I have a Bold 9700.I am unable to access my work Outlook Account.I have followed the BlackBerry Internet Service site guidance and manually entered the information related to the outlook account and still I can not get access.Am I missing some kind of software that will allow be to access outlook accounts?

View 7 Replies View RelatedA couple of weeks ago my employer gave me a password to activate my Outlook account for my Curve 8530. I was able to send and receive emails for about 3 days, then I suddenly stopped receving emails.I can send email from my outlook address, my Sent Items appear and my Outlook calendar items appear on the blackberry calendar.I'm just not receiving emails through the Inbox.I've contacted my carrier and my IT department at work, but no one can figure out why I'm not getting emails on the Curve.The usual fixes aren't working.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI sync my BB with Outlook via Google Calendar so the process goes Blackberry to Google Calendars to Outlook via a cable on my PC.
The problem I have is:
Create a calendar item in Outlook -> shows up fine in OWA and on the BB.
Create a calendar item on BB -> shows up in Outlook but not in OWA.
Anyone else come across this? Surely OWA reads the same info as the Outlook client? Why isnt it seeing the calendar item created on the BB?
I have a Microsoft outlook email account at work and we have to change our password every two months or so. I changed mine this morning and went to change it on my blackberry but it won't take the new password. It comes up with the following: "Please verify your email account information. The information you provided is incorrect" What am I doing wrong?

View 13 Replies View RelatedI have been a crackberry user since 1999.I have also been on my corporate Blackberry server for as long as I can remember so I am used to everything being wireless and integrated.Well, the company I am going to does not have the BB server. They do have Outlook Web so I know I can setup my 9700 to "connect" via the OWA service using BIS. My question is for those who do this in a "corporate" environment...
*How well does the Calendar syncing work? Can I really Accept the invite in my BB and then find it properly sync to my calendar when I plug in?
*I am assuming that I won't have the "read message reconciliation" available so is it true I won't have a copy of my Sent Mail from my BB in Outlook when I go back to my desk?
*Back to the calendar, if I accept the invite from my BB, I assume the invite is still in my Outlook Inbox in an "un-accepted" state. Any issues here with accepting it a second time?
*I assume Contacts will sync (not as big a deal)
The company told me "most of the users have an iPhone" and I know iPhone works (no wonder everone I interviewed with had one...). I am just not sure I want to go there. So I am looking for insight from the community before I give up my 10-year passion for the BB and go to an iPhone ((shudder)).
I have a problem with a new blackberry bold 9700 i have just bought. I live in bolivia and i purchased this phone, asked in the store if it is compatible with my network etc and we tested with my sim. It worked fine for calls and got a 3g signal.When i returned home I tried configuring the internet access andn could not get this to work. So today i took it to my provider and asked a tech to configure and he said that i must first buy a "plan blackberry" for it to work - ok i said ad went to change my plan to plan blackberry - but after i had this the tried to set it up and then tell me that the phone is locked to only use at & t blackberry service.
So my questions are ..
1. - is this true?
2. can i unlock this somehow?
seems unfair that i have paid full price for a phone that is tied to a network that doesn't exist in my country - it was imported legally - if i cannot change it.
I'm not able to access email account setup since installing the latest OS. Is there a way to revert to the earlier version?

Basically I can't get to the home screen, I have a password on my phone, soon as I try to unlock it the phone locks up.
I've done a battery pull and removing the SD card and the SIM but no joy.
But if I use the phone to make calls its fine.
Its really weird to say the least.
It could be the password causing it, is there anyway for me to disable the password outside of the phone itself? Such as using desktop manager? Or should I just bite the bullet and update the firmware?
My Bold 9780 got the white screen of death. I have sent it off to get fixed, but while that is happening I have switched back to my old Bold 9700. When I try moving my old email account it says to put my email password in. I put the right password in and when I press activate it says 'Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again.' I have tried logging in again multiple times but it still doesn't work, what shall I do???

* WiFi: What settings do I have to change so that my blackberry does transmit all data via WiFi and not GPRS or 3G? I do not have a data plan and don't want one

I got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter the recent GB update on my Droid X2 I am no longer able to access my outloook webmail url using the browser. Before being forced to take the GB update, I could type in https://webmail.medplus.com. I would get a certificate message and after hitting continue I would get the prompt for user name and password. I've tried other browsers with no luck. I've spent hours on the phone with Verizon support and we've narrowed it down to only phone that have GB software. I had this exact same issue with my Droid X when I got that GB update and moved to the X2 because that wasn't supposed to get GB. I've tried other android phones and those without GB I can access the site without issue.
Is anyone else having trouble accessing an outlook webmail url thru their browser with the GB update? My suspicion is that after the update google isn't playing well with microsoft as I've noticed some issues with hotmail post update that didn't exist preupdate.

