I`ve registerd on my bb account my work e-mail based on exchange 2010. using pop3 settings.Now when I`m receiving email on my computer after short time this message is forwarded to my BB and marked as read. Even if i`m not reading it.How to set up email that after forwarding message it will be still marked as unread.

For example, it received new email of July 30 and automically load the old email of May 30 again to the blackberry. The loading of old mail happens everyday. I am using BB9860 (OS7). After couple of days proper operation, now always i am getting 1 message as unread in email.
Even i have opened individually all the mails inthe inbox and marked as Read. But still showing 1 message as unread. If new 5 messages comes to the inbox then it shows as 6 message as unread. After reading 5 messages the alter goes back to 1 message as unread. how to clear this message.
I just purchased a Blackberry Curve 9300.. I sent an email (I have a yahoo account) using my blackberry to a friend on her Yahoo Mail address. I asked her to check whether she got my email and she said yes, although she did not open the email. The next time she opens her mail, my message was already marked as "Read".

I just got a new bb today and when all my data got transferred over, my new one is now saying that I have 3 unread messages. I've deleted all old messages, emails and voicemails. I also removed my email account from my phone and it is still there. I'm not sure what else to check or how to get rid of it.

However, when I open an e-mail on my desktop, my inbox on my phone is not updated to show that the e-mail has been opened. I have to go in an mark as read all of the items, which is a royal pain.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI updated my MBP to Yosemite 10.10.1 and also updated my 5s to 8.1.1 and had the option to forward text messages from my iPhone to my macbook, but now that option has disappeared. At first none of my messages were sending to my macbook but I managed to fix that, however, SMS messages will not send to my macbook and I don't have the option to get a code? I definitely did it before so at one point all the settings were correct.

One step forward 2 steps back! I had a problem with my e-mails I stopped receiving messages on Friday and since talking to the service centre I now have 2 icons on my main screen. The new one has a globe at the bottom and my email address at the top when I scroll over it. All very nice but totally unnecessary.
Since this icon has appeared all my emails on my main computer are being marked as read. They were not before Friday Any ideas??
The bar on the top of the screen between the "select a profile" and the "search magnifying glass" where the notifications pop up not sure what that page is called but in this slide down screen under Text Messages I have a text message that is staying at unread. Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Does anyone else have this problem and figure out a way to refresh and get ride of it? I've tried turning the device on and off a few times but doesn't fix the issue.

We use O2's hosted service via Exchange OWA. The email signature's all appear fine but the main body of the emails show as above.
my AOL email account keeps sending me emails although i have deleted the app and the service books! and the BIS thing wont work either!

*Mark all prior unread.
*Search saved
*Multiple battery pulls
*etc etc etc
None of this is working. Anyone know of any other fixes?
For the past few days my blackberry has said i have an unread bbm message then yesterday it started to say I have 2. I`ve tried taking out the battery deleting all chats and messages on my phone and also deleting bbm all together and even when i did this it still said I had the unread messages. I have no group updates nor have I synced a blackberry messenger contact with an existing phonebook contact. The only thing I think it may be is someone I`ve deleted trying to contact be but I`ve removed all deleted contacts from my ignored list so why arn`t the chats showing up?
View 4 Replies View RelatedRandomly, my bold restarted by itself (hasn't done this once since I upgraded the OS 3 months ago). Ever since it restarted, it's had the unread message icon saying I have 4 unread messages. I went to every folder and marked all prior unopened and checked to makesure nothing was unread. The icon wouldn't go away, it even stayed with the read star. Overnight, I got 6 new emails, so it told me I had 10 unread messages. I deleted the 6 new ones, and the icon is still there with the read star saying I have 10 unread now
Any ideas? I pulled the battery already twice and nothing
Okay..I've tried everything: Soft reset, hard reset [including holding alt, del & right shift], battery pull,
hidden folders, mark prior opened, using the Backup & Restore off of DM to erase the SMS messages
resending the service books.
It's not on the messages, but the SMS & MMS Message tab. And it's not just one, it says 22. And it's really annoying. Any ideas?
