This happened all of a sudden. Spoke to Yahoo support for over an hour. No fix. Receiving Yahoo emails on Iphone okay, and sending and receiving emails from other email accounts on iPhone okay. Sending and receiving from Yahoo on computer or Safari browser on iPhone okay. Only problem is sending from Yahoo application on iPhone. Get message mentioned in subject.

I have restored my blackberry 9900 bold backup last night and sincd then i am unable to use my yahoo account on bb, i can receive the emails but cant reply it .... when i try to reply a new window open but on blackberry menu there is no option of send.... and its only happening in Yahoo.... I can use my gmail account and Mail Xchange accounts but the problem is only with yahoo.
I have tried to reboot by pulling up a battery.... Have registered my blackberry device Have Deleted and Sent Service Book Have received the emails that your account has been activated and you will begin to receive emails in next 20mins. The connection to the outgoing server "apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com" failed. Additional Outgoing Mail Servers can be configured in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Typically, this is followed by the message being place in the Outbox.
Sometimes, the message actually does go out when the iPhone says that is could not send the message.At others, after a very long period of time, the "swoosh" sound tells me that a message was sent.
This is a new symptom and I have not changed my mail settings at all. I have tried deleting my mail account and re-adding the same, but no help. I've tried sending email from another iPhone, same issue. I've also verified that this is not isolated to my account, since my wife was complaining about the same symptom on her phone using her Yahoo! email account.
I entered my Mail app to check my emails and saw that my Yahoo email account had 4,294,967,099+ emails. I have reset my IPhone by holding the power and home buttons together and deleting my Yahoo account and re-adding but it still shows 4 billion emails.

What can I do to make it check the e-mail automatically?
New Galaxy six, did the whole gmail sync to get my contacts transferred. Also since the gmail account set-up, I'm getting so much more junk in both of my accounts. It's obviously not as secure as my other emails. But bottom line, my mail won't send from yahoo but will from my imap account with century link. My old LG had me set up as yahoo being imap, the new Galaxy set it up as pop? I can't access my outgoing settings anymore on my old phone so don't know what to change them to?
