I have an 8250. I have an issue with e-mail coming through which appear to have been opened by themselves. i.e no indication of a new e-mail with the new one being opened without being read?
View 1 RepliesMy blackberry is receiving the email of today and also the email of 2 months' ago (marked unread) . For example, it received new email of July 30 and automically load the old email of May 30 again to the blackberry. The loading of old mail happens everyday. The problem happens since my office PC was recovered the outlook data.

I had a problem with my e-mails I stopped receiving messages on Friday and since talking to the service centre I now have 2 icons on my main screen. The new one has a globe at the bottom and my email address at the top when I scroll over it. All very nice but totally unnecessary.
Since this icon has appeared all my emails on my main computer are being marked as read. They were not before Friday Any ideas??
I have a 9650 with BIS on Sprint. I get my e-mail through OWA. When I open or mark as read an e-mail on my phone, my Outlook inbox on my desktop is updated accordingly. However, when I open an e-mail on my desktop, my inbox on my phone is not updated to show that the e-mail has been opened. I have to go in an mark as read all of the items, which is a royal pain.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have Yahoo on my iPhone, right? When I read an email in my Yahoo account on my iPhone, and later log into my Yahoo account, it shows those messages as read. Heck, I can even file my emails away in my folders, if I want to; i.e. move them over to my bills folder, or my purchases folder, or my mom folder.Now, here's the deal with my other account tho. I have my work emails going to my iPhone too. At work, I use Outlook. I do not know a whole lot about how things are set up over here, but I have access to answers if you guys can help me find out the right questions to ask. When I read a work email on my iPhone, and I get to work the next morning, there it is, bold and unread. I really want it to show as read. I get an obnoxious amount of work emails. The whole point in keeping up with them on my phone is to save me time in the long run. So, when I get to work and have to re-read them all, I've saved nothing. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a facebook notification that shows up as seen, but not opened. So it does not have the red asterisk, but will not leave home screen. I cannot get it to go away.
Things I have tried:
-Soft reset
-Hard reset (pulling battery)
-Uninstalling Facebook via app world - made it go away
-Reinstalling Facebook via app world - made it come back
-As far as I can tell, it does not show up in either Messages or Facebook app
-Went to facebook website from laptop and open/cleared all notifications
-Went to mobile facebook website from phone and clicked on link that said "clear all notifications"
-Going into Messages, selecting today's date, then menu button, and "Mark Prior Opened"
-Going into Facebook app, notifications tab, selecting today's date, then menu button, and "Mark Prior Opened"
At this point I would be happy with understanding where the notifications that appear on your homescreen are stored and if I could maybe delete a cache file or something from windows when I have it plugged into my computer.
My incoming email is being marked as read before I read them. It is an att.net email address.Â

Using Lumia fw 800 1600.2487.8107.12070. Is this mine settings fault, but in my calendar all phone-contact's birthdays are marked one day early! My contact's has "birthday" field given and it seems that systems automatically inserts these as activities. i.e. If one person has birthday on 22.07.2012, it shows on 21.07.2012 calender!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have noticed one contact (from my Google Contacts) that I've marked as a "Favorite" that absolutely will not appear in the contact list when I open the Contact app. If I get a call or message from that person, All of the relevant contact information shows and in fact I can go directly to a Contact card for that person from either text messages, call log entries, and email. The only way I cannot see the contact is in the contact list with one small exception. The only time I can see the contact in question is if I go to the dialer app and select the "Favorites" tab.
The contact appears in the favorites list. The contact record shows a link to a Google profile, but the contact never shows up in the contact app. I've tried various things to try and get the contact to show in the contacts list, but nothing seems to work. I'm not running any special apps for email, or texting. I do not have Facebook or Twitter included in Motoblur (in fact make minimal use of Motoblur). I use the "official Twitter and Facebook apps. Last night, I did a factory reset as a last resort, but it did not change anything.
I am having tough times trying to figure it out why Gmail messages are not automatically marked as read it on my Blackberry after I read them on my computer at the Google Webmail page. I have just read 5 emails on Google web page and they are still appearing as unread it on my Blackberry. My wife has the iPhone, and it immediately marked messages as read it as well. Do I need to set any specific setting?
