound e-mails created on my laptop), the phone does not seem to be able to reliably send e-mails: they get stuck in the outbox.

Unless I am connected to WiFi, I am unable to create an "Email" account and I can't send emails through Mobile Data. After being given the runaround, I am officially saying that there IS a problem with the default "Email" app and NOT my service provider. I downloaded Yahoo Mail app directly to my phone and, guess what, I can send and receive emails just fine through my Mobile Data where I can' do it at all when I try to set up my Yahoo Mail account through the default "Email" app.

I was able to send and receive emails for about 3 days, then I suddenly stopped receving emails.I can send email from my outlook address, my Sent Items appear and my Outlook calendar items appear on the blackberry calendar.I'm just not receiving emails through the Inbox.I've contacted my carrier and my IT department at work, but no one can figure out why I'm not getting emails on the Curve.The usual fixes aren't working.

Aug 27, 2014My iPhone "lost" the password to my email account. I tried reentering the password but no luck. Deleted account and reinstalled. Still said password was incorrect. I can log on to the account via the web so I know the log in is good and the account is working. I installed a daughter account on the phone and that went fine. Tried installing the troubled account on my iPad and got the same password incorrect. In addition I've done the following:Â
Called ISP tech support
Called Applecare
Gone to Genius Bar
Reset phone
Reset network settings
Restored phone from backup.
Checked for profiles
Made sure I was logged out of the account when installing
Checked settings in iCloud. email doesn't sync to cloud or computer.Â
Next thing to try is to see if I can get the account installed on an Android device.
