When my emails push through to my BB, they are automatically marked as unread in my yahoo account on my PC even when they have not been read anywhere...not on my PC or on my BB. How can I keep my emails marked as "unread" on my PC until they have truly been read?

For example, it received new email of July 30 and automically load the old email of May 30 again to the blackberry. The loading of old mail happens everyday. The problem happens since my office PC was recovered the outlook data.

I had a problem with my e-mails I stopped receiving messages on Friday and since talking to the service centre I now have 2 icons on my main screen. The new one has a globe at the bottom and my email address at the top when I scroll over it. All very nice but totally unnecessary.
Since this icon has appeared all my emails on my main computer are being marked as read. They were not before Friday Any ideas??
For the last two weeks my curve is showing I have 6 unread email messages yet I have none.I searched the forum and it's not call logging as I had that turned off.Anybody have an idea what's causing this? I have double checked all my email accounts all to know avail.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy work Blackberry 8330, using Lotus Notes for email, will take an email I respond to, and within a minute or so of responding to that original email, the original email reverts to "unread" status. This happens every time. It is not "New, Unread", only "Unread". Emails replied to on my PC do not have the same effect on my Blackberry. Is this a setting issue or just one of those things we have to live with?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have searched around and found many problems faced regarding the email icon showing unread emails but in actual fact there are none. My problem however is the opposite of that - there are unread emails but it is not indicating as such.
This is specifically for Gmail as all my other email accounts are showing unread emails just fine. It is a minor issue but it does get on my nerves trying to figure this out.
Recent activities include upgrading OS to OS5 and changing telco, doubt if these are the cause of it. I have tried deleting and creating the email account and battery pull to no avail.
I'm having an issue with emails being marked as read in my work Outlook Inbox as soon as they are sent to my Torch 9850, even though I have not opened the email on my phone or on my PC.

I have a Torch 9800 and I received about 246 messages a space of 5min. The messages were marked in red with a title "HACKERS" from <removed>. The message was very chicky written "your phone has been hacked, enjoy while we hacking your phone". Should I be worried about any of my info being exposed and utilised? How protected is my data? Why does the gmail app icon always show 99+ and the email icon always shows 30 emails even after I clean up my mailboxes and know for sure that I have 0 unread emails? Is there a fix for this? When I was on ios as soon as I had all emails read the counts from the app icons used to disappear.

Yahoo Messenger has been installed and use for long time in my 9300. Somehow, in past 2 weeks, I could not login to Yahoo, Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Messenger.
Everytime lgoin to yahoo web, mail or messenger always giving me Username and password is invalid. But for Pop-up mail with Yahoo still working and fine
Several trial has been done in the device, like:
- Re-install Yahoo Messenger
- Uncheck item"Remeber my ID..."
- Trial with several account
With PC Login:
- Through yahoo website account and delete all web related connection
- Login with PC desktop with all the account not any issue and can login perfectly
Of course, regular ceremony by reset, remove battery has been doing as well
