Sep 17, 2010I am having BB 9700 but that dosent have Word, Excel & Power point application. I can't access Word, Excel & Power point file. How can I get it?

Samsung Galaxy S II :: Microsoft Office File Validation / Polaris Office Files
May 15, 2012have just got a Samsung Galaxy S2 and created my first document on Polaris office, saving it as a .doc file. But when copying it to my computer and trying to open it, up flashes a Microsoft Office File Validation security alert, saying that a problem has been detected in trying to open the file and that opening it is probably dangerous and may allow a malicious user to take over my computer.I'm aware that there are issues with MOFV over reading some file formats -- has anyone come across this? Is it that MOFV can't read Polaris files, or is there the possibility of something sinister going on? I've run two different antivirus programme scans (installed on two different computers) on this file, which haven't flagged anything.

Jun 4, 2012I've been working on this now (i.e., researching blogs, google, etc.) for hours and it is NOT going well! I have a new Blackberry Bold 9900 that I need to sync with MS Office Outlook 2007, particularly the contacts and calendar. I am using OS7.1 Bundle 921 (v 7.1.0.267 Platform 5.1.0.230) and Desktop Manager. The config setting in DM for Contacts Account shows only Windows Contacts, with no option to change to Outlook. When I then attempt to sync, the process wants to add all the contacts in my BB to some unknown address book on the computer. My BB shows my BB contacts as "default", whatever that is. My frustration is mounting exponentially. I am a converted iPhone user that really wants to give RIM a chance, but this isn't going so well.

In the past i have used microsoft office to sync my contacts and calendar with my phone but just recently it will not sync my calendar. It only syncs my contacts. Its quite frusturating. Jan 27, 2010Just got a BlackBerry bold 9700 smatphone (on O2 UK). (nice phone!) I'm tryng to syncronise my phone with my work PC so that I can access my Outlook calender at home + put my Outlook contacts on my phone. I have instaled BlackBerry Desktop manager then I went to "syncronize" on the main menu. On the left had side there is a tab that says "syncronizatin" (i cliked on it). I then hit Synchronization. I have selected ALL the device applications i.e. calender, memo pad, address book and tasks then hit OK. I then get an error measage as follows:
"Synchronization is currently unavailable for: Address Book because the application(s) is (are) configured for wireless synchronization. Desktop synchronization for the above application(s) will be disabled. Please click on "Help" for information on how to disable wireless synchronization on your device."

Apr 20, 2010ive had my BB BOLD 9700 since 2 years and never had the need to link my office email to it till now so i tried to follow the setup
1- click setup
2- click setup email
3- click other
4- type my office email id and password
and its says success and i receive an email saying account activated and i will recieve emails in 20 mins BUT i can only SEND emails i CANNOTE RECIEVE any emails on my bold. when i check the settings its IMAP while my company server is on POP and on a different port.
if i try to edit my account i cannot change the IMAP to POP3.
BB Bold 9700 :: Stop Receiving Emails While In Office
Mar 31, 2010This is probably a simple one but any help would be appreciated.I am receiving my work email to my BB which is great, however some day's I am in the office at my desk, and on those day's I do not need to get my mail on my BB.
Is there any way to "pause" the receiving of emails while I am in the office, and then I can manually start receiving emails again once I am not at my desk, short of deleting and installing the account every time?
BB Bold 9700 :: Syncing To Calendar On Microsoft Outlook
Jan 10, 2010I am using Outlook 2000 on windows XP. I am trying to synch my bb to the calendar only. However it does not come up wih the Outlook option to highlight. I have copied the screen below as an example. You can see Microsoft Outlook is an option here. However on my pc/bb it only offers me ASCII or Yahoo as an application option? Where am I going wrong?
My old phone - Samsung Omnia - had no problem synching with Outlook Calendar. Interestingly, if I tick the contacts box, it offers Outlook Express as an application?

Aug 23, 2012After updating the 9930 to software 7.1 when the phone reboots using the option in App World after installing an app, I notice the phone cannot access the files stored on the memory card using a software reboot.Only by doing a battery pull does the phone recognise the media card contents and then I can access it. Therefore everytime I install an app I have to do a battery pull to restart the phone as the restart option from the App World in the phone makes the files on the media card not to be seen.This bug was not present before I did the upgrade to 7.1 bundle 1737?
