Attempted various browser settings options and still unable to access secure(https) websites... the message ""... Returned an error when attempting to fulfill your request... I have also attempted access through opera mini, here I manage to get to the https site however the login process fails. Appreciate your guidance in resolving this.. N.B. I had no such problems with my old Nokia E71 ... I was hoping my new BB 9700 is an upgrade...

BB Bold 9700 :: Tiny Little Font On Websites
Just got my 9700 today, love it! Been messing with it all afternoon. One odd little thing, tho'.the font on websites is soooo tiny its ridiculous. Also my Quicklaunch that I brought over from my other phone, just this tiny little box comes up and again with tiny font. How can I fix this??

BB Bold 9700 :: Internet - Cannot Completely Load Many Websites At All
I have just purchased a new bold 9700 and iam very dissapointed with the web browsing. I had a unlocked storm that I broke. I cannot completely load very many websites at all. The websites seem to load halfway and then stop. Called at&t, they tested the phone said it was fine and they informed me that the bold didnt have the same capabilites as the storm. Can someone let me know if this is true? If so then returning the phone and getting another storm.

BB Bold 9700 :: Can't Click On Certain Buttons On Websites
I am not sure if I "activated or de-activated" something when adjusting things on my Bold.But now, when I am on different sites, I can not click on certain buttons to perform certain funtions. Examples:In my downloads, I opened Mobile Banking for the first time. The Blackberry disclaimer appeared and I tried to click the "I agree" button, but nothing happened.While on another website "411.com" I tried to click on a similar button to perform the search, and again did not do anything. What did I do to screw this up?These worked for me in the past, so that is why I think I changed a setting that screwed this up. Any ideas what I need to do to correct this?

BB Bold 9700 :: Cannot Access New Emails
I recently got my first blackberry bold 9700 and have started experiencing problems with the emails. When I receive a new email I go to click into the message but when its loaded it from a previous email and not the email I am trying to access. Then if I know I do not want to open the email and just delete when I click to delete it deletes a previously saved email or bbm message.

BB Bold 9700 :: Can't Access Wi-Fi
So I connected my 9700 to my Wireless router and it shows me that the connection is successfull but if I turn off my Mobile Network to just access the net via Wi-Fi nothing seems to be happening as if there was no connection.I tried doing the battery pull but no help In the Service Status it shows: Active Profile: Matrix (my WAN) SSID: Matrix Type:802.11b/g

What is the easiest way to tether my berry to my laptop? I am a small business owner, and I often do work late at night in my truck, with no access to WiFi. I remember a long time ago seeing a thread on it, but I recall it being slightly complicated/using commant prompt.

I'm having a bit of trouble deciding between the Nexus One and the Blackberry 9700. I've heard some problems with the Nexus One and the Blackberry 9700 seems to work perfectly fine, no problems at all. My phone will be used mostly for web browsing, sms and mms, and email (gmail). Which phone do you think is best for me? Anyone own both, care to share? Also either phone will be replacing my computer, since mine broke. BB Bold 9700 :: No Access To 3G Network With TMobile
I had my Bold 9700 delivered from Saudi Arabia. I was absolutely in love with the phone with its incredible speed and my favorite thing about it was the 3G network. It worked absolutely great in Egypt. When I moved back to the US (Ive been here 3 days now), I can only use T-Mobiles EDGE network. If I search manually for networks, it finds AT&Ts 3G network, but I cant use it since Im T-Mobile and not AT&T. When I went to the T-Mobile store, they told me that since T-Mobile didnt sell me the phone, my phone wouldnt find their 3G network. Any idea what I can do to fix this? The phone is brand new, and its a shame that I cant use its best feature

I have a problem with a new blackberry bold 9700 i have just bought. I live in bolivia and i purchased this phone, asked in the store if it is compatible with my network etc and we tested with my sim. It worked fine for calls and got a 3g signal.When i returned home I tried configuring the internet access andn could not get this to work. So today i took it to my provider and asked a tech to configure and he said that i must first buy a "plan blackberry" for it to work - ok i said ad went to change my plan to plan blackberry - but after i had this the tried to set it up and then tell me that the phone is locked to only use at & t blackberry service. So my questions are .. 1. - is this true? 2. can i unlock this somehow? seems unfair that i have paid full price for a phone that is tied to a network that doesn't exist in my country - it was imported legally - if i cannot change it.