The contacts in outlook have only my new contact info (1 contact) and the desktop and wireless software want to synchronize with this folder. The sync works between the two devises however it does not recognize the loads of contacts that are on my blackberry devise. I have tried all of the options on the advanced sync option to try toget outlook to download the contact from the Blackberry 9700. How do I get these two to synchronize?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to read individual emails when using the Outlook Web Access site in the internet browser window.I am using this to check work email and would rather do it this way (over the internet) than using the e-mail client that is part of the device. I'm able to log-in to my inbox and see everything I should see, however when I try clicking on an individual email to read it, nothing happens. I've tried clicking on the sender's name, the subject line and everything else on the line for that email. When I do that nothing happens.Am I doing this wrong? Is there somewhere else I'm suppose to click? Is there possibly some setting that needs to be turned on or maybe one that is on that should be unchecked?Any help would really, really be appreciated.

I already had a Samsung account so went through the set up process on the phone and successfully set up the Samsung account on the phone using my Samsung account details. Able to go into Apps, Settings, Accounts, Samsung account and can see my email. The Samsung account syncs without problem and I can download apps through the Galaxy Apps site.
Now the issue, using the phone whilst in the Samsung account I select Profile so I can check my profile details but when I enter my password and select confirm, the phone shows a green & blue wheel with the words "In Progress" then the screen momentarily goes blank and then the same blue wheel with the words "In Progress" reappears and stays on the screen and that is as far as it goes. The phone is trying to open the Profile page but just continues showing the blue wheel with the words "In Progress".
I can log into my account through the account.samsung.com web site and enter the Profile through the website and I can use Find my mobile to connect to the phone and ring the phone so the phone is linked to the account. I have done a factory reset on the phone and the same issue remains. I have even set up a different Samsung account and the new account also has the same issue. I have cleared the cache and data on the phones Samsung account and tried to get into the Profile with the same issue. I asked a work colleague with a S6 to also log into his Profile via the phone and he had the same problem so it appears to be an issue with the Samsung app.
I can no longer access my samsung account. I had previously disabled the app along with some other bloat. When I tried to access new themes I re-enabled the account app and corresponding apps as well. I can now no longer sync the account. Every time I go into Settings>Accounts, and select Samsung account it instantly opens and closes. I now can't sign in, or download themes. I cleared my cache already.
View 21 Replies View RelatedI can't access my Yelp account on the AT&T 3G network. I can't access it from either the app itself or if I attempt to use the browser. On the browser, I just get the error message that I've entered an invalid email and/or password when I haven't. I can only seem to access my account when I'm on a WIFI network. I've contacted Yelp & of course they'll get back to me within a week.

Shortly after I got my iPhone 4S, I added my gmail account to the mail app (not the gmail app),so that I could read my email on my phone, and specifically not using the Gmail app, but using the email app, and adding the Gmail account as an Exchange Server so that my Google Contacts would sync to the device. It worked for weeks. Now, suddenly, it says wrong password whenever I try to check my email. I have removed it and added it back. I did not change anything on my email account configuration that would cause this.
Since it happened, though, I have removed the account and re-added it. It seems that it would stop me from adding the account if I were using the wrong password, but it lets me add the account with no problem, and only gives the wrong password message after that, when it tries to begin downloading emails.
I have typed in the password enough times today to make sure that I am typing it in correctly. I have been able to log into my gmail account via the web successfully (proving that I do know my own password). I even downloaded and installed the gmail app and was able to use it to get to my email. But that leaves my phone with zero contacts, because I keep all my contacts in Google Contacts, and the Gmail app doesn't seem to add any contacts to the contacts list on the phone. I need it to work the way it was set up & working before today. I don't know if Apple changed something, if Google changed something, or what. I would think that there would be others using this functionality who may be similarly stuck.
So my question is: How can I access my Gmail account from my iphone and have my google contacts brought into the phone's contact list, and constantly synchronized with Google contacts, like I had going before today? With the addition of iCloud, it gets really confusing really quick. The simple solution that I was using was so nice. I will be sad if it is gone for good...