BB Bold 9700 :: Unable To Access Home Screen
I figured this maybe a simple case of reloading the firmware but I wanted to know id nyone else had any insights. Basically I can't get to the home screen, I have a password on my phone, soon as I try to unlock it the phone locks up. I've done a battery pull and removing the SD card and the SIM but no joy. But if I use the phone to make calls its fine. Its really weird to say the least. It could be the password causing it, is there anyway for me to disable the password outside of the phone itself? Such as using desktop manager? Or should I just bite the bullet and update the firmware?

BB Bold 9700 :: Shutting Down Plugged To Charge - Cannot Access Pictures?
I am posting this thread for a friend who is having some serious issues with her BB 9700. It is a phone that was purchased from TMOBILE that was unlocked so that she can use with her Service provider. During this week gone, she plugged her bb into her PC and an error came up. the PC asked if to fix the error or contnue without scanning. She selected the latter. Then yesterday, when she plugged her phone in to charge it immediately shut off. After putting it back on she plugged it in again to charge and the same thing happened again. Since then, she is unable open her pictures in her media folder- She can only preview it.Also when she tries to send a picture via BBM she only sees two of the pictures that she has on her phone and is unable to select any of them to send to a contact.She also isn't able to change her profile picture in BBM.She has done countless battery pulls and the issues stated still exists. she was however able to charge her phone without it shutting down this morning. But all other issues mentioned still exists.She is running the OS that came with her Phone 5.0.0.330. She had an issue with her Phone previously and when she took it into our service provider they had to downgrade her OS back to stock for it to function properly.If anyone has any solution to the problems stated please reply to this post. Any help would be deeply appreciated. If anyone has had a similar problem and was able to fix it please let me know what u did. Also if anyone has any solutions that they think may help please let me know.

I have question. I have blacberry bold 9700. (v5.0.0.602) platform 2.1.0.112.My question is, I'm in the USN, Im taking courses online at Ashford University. I use my blackberry for school work, and personal uses. I was wondering is there any good browsers that allow you to access, student portals. BB Bold 9700 :: Gmail / IMAP Access Not Working Properly?
I just got my new BB 9700, and it's mostly setup. The only lingering issue I'm having is with Gmail and IMAP access. I've tried setting it up multiple times and it still does not seem to work properly.This leads me to think that I'm doing something wrong, hence why I'm here. So, to cut through it:I followed the directions posted here to setup IMAP access with Gmail. I logged into my Gmail account, enabled IMAP, and saved it. Then I added it to my BB by using the setup wizard. I got the confirmation email saying that everything was setup properly. So to test that it was, I tried sending myself an email from the BB (after waiting the recommended 30 minutes). An hour rolls by and no email shows up on my handheld. However, it does show up in my Gmail account online. So I sent a test email to a friend's blackberry.net account. She got it, and sent me a reply. That email DID successfully show up both online, and on my handheld.So I tried sending myself an email online to see if it shows on the BB. It doesn't. I've tried various setup combinations installing the plugin first, then adding the Gmail account, vice versa and the result is always the same. A few other anomalies I noticed is that my Gmail account always gets set up as POP. I do not see a way to force it to use IMAP. If I disable POP access in Gmail, delete and readd the account on my BB, POP access is magically re-enabled online. The Blackberry Gmail plugin seems to have no bearing on that. I uninstalled, and reinstalled that a few times too. So to make an already long story short, what I'd like to do is have full Gmail functionality on my BB. This includes access to labels, starring and all the other stuff the enhanced plugin is supposed to provide. Can anyone tell me what (if anything) I'm doing wrong? Is it a lot easier to just stick with Google's Gmail client? BTW I was using the dedicated 'xxxxxxx@gmail.com' shortcut on my phone and NOT the messaging app. I'm using a Bold 9700 with T-Mobile US. All the software on it is stock.

As I find myself becoming more and more addicted to crack(berry), I was wondering how most of you access these forums from your phone.When I first started checking out the forums, I always used my lapotop. But now I find that I rarely even turn my computer on.Is there an easier and/or better way to access the forums besides using the WAP address in the briowser?
